Hi @sleekysilk, meant no harm; was just stating a counter argument, so that we can see it from different perspectives . However if my stating that i dont quite agree made you feel some kind of way, apologies. We are all learning here.

Congratulations @ray78. Happy for all PPR recipients

Hello Sis, no shaking. I did not feel any kind of way o... We're all on the same page. I just tried to analyze the 2 scenerios. TRV application after ITA (this person to me stands a better chance because if I'm the VO I will think he/she would not want to jeopardise his ITA/PR application by overstaying) but the person with TRV application before ITA... (you tell me say make I give you visa to go come back, while I still dey reason the thing, all of a sudden you come say you want PR) I go just tell you say kukuma wait fo your PR except na exam you wan go write abi you need serious medical attention that can wait for PR approval.
NOTE: If na me be the VO ooooo...
And @headgirl, hephgirl, buhahahahaha

Quick question for y'all: Is the score gotten from using the CRS tool your likely final score or is there a final score gotten from the Canadian Immigration peeps after reviewing and assessing your initial application, including work history and qualifications?

Thanks.

Good day house,
Got a friend that submitted ITA without medicals cos they went in through PNP; said they will be adviced on when to submit it(ADR I guess). Please is this an 'okay' step? Doesn't seem right to me.
Your input will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

How many years work experience? Ops sorry I just saw that you have 3years work experience already.

In that case, if you ace the IELTS as stated above, you'll be sitting on 458 comfortably.

May God help you dear!

Hello, it's the same score, the CRS tool is from the Canadian Immigration website right? It's designed in a way that makes it transparent.
Goodluck.

Hello there, well as far as I can tell Medical documents are needed as part of documents you need to submit post ITA, along with PCC of countries visited with a cummulative stay of 6 months since 18th birthday, work reference etc.

I don't understand how or why they submitted without medicals. Please clarify so it becomes clear. You can also wait for seniors to wade in.

I don't understand either, they submitted ITA without medical cert; they haven't even done their medicals yet. So I need to know if they are on the right track or being advised wrongly.thanks

Quick one sirs and mas.

When will I be required to pay application fees? It already gave me the option to pay application+PPR fee or application only and i picked application only...yet it did not bring option to make the payment.

Is it at the point of submission i will make the payment? Or at what point please?

That question you answered is just to populate your fees. Payment is not immediately after that but the very last page. Once you’ve uploaded all documents, you’d see option to proceed after calculation of your fees is displayed. Then you’d be asked to pick what type of card you’re using then the page to fill in card details comes up.

I can’t recollect well but you surely can’t miss it. Just keep going, you’d get there.

Good people, una good morning. Please can one use his salary account as proof of fund? or mixture of both salary and savings account. Thank you.
I believe you can use any or both. Just follow CIC's requirement and you're good, if you can't get your bank to give you the letter in the required format, you can resort to six months statement of account. You may however do a covering letter if you're using more than one account/source.

Good Day house. I'm new to this forum and I need your valuable experience.
I have two questions, I am presenting creating a profile and I need your input on the following;

Question 1 : I started my work life in May 2010 where i worked as a credit Analyst for 6 months. After which i was moved to Marketing. I worked as a Marketing staff from November 2010 till August 2012. I then resigned and went for one year masters from Sep. 2012.

I came back to the same bank in August 2014 as a credit analyst.]My question is do i need to put my prior years’ experience before masters or do i just include the post masters experience as it accounts for over 3years work experience to claim the maximum points?

If i need to include the Marketing experience is the NOC okay as 6235.

Question 2

My husband is self-employed. DO i need to include his work experience when creating a profile? Also I do not plan to do ECA for his degree, do I need to include his degree when creating a profile and select ECA not done.

Please family help me with the above enquiry

Q1.) If I were you, I'd just use the work experience of the three years only. The three years gives you maximum points, you then fill the rest in your personal history post ITA.

Q2.) To prove self employed, you need some paper works which isn't too much of a big deal to get but you can save yourself (your husband actually) the trouble of going through that stress as your spouse won't be awarded any point for work experience gained outside Canada. Long and short, answer No when asked if your spouse has work experience. For the degree, you have the right answer. Select ECA not done.
