If the same energy you put here was channelled into going to pick up that part and refunding my money or even answering calls & giving an explanation, this topic wouldn't have been here.

Mind you, I took the replacement unit to 3 other technicians who confirmed it was bad before I returned it.

Kufre U.

Op which vehicle AC compressor are u buying upandan? Toks compressors in Naija parts market don't av even 24hrs guarantee,.....its wat u see u get. My advice, save cash for a brand new OEM AC compressor.
I av changed my Mercedes-Benz w203 AC compressor twice dis year (March and May),......next tym nah brand new OEM I go gun for,......absolute peace of mind dt way.

Hello Kufie,

For the sake of those who will just read the title, 1st post and then click reply, can you update the title to show its been resolved. You can add (resolved) to the end of the title. This will prevent a lot of the persisting mess.

We all learn everyday. I have learnt a thing or two despite not being directly involved and am sure both parties have as well.

.....I took out time to read all the comments from page one. The auto parts guy(luvinhubby) comes across as one who is very arrogant and insensitive. One can easily deduce from you attitude here, that you lack integrity. The fact that you have thousands of customers should not give you the impetus to treat your customers with so much disrespect. You threw all caution to the wind just because you had been paid. Yet you were blabbing about having business principles. Are those so called "principles meant to be at the detriment of your customers? Rubbish! ......See as the thing the pain me sef! ....For your information, Business ethics or principles. If you will, are not STATIC but rather AMENABLE to suit individual situations and clients needs.

If the likes of Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, etc are still advertising and looking to open new markets, I see no reason for your brash attitude just because you own a shop in Lagos. I was particularly disgusted with your refusal to offer a mere apology to the Op as any smart and astute business man would in the circumstances. albeit after several entreaties by other loyal customers. You are a very annoying person that people should avoid...... 'Busy' my Nyansh...... Even Dangote de pick calls. Continue forming, we don see your type many....

The funny thing is that, this thread has opened my eyes to take note of your moniker. I make bold to say,
you should not be trusted. If you cannot handle business on this scale and give optimum satisfaction to your clients then I'm sorry, you are plain INCOMPETENT. We are so used to being treated badly in this country that we take most things for granted. I'm ranting because I believe that injustice anywhere, is Injustice everywhere. Who knows? It may be my turn tomorrow.

Having said that....@ SmartchoiceNGR I am very proud of you for standing for the truth despite the intimidation by many here. You fought for justice and stood against mediocrity and nonchalance. You are somebody I will like to know in person....

@ kufie, you displayed exemplary patience and understanding. 'na man u be' most people can't endure seeing their 1kobo in another's possession but will be here spewing rubbish. Pls run from online transactions, most Nigerians are very insincere. (sorry to the genuine ones)

@ luxy44 who adviced luvinhubby to deduct 5k before refund, hear this: You are a ROGUE, and a very fraudulent and insincere person. You will never end well.....

Finally, I feel relieved to have gotten this off my chest. I will sleep better tonight....#peaceout!

When you get to Lagos. Sit down and let them be trying AC compressor up and down. The issue most likely isn't with the compressor.

Be guided that once you buy a new one and install there is no refund. Before you come and open a thread.

I didn't at any point on this thread state that my car had a problem sir. Old compressor worked fine. I had a good reason to replace which is completely unknown to you thereby making your contribution pointless.

The car is in my possession and I'm quite sure I know what I'm doing. Thank you sir.

My bad....

I thought you needed a compressor to be replaced. If it wasn't bad then the issue wasn't the compressor....

You also mentioned the car not being yours.

I am talking as a layman here. if you replaced a part twice over and issue persists then you look at something else.

problem may not be the compressor but the technician. There are very few good ac technicians. If you want one of the best, seek out mosbus. Good work doesn't come cheap, but this one is moderate.

Definetly a case of very poor Uyo technician, the op owes luvinhubby a well deserved apology.
