Prec1ous:
You applied for the scholarship with the sole aim of winning and getting the grant to study abroad, so why are you now confused?

The situation of the country is dire but you alone know yourself and as an engineer working as a sales representative, then there is space for everyone but not everywhere.

It is better you go since your tuition is covered it you have to start thinking ahead from hence because if you come back to this country with nothing, you may be DOOMED!

Use the opportunity abroad to expand and grow, come back with a new orientation and create jobs or leave there after your study to another country.

I wish you success and shall be well with you.

PS: It is not a prayer, it is what I know, GO WELL!

For those looking for same opportunity as the OP.

Someone mentioned me here and somehow I'm just seeing the mention. I'm sure you've made your decision but lemme say, so after blocking your state brother's chance and getting ptdf scholarship, plus that fine course Manchester gave me that year, you want to dump the scholarship @DanXplore

At the bolded, there is no way i could block anyone's chance. The amount of replaceable candidates available should i reject the offer is analogous to a heat reservoir. If i drop, there are inexhaustible number of people that could replace me

My Advice (from personal Experience)
1. Face your studies very well and come out with good result.
2. Before you go contact a reliable agent for immigration to Canada in case you come back and no Job,
with just 20 hours (Security job) it will not be difficult to pay Canada Agent.

It's quite unfortunate that Nigerian graduates can't think but rather wants others to think for them.

You are an adult and should be able to know what you want. You could regret if you take random advice dropped here by inexperienced people.

Please follow your mind.

I do not share in your opinion. There is a lot to gain from a potpourri of views, and nairaland is blessed with all kinds of intellectuals with experience. Success is more assured in a multitude of counsellors.

Dump that job and go for your MSc. I did the same and haven't had any regrets. I did a BSc in one of the natural sciences and left a good paying job (in audit as well) with PWC. After 3 months I resigned immediately I got an opportunity to do an MSc in the UK.
On returning it was difficult to get a job at first but I got a job with a foreign government's development agency that paid more than 4 times my previous salary. There are many opportunities to travel, learn and improve as well.
Ultimately do what you feel benefits you most in the long term. Good luck
