Last week i was in Usen sef....lol...The Alawure of Usen does not call himself King of Usen kingdom. He is subject to the Oba of Benin. What these ijaws dont know is that In Edo south, the oba can create any dukedom and make anybody an enogie and the person will be recognized by Edo state govt and he will start answering the title HRH. Edo state govt cant create any title in Edo south without the consent of the Oba of Benin. Talking about other parts of Edo state lets sat Edo central where we have Esans...allmost all their Onojies were created by the Oba of Benin. If you go to Edo North we have few of them created by the Oba but by the British example is the Otaru of Auchi yet these persons cannot stand shoulder to shoulder with the Oba of Benin. There is a reason He is the Permanent Chairman of the Traditional Rulers council in Edo state. There is a reason he is the Only one that uses the title HRM in Edo state. If the ijaws really wanted peace they would have met with him to just help them not warning him on newspapers. They should ask the Pere of Gbaramatu to come and make Edo state govt recognize one pere in Olodiama. The Oba would use state resources to deal with them without even starting a tribal conflict. One thing they don't know is that the Oba will not openly fight them or call them his enemies. The Oba doesn't do that, he will just frustrate them that's all. The Ijaws can move and join their kins in Gbaramatu or elsewhere.....The Oba doesn't declare somebody an enemy in the open because if he does...trust me even goats will be your enemy.

Can I ask U smthing , is it Oba of Benin or Oba of Edo ?
Just remember the Ijaw empire is way Bigger than the Benin one though less popular . .They cover up to 5 states and have thier own state . The Benin people do not have thier own state yet . I don't think the Esan people will agree with you.
