avoid buying a fake phone next time you want to buy a phone, first identify the model of the phone you want to buy, copy the name and model number , take it to the market and buy the pack first. Then take the pack you bought to the shop you want to buy the phone, before paying for the phone, remove it and fix it in the pack you already bought, check the ear phone, charging port and the volume control keys, if they did not fit in properly, that phone is a copy .COPIES don't have the same fitting as original phones.

2:THE WARRANTY SEAL
you can find this seal at the back of almost all phones, this seals is carefully placed above a screw at the back of the phone, next time you want to buy a phone, pretend as if you are checking the battery, examine all the screw holding the phone, you will see a warranty seal covering one of them, if you cant find this seal, the phone is most likely a COPY.

3:NETWORK PROMO LABEL
This is the surest way to identify original INFINIX,ITEL OR TECNO android phones. they come with either MTN,GLO,or ETISALT promo label sealed inside there pack. all the years I have spent in phone business, I have never seen a copy with NETWORK promo label, so next time you want to buy a phone, if you see the promo seal, you are buying original phone (INFINIX,TECNO and ITEL android only).

The only safe method is to stop patronising those makeshift kiosk or shops. Only buy phones at approved dealers to avoid stories that touch.
I once had an encounter. Went to computer village to get a phone. After what seemed like a very good bargaiin, I left home with the phone. It was actually an Infinix hot 4 phone or so I thought. After getting home and trying to explore my new phone, what I discovered shocked me!
1. The imei of the phone written on the battery compartment was different from the one when you dial *#06#
2. The phone bluetooth name was showing boom J8
3. When I logged in to FB, it was saying download facebook app for your boom J8
4. I ran an imei test on infinix site and it said my device was not genuine
5. Tried connecting with my system and I found out that the specs in the phone were all fake. A phone with 16gb rom and 2gb ram was actually 1gb rom and 512mb ram

Seriously, on a first look at the phone, it look genuine. The finger print was working, the camera was good and the build was ok. It's really difficult to spot the phone as fake on mare physical handling.

I went back and complain to the seller with proof that the phone was fake and that I am a Tech guy. Luckily for me, he agrred to refund me. Guess I'm lucky in a million of such similar cases.

Those people you think sale original phones has fake ones stocked by there workers ,besides there prices are very high , a whooping 10k and above different ,they will inflate the price because they have workers to pay,Ac to fuel and other maintenances .next time you want to buy a phone ,look for someone that knows about phone to guide you, you can as well contact me through my site for proper guide.
