I think i need to address this silly and childish false allegation

I have been here for 8yrs with this ID and anybody that frequent this section knows that i don't need another ID to say anything different.

Why do i need 2 IDs to post something in a section i have been moderating since 2012?

Don't you think its silly and quiet frankly ridiculous to suggest that i will be operating 2 IDs, with one calming to live and work in USA and another claiming to live and work in the UK? Does that make any bloody sense to any of you?

What is Twoods saying with his ID that you think i can't say with mine? That i need to get another ID to enable me to say?

I challenge any of you to provide any shred of evidence to back up your allegation because i will not you to tarnish my image here.

I'm giving you 72hrs to do that else i will revisit this issue again.

Someone cannor play with you again. Your body too de hot jare.

I am 100% sure that the people claiming that you are the same persons as Twoods deep inside in their hearts knows that is a very Big lie!

All I see is them trying to get you to find unnecessary and uncalled faults with the way Twoods responds to posts on the forum.

Justwise, please no need to stoop so low going back and forth with some people here trying to prove yourself or with those who find hearing the bitter truth too painful to accept.

Madam Petdaughter, why can't you let this issue rest? What gives you the right to decide on who is cautioned or not? If his 'toxicity' affects you then skip his post. If you're unhappy about anyone's post, 'wakapass'. You halted your fight a while ago cos you had no partner and then returned when Nerf had something to say. I'm sure a lot of people here have their reservations about Twoods but will rather focus on the reason the came here in the 1st instance. Abeg we are not here because of Twoods let's read something useful, thank you.

Hello ikesim -

We do not comment on chances for visa issuance in individual cases. We are here to discuss qualifications for a visa. One of the requirements for most non-immigrant visas is that the applicant have strong ties outside the United States which will compel them to return to their home after their temporary visit. Someone who has the strong tie of their spouse living in the United States will need to have equally strong ties outside the United States.

thanks for the reply

In the spirit of giving back (Don't you just love that line)

DW (& MIL) flew Qatar @ 33 weeks + 4 days with Medif (Submitted via their email 5 days before and approval confirmed on phone), Port Health & Doctor's Report.

The Flight was smooth all through but no hotel accommodation was given MIL for the 9 hour stopover in Doha...so both DW & MIL paid 50 USD each to get access into the lounge to eat, rest and shower there.

Fast forward to the Atlanta
POE experience....(Visa was B1/B2 that DW obtained for a vacation last year which DW & I went for...she wasn't pregnant at the time, and this was clearly stated at her visa interview)

DW - Hello...Good afternoon (handed over her passport as well as her mum's)

CBP - How are you today? Travelling together with your sister?

DW - No, she's my mum...

CBP - Really? She doesn't look old enough to be your mum...

DW - (chuckling) She's over 60...

CBP - what do you have there? (he noticed she was carrying a clear file)

DW - I'm actually here for childbirth so I brought along my correspondence with my doctor, the hospital and the US embassy as well as payment receipt(we had paid the hospital bill online)

CBP - Let me have them... (she handed them over to him and he started perusing them and got to the point where he saw that the actual hospital bill was $14400 but that she was entitled to a 75% discount if we paid at once bringing my bill down to $3600...)
So how much exactly are you paying?

DW: $3600...since I made the payment at once, I got the discount...

CBP - is there any other payment yet to be made?

DW- yes, my doctors fee which is to be made at my first appointment is well as the payment for the labs and paediatrician...

CBP - How do you plan to pay those bills?

DW - I have cash with me as well as my cards

CBP - How much do you have with you?

DW - $ 9350

CBP - Got that right there with you?

DW - Yes (she immediately started making moves to bring out the cash from her handbag but he said she shouldn’t bother)

CBP- Where would you be staying?

DW - With my husband's uncle and his family...

CBP - So when is your due date?

DW - Dec. 20

CBP - Oh really?! My son was also due on Dec. 20 but came on the 15th...

DW - Wow... I won't mind that as well (she also desires 15th actually)

CBP - So how long are you staying?

DW - 3 months.. To return January ending

CBP - Really?! If I were you, I would stay much longer... (Trick Question? Who knows)

DW - I have to get back to work and my airline allows babies that young fly...

CBP - For me, it doesn't matter what the doctor, the airline or work says... I would stay as long as I want....
So I'm giving you till May just in case you want to stay longer (so he stamped her passport and gave her the usual 6months permit...he stamped same for her mum).

DW - Thank you so much though I won't be staying that long...

CBP - Do have a good day...

DW - You too... Thank you so much

Off to Agric
Her beans were put in some kind of sieve only for one miserable dead weevil to show up o...hence it was seized.
Kolanuts for a relation were allowed but every nut was cracked open o.
All others were allowed (Egusi, Dry Fish, Elubo etc lol - all labelled and in separate nylon packs)

DW & MIL are now chilling and counting down.

Praise God! ...and immeasurable thanks to all who have contributed to this platform, making it what it is.

Mr.Justwise wehdone o!
Continue to show just how Nigerian you are. You delete posts simply because you have contrary opinion. The same oppressiveness we complain of our leaders, and you somehow think you are better. If you are not Twoods then you must be twins to think it is your duty to fight his "battles" instead of just moderating this forum.

Hello gudday,

I am new here, had our b1 b2 interview on 18th nov we were denied. Purpose of visit Is to have our baby in the USA, applied for another interview on the 22nd. After the interview VO asked to drop our documents for further verification, submitted my call to bar certificate, letter from NBa warri branch, bank statements,my hubby's company registration documents, hospital correspondence and dr correspondence,. that all the VO asked for, and she asked us to go with our passports if they are needed mail will be sent to ask asking us to courier them.

My hubby got mail to come pick up our documents and also stating that the passport been returned is his quoting his passport number and location vi Lagos.

I also tracked our application status it says visa denied.

I tracked the passport numb it says visa granted passport ready for collection

We are confused, has anyone been in this position?

I think you should pick up the documents and check what's there. Whatever you find there will determine the kind of advice you get. Good luck

Its not my job or part of my responsibilities here to feed you with info, some of those companies mentioned in that post used to place an ad here then they stopped and started using members here to get clients for them.

A simply google search will give you list of accommodations close to the hospital you want to use.

justwise & all the mamas that has contributed to this forum, una well-done. I have been following this thread over a year hopping one day I will also try this missionary journey, so, now is the time after plenty talk convincing Dh we can do it without the help of any agent that was billing us 800k & 2m respectively when I wanted to have my second child, I say for wetin, I rather invest that money on business. So, after reading the whole process from pt1-5, have decided to go through the whole process myself.
So please, what I need now is just Dr faghohun phone numbers or email, the ones I saw on their site is not connecting. Thank you

Hi @semilore12
MIL's ticket (bought based on when she got the visa- about a week prior to departure) was said to be a "promo" ticket despite being far more expensive than DW's ...and so her ticket didn't qualify her for accommodation.

Hello, you should focus on tracking your DS160 confirmation number. That completely shows the application result or else a miracle happens.

Lol. I have a huge network of extended family in the US - siblings, in-laws, cousins in every part of the country. Most citizens. All hustling their butts off and living from pay check to pay check. Some college educated some not.

Not one of them can or will even dream of paying the cash sums Nigerians pay. Abeg leave story.

And if it's true that the hospitals actually pass the bills on to the govt, I still don't think the people on this thread are the right target for your venom.

You have been here long enough to know that most people on this thread are not your average Nigerian and actually want to do what's right.

Speak for people you know.. You can't generalize just by knowing some low life

Apply for dropbox, however you will likely be called for an interview since you will have indicated in the application that you wish to go have a baby in the US, but you might get lucky! I think you'll find all the info you need on this thread.
