Hi house,
Oh..and hi Mr Justwise. I need advise on this pls. I am thinking (not sure yet to be quiet honest ) of applying for a 6 months visit visa. However, my case is a bit complicated. I studying in the UK years back for 2 years; was a teen back then; was sponsored by my parents too. I overstayed my student visa back then becos my parents had thought that they could renew for me while I was there at the UK Home Office without having to travel back, i had already overstayed by the time I got a feedback that i had to come back to naija to renew. I travelled back, tried to renew in 2012 forgot to mention on my additional info section that i had overstayed. I was obviously denied and was told that i didn't state the fact that i overstayed and that future applications may be refused based on this. I got my UK immigration solicitor to write to the Emnassy and got a reply that the refusal has been reviewed again and that I could RE-APPLY again. I was completely fed up and decided to finish my study here, start a business etc. I'm a successful interior designer now with my own company. I've traveled to S.A twice since then, i have been to the U.S. and still have a valid visa etc. This is 5 years later and now I'm thinking of applying for a visit to the U.K. What do you think @justwise and co?

You can re-apply and makesure to declare that you overstayed while in UK,and also that the agent who re-applied on your behalf failed to declare you as an overstayer and that is why you where refused. Lastly convince them at the Embassy or interview that you will abide to the Immigration law & return back home as been stated on your visa application.

The University will send you the documents and your CAS number. You must pay the tuition fees, book for an hostel/hotel then apply for your Visa & you need to take all the documents to the Embassy for your visa interview. Your school fees is always secure whether an applicant passes his or her interview or not.
Is advisable you book for an hostel because is cheaper than hotel
Best of luck

You can do it through online banking.
They call it Child ISA acct. You will not be able to withdraw the money until the child is 18yrs. Her birth details/passport number or nationality is require.
Is less than 30mins to get it done through online banking

2bedroom is perfectly ok since a baby is on the way.

Since you are going to make the application next August why are you counting only on 6months? Your salary is ok though, at the end of financial year you will be earning more than £24K

Thanks for reply justwise, I have another question. When could I start my application for wife visa ?

Thanks

Provide them & try to make research about the school because Home office are closing some Colleges that falls below standard. Will you be allow to work if not is advisable to find other countries except you can be fully sponsor by your guardians for your monthly expenses because no one gives free accomodation in UK

The school is Nottingham Trent University,. Will i be able to work? I don't get you boss, i thought everyone with tier 4 visa will be able to work 20hrs/wk?

I am not asking for free accommodation, i am only saying how much does hostel or offcampus accommodation costs?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by missoredipe(f): 4:08pm On Dec 04, 2017
Hello, I studied at Nottingham Trent University but that was in 2015.

Yes, you are allowed to work for 20hrs during term time and fulltime during holidays.

I stayed off-campus at St.Anns area and I paid about £300 pcm bills inclusive while my other friends got cheaper accomodation.

Dont pay for any accommodation until you see the place & FYI Nottingham is a great city.

Yes, that's correct.

I paid the same thing in 2014 (though my father paid full tuition) but I got the same email before we made payment.

Your chances of getting a visa is very slow because you don't have any tie to Nigeria

Not all students on tier 4visa have work permits.
If you are going to the University then you will have work permit. Most private Colleges in UK are without work permits. You can get an accommodation of £350 per month or hostel of £500 & above depending where you will be living
