Sorry about the 4 eggs but my dear, it takes just one egg to cause that miracle to happen.

For the cyclogest please follow your Drs instruction on 3 times daily. Maybe he noticed something in the hormonal profile that was done. I have used cyclogest 3 times daily too and even added injection to it.

By God's mercies, it will end in praise for you.

The Breakthrough.

After waiting for some time with no conception and the option of travelling back to India not feasible, we started thinking about a good hospital to go in Lagos. I was at work 1 day, during my break, i browsed the internet and came about a website called The Fertile Chick. i clicked on it and lo and behold, there was a story that did analysis on all major IVF centres in Nigeria. I checked the contents and asked my hubby to check as well. she settled for The Alpha Assisted Reproductive Klinic (The ARK in Dolphin, Lagos).

Ambience was superb, Staff were courteos, The Ark centers their treatment around GOD and power to do the impossible. Awesome Miracles abound in their books and lots of paintings and inscriptions on wall says a lot abt this. She felt at home there and concluded in her mind from day 1 not to complain about anything but just say YES to whatever the DR says), Treatment was not CHEAP (compared to others), Latest innovations and technology are present in their modus operandi. In short, they are FANTASTIC AND we can give them 95%.

Tests conducted, IVF treatment done, 2wks Wait, BFP confirmed for the 1st time ever and we are living the dream

I am happy someone finally mentioned thefertilechickonline.com before anyone goes for IUI or IVF or choose a fertile hospital please do your research very well because it's obvious that we have a lot of fake fertility specialist making money off expectant couples.
For a long time I considered IVF but was never sure of where I wanted to do it. But with this blog I was able to streamline a few good hospitals like The Ark, The Mart, The Bridge (although some people might disagree) and The Roding( not so popular)

I eventually used the Roding and it worked for me. I had a few issues with them when it comes to communication cos most of them want to hide their success secrets but the Dr in charge is a blessing. Pls this is not an advert o ooo.

Before embarking on IVF or any assisted method I beg you in the name of God, pray very well to ask God if it's ur own way. Because it might not be the step God wants you to take or it might not be the right timing. If you have read God's waiting room volume 3, then u must have read about IVF and God's timing.
So don't allow desperation or low cost of treatment make you choose an hospital. If u have to wait for the right time pls do.
Also there are few NGOs that financially support some waiting parents. So do your research and pray well. May God help us all achieve our dream of been parents.

Buh, I'm wondering my they gave me a different prize, they told me the prize of ivf is 400k, drugs 400k, as against 250 that you were told, n I have to pay for consultation fee, den carry out test and all dat, I'm just weak right now, don't know were to start from, I'm telling you. God please hear our cry. Sad much

Pls relax.getting a donor is less than 100k in most big ivf hospital. If possible get a donor. Although always preferred the hospital/doctor recruits the donor for privacy reasons and future unknown.

Don't get tired.aim at the result. Save for it.if you must use them.hope that is the only charge(as in no hidden cost).while you save (if the cash is not available)prepare yourself.wish u success

I know of a good hospital in warri/benin.Lily hospital.850k from Dec 1st.but test not inclusive. So ask your doctor if test is inclusive in the 1.3m.

Ivf treatment is not cheap.one of the price to pay for motherhood. You will come out strong, happy, successful n above all u will be celebrated.

Hello everyone. It's been a while. My phone has been acting up. Just a word of advice as regards Fibroid removal.
Please b4 undergoing any Fibroid surgery, a good IVF center will stimulate and store your eggs because it has been proved that ovarian function drops drastically after Fibroid or any uterine surgery. Reason becos the process of trying to ligate vessels to cause minimal blood loss during surgery, prevents blood flow to the uterus and the ovaries, and this slows the process of the ovaries to pick up thereby affects ovarian reserve.

Secondly with regards to donor, pls and pls its better donor remains anonymous so you don't have to give eternal gratitude to the donor. Only God deserves the glory. Also never use a family member in case of tomorrow, if the child becomes President or very influential, thats when the biological mother will appear from nowhere to cause confusion. It's happened before.

Happy Sunday to all the Mamas' in this forum, I pray for you all that God of heaven will visit each and everyone of us in Jesus name amen.
I have been a silent reader for awhile now and must confess that this forum has been so wonderful to me.
Please I need an encouragement. I have been ttc for 12yrs now, but no avail, I have once tried ivf with st.Ives at Ikeja branch but it failed. Due to financial inability we stopped and since been trying to conceive naturally yet nothing happened. Adoption is no go area for husby. Now decided to try lasuth via bridge for another ivf.
After all the test, the Dr is saying:
- I have firbrod which by d grace of God have been sorted out by them through surgery on16th Aug'17
- he also said I will need a donors because of my age, I am 47
Should I change hospital or what do I do? My next appointment is 16th Sept 17

You will get a testimony by the grace of God..
U really don't need to change hospital because just as someone said from 35years ovarian reserve drops and the chances of success ful IVF is higher with donor eggs.
If you were to be in Abuja or environs, I'll ve loved u key into the Salt Foundation promo. Someone placed the advert on this page. I was there physically with a friend for their interactive session and it was very informative.
Investigations is 100k, registration 30k, then IvF 1M for 3 trials. So total is 1.130M for 3 consecutive rounds from ages 35 - 60 years irrespective of using ur eggs or donor.
It's a good one and the sucess rate is 73%
Each round expires after 20weeks of pregnancy. That is, paradventure one takes in the first trial, and something happens along the line, so long the pregnancy is not more than 5months, u are qualified for the second chance still under that payment.
