yes,I applied for MBBS.
I am currently in about 4 unimaid group on Facebook but all they do there is to post fake admission news and other inconsequential write ups(am sorry for being too frank, its just the truth).
when I asked simple questions about unimaid there, no one answer me(I guess other aspirants already know all about the school).
I am from Kwara state,so I can hardly find any aspirant who chose unimaid also(guys drew back due to the increasing rate of insurgency)
Even if admission comes out,I don't have any legit information on what is best to do.
kindly help me bro.

You are right about their annoying post which are sometimes constructed in an annoying way. But unimaid updates ain't really a fake group just that the aspirants there take delight in making a jest about the release of admission list. So my advice is join the group but learn to overlook. ALWAYS VISIT THEIR WEB SITE that's where you can get a genuine information (unimaid online. Com)
Am not surprised that they didn't answer. But there is unimaid aspirant page on naira land where your questions can be answered, there are information about the school right here on this platform u just need to type the key words to browse.

Don't know of any too from kwara but don't think is that necessary
how far with ur jamb score hope is good since u r not an indigene

Good morning docs. I'm New here. I'm aspiring to study medicine and surgery in prestigious university of ibadan. I'm actually having my post utme exam on saturday. What baffles me now is that U.I don't use jamb scores(only post utme) but i'm confident in myself that i will perform excellently. I also wanna know the course outline of the MBBS program all through the 100level. thanks..
I'm going to be telling you about the erstwhile courses because I was graded using the 7pts grading system.

Currently, the University of Ibadan uses the 4pts grading thus, there have been changes in the course codes, course outline and practicals.

The following courses were the ones I was thought using the 7pts grading system:

CHE 157(Physical Chemistry)
CHE 177(Organic Chemistry)
CHE 127(Inorganic Chemistry)
CHE 195(Practical Chemistry)

PHY 112(Electricity and Modern Physics)
PHY 113(Waves and Optics)
PHY114(Mechanics and States of Matter)
PHY 115(Heat and Thermodynamics)
PHY 118(Practical physics)

ZOO 111(The mammalian body)
ZOO112(Cell Biology and Genetics)

GES107(Reproductive Health STIs & HIV)
GES101(Use of English)

Following the use of a new grading system, some courses have been added to the existing ones viz:

ZOO115(Introductory Ecology)
ZOO 116(Introductory Invertebrate Zoology)
ZOO117(Introductory Vertebraete Zoology)
ZOO118(Practical Zoology)

I wish you the very best on Saturday.

please is there any schools l that still take second choice for MBBS?
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Ayotunde911(m): 10:43am On Oct 25, 2017
Your chances of gaining admission to a school you chose as second choice is very seldom or not possible as the competition between those who chose the school as their first choice persist. I'm not trying to discourage you but that's just the veracity... Not withstanding, there is nothing impossible. I hope am able to answer your question.

They are our lights...
They are our Heroes...
They crossed the hurdles and the stumbling blocks... The hazy and thorny bridges of the college of Medicine...
faculty of Dentistry they called it... It sounded easier and lighter until they got in to behold the Dragon...

Doggedly, they tactically smashed their fears and anxieties....their lights superseded... Shining brighter than a diamond....
They trampled upon the multiple serpents of the Dragon.. The 2nd BDS part A Oral Biology (Oral Anatomy, oral physio and Oral biochemistry) with the 2nd Mbbs General Anatomy, physiology, Biochemistry.... Chai ! Metabolism.....

they smashed the scorpions.... The 3rd Mbbs Pathology (chemical pathology and Histopathology, Hematology, medical microbiology and immunology, morbid Anatomy) and pharmacology....including the burning horns.. 3rd Bds in Dental prosthesis, Basic technique in Dental Anasthesia, operative techniques and science of Dental materials....
Like Eagles, their wings enveloped the final mbbs in General Medicine and General Surgery, including and the subspecialties of both medicine and surgery..... And General Anasthesia... This was when they qualified to be doctors....

It still didn't end there....Just like David, they catapulted the Goliath in final Bds.... These are Restorative Dentistry, pediatrics Dentistry, preventive/community Dentistry and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.... Finally Qualifying them as Dental surgeons..... Indeed, They have won, and the crown awaits them.. ..

Come Thursday 26th... The Stakeholders from all spheres, families and friends, the Academic community, physicians/Dental surgeons, and college of Medicine as a whole will converge at the faculty of Dentistry Hall at UNTH.. And watch as the 10 I latest Dental surgeons of the 017 class of the University of Nigeria, are inducted into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria... Automatically giving them green lit to become members of Nigeria Medical Association and also Nigeria Dental Association.... As there titles gradually changes from Mr, Miss or Mrs to the noble title "Dr"..... Indeed, the journey that started to 6yrs ago with so many that were admitted, just 10 got to the final destination for now...
You are all invited...
