please what are the questions being asked and how about the accent of the Ecos?
Just know your course, why you chose the school and UK, your plans after your program etc
If you have been watching British film or listening to BBC news on cable, you should be fine.

If you can prove that the reason you were initially denied was wrong and you back up with supporting documents, you will get your visa.

Don’t bother about success rate, just submit the right documents and you will get your visa. All the best.

You were able to explain and you have submitted right? Then just go and pray, that’s all you can do now bro.

Asking for the success rate of AR might kill your faith and spoil your mood. Nothing can be done now apart from prayers. Have faith bro.

Hi
Firstly I'm sorry to tell you that some of those information aren't true .

I'm an alumni of Edinburgh Napier University(MSc). Firstly, you will have to pay 3500 pounds deposit before you can apply for CAS. Then you have to provide 28 days statement of account which should reflect your remaining tuition and living expenses for 9 months before the uni can send your CAS to your email.

As for work permit, yes you can work for 20hrs per week during term time and full time during holiday but the truth is its likely you won't get a job immediately. I'm not been harsh but you don't have national insurance number, it's compulsory you get that before anyone will employ you. You part time job will only pay you maximum of 12 pounds per hours that's if it's Care job and about 7.5 pounds per hour minimum for other jobs, so you are likely not going to make as much money to cover your tuition and living expenses. Also I'm sure the cold in January, accommodation and school runs won't allow you think about working for the first 2 months.

Then the fee payment policy allows you to only make payment in this format.
50% during matric and 50%in may
Pay the remaining in 6 months ,that's is January to June
Pay in 3 installment, January ,March, May
That's even if you remaining fees is more that 6500pounds , if not all your fees are due at matriculation.

My advice is that you should visit the university website and research. All these information is available on the school website. Don't let anyone deceive you please.

To be precise, he said the fee is 15000 pounds which can be paid like 7500 for first year and same for 2nd year.. And am entitled to 3000 pounds scholarship for first year which means I will be left with 4000 pounds for first year, I will have to pay 3500 pounds from naija so I will have 500 pounds left to pay for first year then if I sta working the 20 hours during school I will be saving up for the following year. I am confused because of the stories I hear of hardship in uk. why I eve considered this is because I presently earn nothing. I want advice please... Now I get, you are going for MBA leadership practice. The tuition he quoted is somehow close. Well your tuition per year is 7835 if you will be resuming in January. Yes you will pay 3500 froom Naija and you will get scholarship of 3000 pounds so that means your remaining tuition is 1335 pounds. I told you about the tuition policy, this remains tuition is due before or during matriculation.

The following year, yes you can start saving up for the next year but remember that you will need to use up some of these money for living expenses, that means 500 pounds everymonth.you can save the remaining. If you are very hard working and you can do care job you will like make it ,if not I don't see how that's possible without any support from home. Mind you care job isnt that bad o but for me I couldn't do it but since you know your situation you should just zero your mind to do any job that will pay you more so that you can sort your bills. Hardly will you get someone to dash you money in Scotland o.

My advice still remain that if you read up the information of school website you will be more knowledgeable and also think about your capability, can you really work hard? Working in UK isn't like Naija o. If you are working ,my dear you are working and earning is sure.. I wish you the very best

'To be precise, he said the fee is 15,000' - Did he show you how and where he got those figures from?

'And am entitled (really??) to 3000 pounds scholarship for first year' - You saw that on the Admission letter?

'I will have to pay 3500 pounds from naija' £3500 = N1,691,530 Do you already have that?

'I presently earn nothing' - Do you have an idea how much accommodation cost is, in Edinburgh?

'if I start working the 20 hours during school I will be saving up for the following year' - Do you have a rough estimate of HOW MUCH you will be earning in those 20 hours per week jobs?

You are too LAZY to search for yourself (I wonder how you hope to cope with the fast-paced learning environment in Scotland) and have to rely on an agent for the most basic of things (and to think that its not because you are busy working - as according to you, " why I eve considered this is because I presently earn nothing"wink.
If i was close to you, I for find cane flog your bum bum. But as a Good Christian that I am, let me help your lazy self.

Brother (or maybe Sister) Buku: if the care jobs with which you talk pays £15 per hour (Which I know they will not) considering that this particular guy does not even have a level 1 HCA certification (practically places him in band 0). £15 x 20 hours = £300 per week. Sound good. How much is rent in Edinburgh? Food and commute? Bills?

Oga or madam I am sure about what I'm talking about. I said 12 pounds for night shift. I have friends that are still working in that sector. He will only go for training which the agency will sort for him and he will need to make payment for his pvg and the training proper.

Kindly read my write up again,I said he will need to use about 500 for living expenses per month out of the total he will earn in a month. So he can actually save the remaining. Do the calculation

Flatshare of 300 per month still exist as far as I know. Lothian bus is 45 pounds per month and you can travel as far much as you desire (night and day). The remaining 150 should take care of his bills and food. I would also assume he will go with some food froom Naija.

Everyone isn't born with a silver spoon. Some people have done it and they were successful.

I still insist you carry out proper research. This will help you a lot and make sure you are ready for what you about to start. All the best

@nwizu042 I live in Scotland and I have been here for years.... I will tell you nothing but the truth.

I doubt someone who just starts a care work can be given £12 (night shift) for a start until at least 3 months of work experience in that same sector. Even if that is the case, you will need to pay for training .... I don’t know how much that is at the moment.

I will strongly advice you sort out payment of your first year fees (look for family or friends that can support you) you don’t want to come here and be disturbed. Within the first year, you would have understood the system very well, be doing one or2 care jobs so as to boost your experience in that sector.

Bro dont ever think you will come to UK and start working immediately, this can only be possible if you already have someone (like a family member that lives in that same city and will show you the way immediately). If you don’t have any support in that city, I beg you in Gods name, make sure you have funds to easily settle your first year fees without stress or the school pursuing you up and down. Remember you are paying almost £15k for This MBA and attendance for international student is compulsory.

And I can say confidently that it is very difficult to even get 20hours as a student weekly, regularly for the duration of term time. Agency have lots of workers and demand for care workers can be high and low depending on if clients have jobs to offer and on your own availability. I can bet that you will not get job every week in your first year as a student (no be say I dey curse you, na reality). Also forget all those calculations you see up there, things don’t work that smooth in reality, they are just on paper.

When you get here, you will realise that you will not get job almost in 2 months cos you will still wait for NI number, you will just be adjusting to a new environment, school work, register with agency, go for training, pay for PVG and even before agency start calling you for jobs etc if you are not well prepared for all this mentally and financially, you may start panicking and may even. Start getting bad advice from some people you meet in Scotland reason why I said if you have your first year fees settled, you will be at peace).

In Scotland and even in the whole of UK, there is no free money, them no dey even dash tips even fellow church members hardly give money, I am telling you as e dey go.

As a naija boy, you will definitely survive the second year cos by then you would have had work experience on the care job, you would have fully settled down, know more people, get more information and then during your holiday (between the first and second year) you will do 2 jobs , you can do cleaning in the morning and then care job at night (by this time you would have had experience and you should be earning £12).

What I have written above, is the most feasible way out for you in your situation.

Can I ask, how many months break will they give you between your first year and second year? You need to know this information , to aid your planning.

@nwizu042 Also you made mention of some people saying there are no jobs in UK, let me clarify this statement as I also made mention of it some posts back.
If your school is promising you a job like you said ( please confirm from school website or contact them directly to be very sure), then congrats to you.

Student jobs for survival

There are jobs you can do weekly all around Uk that will take care of feeding and accommodation hence why they gave you 20hours to work (strictly for feeding and accommodation)

Jobs after graduation

There are few jobs with many international students coming into UK yearly which makes it very difficult to get. You neeed to be doing a good course ( a course that most of their students in UK are not really doing or doing well in), very good grade and also apply early (cos you only have 4-6 months after studies to leave the country). Yes people still get jobs, I mean international students but how many?

If 50 out of let’s say about 1000 people that come to study in Scotland get jobs, will You say that is a good number?

Ask around, there are many many people who come to UK yearly and only few, I mean very few get jobs and stay back.

This is why I always advice that if your aim is to stay back in UK after studies, it is better you just try Canada cos after studies, you are guaranteed post study visa which could be 1-3 years depending on how many years your PG programme is for. Infact even after the post study, you can get PR.

If your aim is to get quick masters degree, good education even with a Poor BSC result within 1 year and then go back to Nigeria, then UK is the place to be. Just of recent I was shocked to find out you can even do a masters in Strathclyde university with even a third class.... yes for real.

Also, most people that come back to Nigeria after masters abroad are usually people from UK. Go on the island in lagos and shout masters from UK, you will be shocked how many people have it.
How many people do you see come back after studies in Canada? USA? Germany? If your aim in permanent immigration, then UK is definitely not for you. Infact from their immigration laws, you can tell they only want you to study and look around and take pictures for the extra months on your visa and go back home.

I love UK, I reside here, so peaceful etc but truth is possibility of getting jobs to stay back after your PG is very very low.
