As for throwing away all the texts ? i wouldnt suggest you do because even in the corrupted versions there is a bit of enlightenment to be had from it. nothing that would change your life, but enough to sharpen your spiritual wit

What I believe is that as a newer person in practice or a dilettante magician or occult practitioner reading certain text might not come with any substantial meaning. But the more one delves into practice and study things begin to make more sense. I remember years ago when I first came across the sefer yetzirah it was practically meaningless but it gradually begins to make sense if you give in the time. Some of our friends here can't begin to explain to you the potential of that book. Believe me you will shiver.

Whatever looks like it was written upside down as one feels should be put aside, give time to other basic texts, proper practise, meditation and contemplating then come back and re-reading it, maybe the writing might become more straightforward.
