Am hopeful it will end in praise #MakePPRfall On Us..AMENNN

Send a mail to CPC Ottawa to know your visa office then you mail your visa office and ask them what the status of your application is as it has already passed the 6months timeline. You might want to order GCMS notes to know why it is stuck.

I waited forever. Buhahaha. That was a joke grin.

My transcript was delivered on Sep 12, 2017. Got the second AOR on Oct 11, 2017. ECA was ready on Nov 9, 2017 but didn't get the mail until Nov 27, 2017. So it took about 29 days to get the ECA ready. So it took IQAS 18 days to just scan and send my ECA report.
gracelevel:

Good luck!! please how long did you wait for iqas assessment

Good Morning E-Fam,

Please i need help from those who have created EE Profile. While creating mine, spouse work history was requested for which i put the current job title and the total time spent in the firm.

Should i have listed the various job titles over the years with their individual duration even though it is with the same firm?

I don't want them to say we misrepresented ourselves.

Which is the correct one so i can edit.

Then hope editing will not take us out of the pool to update (this sounds off but, i try to clear every possible wrong turn)

Thank you as you respond.

We have seen people here on this forum evaluate their AAT and WES gave positive assessment as a 1year certificate/diploma. So in addition to the BSc, the person got points for 2 or more certificates/degrees and not BSc alone.
In recent times too, ICAN ACA was evaluated by WES as a Bachelors degree and the applicant also got points for 2 or more certificates/degrees. Although there's this confusion as to the year of ACA qualification as some said WES only evaluates for people that qualified with d new syllabus starting from 2014. But as for AAT, it has always got a positive evaluation.
You may want to reconsider evaluating ur ACA because I read a few weeks back where someone said his 2010 ACA got positive evaluation too
which kind wahala be dis o angry. i used IQAS and they stated it der(they do not evaluate prof qualification). all this iqas/wes pple and confusion self angry. based on this i might not qualify, did pe1 in 2011 and pe2 in 2013

Get ITA, submit your APR (with AOR confirmation), let small breeze blow on your AOR (as advised by a good senior), marry her and then notify IRCC to add her - she will do medicals, PCC and you will update your POF. However if your PPR happens to be one of those that come out with speed of light like some people on this forum and you get PPR before the breeze has finished blowing, I can’t help you with that one grin
One can still get married and add spouse after receiving COPR but before landing. cc: Guitarlife

Hello house,
Please I urgently need your advice. When registering for my wife's ielts, I inadvertently uploaded her passport photo in the place holder for International Passport. I have submitted the application and gotten confirmatory email already. It just just occurred to me not quite long. Please is it possible to edit or can I cancel and register afresh as I have searched the BC site for where that can be done without results.

Proposed test date is January 2nd 2018.

Please I need suggestions and it's very urgent.

Thanking you in advance.

Hello House. I appreciate your good works on this forum.

Please I have a quick question. I intend using my NYSC work experience (Secondary school Mathematics teacher) to get points for my work experience. It is stated on the cic NOC website that one of the employment requirements is Bachelors in Education. My question is, can I still get points for this even though I have Bachelor of "Science" in Mathematics not in Education.

Thanks.

If your spouse doesn't have Canny work experience put zero for work experience and move everything to her personal history. I'm assuming you are the principal applicant.

Made the same mistake while registering for IELTS. I went to BC to inform them and the lady collected my details and sent a link to my email through which I then uploaded copy of my international passport.

Hi Teecann, Nice job you’re doing on here and in za oza room.

I never knew about 8 weeks training. To our seniors in the know, can one be considered for this training if you have say about 6 weeks to departure? Any form of allowance or it’s a total no once the 8 weeks cannot be met?

My good friend @Kontagious

Naughty you! grin grin at the bolded above

Thanks bro. To the silent readers, Kontagious's "za oza room" grin grin meaning our sister thread at: https://www.nairaland.com/4180147/all-canadian-provincial-nominee-programs/2#62783640

Do well to visit for all PNP specific knowledge and issues.

(BTW, We had the pleasure of hosting my good friend @cochtrane yesterday as he took time out of his very busy luggage packing schedule, to pop in to say hello grin grin grin)

Bro, try to check up other pre-arrival services available to Nigeria's PPRs/CoPRs, you might be lucky to find one having programs fitting into the remainder of the time you have before departure.

It is surely ending in praise IJN!

Back in 2015 when I got COPR, I enrolled for the Planning for Canada pre-landing orientation session and through some mix up, they forgot to schedule I and my wife for an in-person session so they made arrangements for a 1 day, custom, online session for us. I logged from my office while my wife logged on from home and we had the session with a counselor in Canada where a lot was explained to us. Because I was already familiar with a lot of the concepts due to my personal research on settling in Canada since 2011, we were able to fly through a lot of the session content and get down to the nitty gritty. It was very helpful and validated a lot of what I already knew. Acces Employment was one of the post landing organisations recommended for further resume preparation, job search, networking and interview training and I had already heard of them from a friend who had landed earlier and passed through them. I landed and signed up for their Leadership Connections program, for persons with management experience and the wealth of knowledge passed across can not be quantified. The purpose of the training was not to give you a job but to prepare for the opportunities to get that job that fits your years of experience. Honestly, the information and network opportunities received, I could not have gotten it based on only trying to find a job online. The experience was so rich that I would get back home daily, share the tips and info with my wife who began to apply them in her job search and got a solid job before I finished the program in her field! I finished the program, took my time began to apply for jobs that were commensurate with my years of experience and skills and the rest is history. A lot depends on what you bring to the table, the ability to have an open mind, drop all the 'Nigerian behavior and mindset' we bring with us and diligently apply the principles they teach at these programmes. Six months after I came here, I landed a job that people who are here years before me still marvel at how I did it. I can't fail to give thanks for God's divine favour as I encourage you to take advantage of these training programmes. I have shared a list of some of them previously in the Living in Canada thread, just search backwards and read up. I can testify they really do make a difference.

Permit me to capitalize this: GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR HOME @blackbuddy

You re an epitome of selflessness. In spite of the fact that you have gone through this process almost 2 years ago and you really do not have any reason to be here to help but you are still here helping, encouraging and pointing folks in the right paths is humbling for me. (Some will cross over to Canny and be forming busy- Nigerians! not talk for today, I dont want to get started. grin grin)

I have been following your posts for a while and its not a secret that you are a very revered person here and across NL.

Just imagine the quoted piece above...and to think many will hustle out PPR/CoPR and just start to use the remaining time to pack alone without availing themselves of this pre-arrival goldmine is scary...and virtually nobody talks again after PPR/CoPR (most of them go into Luggage packing mode grin grin)

Thank God for people like you and my other friends here who keep researching to bring information to our fingertips.

It will surely all end in praise!!

NB:
@Blackbuddy bro, being the principal applicant, did you attend the sessions with madam OR alone? Also, did you take the online sessions alone or together with madam?...I want to be clear about it. Thanks.

Good morning everyone. Just to update you on the individual that got an unfavourable evaluation on her ICAN which I posted sometime ago. Apparently, she has found out the reason why the evelaution came out unrecognised. When she contacted WES, she was told she was evaluated as someone who earned a ‘Certificate of Membership from ICAN’ and not as an ‘Associate of the Institute’. She says that’s probably because she selected “ICAN” and not “Associate of the Institute” when registering with WES. So Wes wrote ICAN to confirm Certificate is genuine and evaluated as certificate of membership. Now she’s starting another one, she says she now sees that one can select “Associate of the Institute” and that’s what she’s doing this time.

This is just to guide other people evaluating ICAN. She is 2013 if I remember correctly and she states she has met a 2010 person with positive evaluation. So maybe it’s not the year? I don’t know. Please note that I do not have ICAN and have no further information or insights on this. I just thought to report what I was told in case it helps someone.

Tolerance for other people’s beliefs is one of the biggest virtues held by Canadians. Also, one of the major ‘rights & freedoms’ is “the freedom to express your beliefs and opinions freely (including through free press)”

If you are on this journey, kindly remember this.

Thanks for your response. This is what have found out so far

Manitoba - You must be able to show you have a tie to the province either by studies or work
British Columbia - A valid job offer
Nova scotia - 67 points
OINP- 1500 is a lot of money

So now am stumped. I was really looking to BC, Manitoba or Ontario.
Anyone has experience to share on PNP application?

walter08:
Some Provinces need particular CRS to apply like Ontario. I suggest you put your info like job reference, IELTS test result, ECA etc together. About 3 or 4 Provinces will open next year January.

Please use WES to evaluate your bsc and AAT. IQAS doesnt evaluate professional qualifications. The procedure is the same. Go to wes canada website. register for evaluation and include the names of the credentials you want to evaluate. use hello fax to send your certificate for both bsc and AAT and follow up with your institutions to send transcript to WES. That's all.
