Hnmmmmn so many pertinent questions. The question is what is heaven and what is hell? Could they be opposite states of mind?

I will share an experience with You. When my dad died I was 16 i had left the hospital with my brother and less than 48 hours later I was informed that he had passed On. Fast forward to about 3 days later, I had a "dream".

In this "dream" I saw my Dad, I was shocked and accidentally blurted out " but I thought you were dead". He looked at me and asked in his characteristic fashion " who told you I'm dead?" Before I could reply he said " did you SEE me die? I'm here".

He looked and acted exactly the same I didn't tell anyone except my mum. But after that day I was convinced that there was a place souls went that was not the hell described in church.

I am of the opinion that some of us hang around here for a while due to our attachments after which we go on a long, long journey.

Have you ever read Wondered in the spirit lands by Franchezzo? Some of the events recounted might be at variance with what you might beleive... But, you never know.
and to further buttress ur point I will advice anyone who wishes to know more about life after death to read up 'three lives' by lobsang rampa

Had Jesus been present when he said that verse in Deuteronomy, would Jesus clap for him amd say, "well done son?"

SoapAndSponge:

You sure about this, Ana?
That God don't send nobody to hell, save their choice?
No, He doesn't, he never created hellfire for humans, but for satan and his demons.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew:25:41
Those on the left hand side took the ways of the beast so will end where the beast will ends.

SoapAndSponge:

Even a sin as minute as white lies can land someone in hell. What about my ancestors who weren't privy to the Gospel; lived in sin without an awareness of consequences, and are dead long ago. Did they choose hell?
Lolz, there's nothing like a white lie. Every lie comes with a motive, and it's the motive behind the action that stands judgement. Why did you lie the 'White lie?'.
I happened to grow up knowing that the folks of those days were more morally upright that these day's generations of today.

Again, the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Acts:17:30

SoapAndSponge:

If my sister were a Nairaland Satanist who told me to mind my business, I would literally love hell OUT of her, and not in such a way that my love would then stand against her on the last day. I rather not love her in such manner as to be the one who hastens her descent into hell. It's akin to wishing her hell.
You missunderstand me, my love for them is not to know they'll be damned on judgement day and i'll laugh and say 'i told you' kind of way.
Lolzz, I have seen deep satanists repent and are super hot for Christ today.

Trust me that some of them here will encounter Christ and become even better Christians in furure than i am now.

SoapAndSponge:

Luke 9:54-55
[i]And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?But Jesus rebuked them. Ye do not know what manner of spirit ye are of...
Jesus of Nazareth is for Man not against him, both saints and sinners. He came for hateful sinners, remember that.
SoapAndSponge:

Kindly take a look at the above, Ana...
And compare with the verse you quoted.
Christ is our standard, right?
Does that verse in Deuteronomy speak the language of love?
Yes indeed YHWH is indeed a God of love, Mercy, compassion and forgiveness.
Adam sinned in Eden hence thrusts us all into sin, till his death, he never felt remorse enough to ask for forgiveness, but YHWH didn't only covered the shame he brought on himself and on us all, but avenged Man's enemy by sending Christ to bruise the head.

Actions attracts consequences my dear but those working for the beast system wants to go free from YHWH even when their master doesn't let his captives go.

SoapAndSponge:

Here's what Moses says.....
I call heaven and earth to record this day "against" you......the keyword being against..
I find it hard to reconcile how the spirit of love can be at work in you and then you take actions AGAINST those God connected you with because they are clearly in the wrong.
You forget that YHWH is a God of perfect justice. Love goes with Justice dear.
I love you enough to warn you 'Against' premarital sex and let you know that it will lead to unwanted pregnancy, which may lead to murdering the baby, that's very serious. If i warn you 'Agaisnt' unprotected sex, letting you know about STDs, but you feel i'm too dumb to believe anything like STDs exists, why will you blame me if you die of it?

Sin is a disease of the Spirit. If you sin, you kill your spirit, just like if you contact cancer, it kills your body.
SoapAndSponge:

Now, here's what the disciples say
"Shall we command fire from heaven to come down and consume them."....the keywords being fire and consume.
Jesus rebuked them. Because such spirit was not of zeal, but a vengeful kind.

We know that Moses was a great man, a great vessel of Yahweh. But he had anger issues.
How does this prove God sends people to hellfire?

SoapAndSponge:

Since they won't hear, then they shall get the hell they deserve. Right?

I agree.
Let's assume that they have unwittingly chosen hell.
Question is, will Ana love them into it, or out of it?
Power of choice is playing out here. No one is a robot. Make your choices and live with them.

Thanks man, I was reading this book last month on my phone before it got stolen and I forgot the title.
Re: The Middle Path by Nobody: 3:48pm On Oct 21, 2017
Hi Lotusfansmiley

I understand you.

That said, I for one,,
I do not have direct dream experiences.
Most of my dreams are symbolic.
I mean, the ones where my higher self is trying to pass a message.
And I always dream of situations before they happen, well, symbolically of course. And I tend to wake up with the interpretation.

Other times, it's just my subconscious playing tricks.
Like I dreamt when LoJ gave me a Bible verse 1peter 1:37.
Of course, nothing like that exists that is known to me.

So maybe, it was your subconscious playing tricks, or your higher self trying to send you a symbolic message.

I dreamt once of my off spring's death. I was given this oil by someone to rub on, got revived.
I was in between this world and the other when I cancelled that dream. I was shitty scared.
Turns out it wasn't my offspring but something very precious to me.
Now that was a symbolic message.

Few days later, I would see my offspring in same dream taking first steps and looking so happy in a white apparel.
Interpretation? I conquered.
Another symbolic message.

We can all rely on the spirit of truth within each and every to point us to the right path and make known to us the things which are confusing.

Mr.Sarassin, how do I petition an angel over something that was stolen from me? Say my phone.
Re: The Middle Path by Nobody: 3:59pm On Oct 21, 2017
Sarassin!
cheesy
Hiyaasmileysmiley

I get your point.

But I'm curious.
I once read from a grail adherent that souls that die with some form of sin or baggage to deal with...for example, those who do not believe in God,, will likely be in some hellish darkness for a while, till they realize that they need God.
For some of these souls, it could take eons, while for some,, very short time.

It all depends on how they have lived on this plane.

Now as regards suicidals, do they have to be reborn and go through life again and again till they learn this lesson, or do they remain in a particular state till they realize the folly in their actions, with intentions to make amends,, at which point the divine now sees fit to give them another chance at living to correct their mistakes on this plane?

oh lawd, help him understand my yappings. grin

Your views please smiley

Lobsang Rampa was an English man named Cyril Hoskin, he was a plumber. Prior to writing his first book he had never travelled outside of England. He did all his research at the British library in London.

Sure, novels are interesting. His methods were simplistic, incomplete and mostly watered down Hermetic practice. He described one method of opening the third eye which was simply horrific. No serious practitioner takes Rampa seriously. I should add...in my view.

to be honest, after a long while in the work I came to see rampa as not being a bonafide adept of occult lores.
but that's after several years of engaging in esoteric learning.
I guess u too would at some point in time read one or two of his books before u could conclude dat he was a 'fraud'
