if someone graduated with a 2:1 in social science courses e.g sociology, political science
and has an IT certification.

what do you think he/she should do so as to better his/her lot .

NB: he/she intends to enrol for a masters in Ireland, can he switch to an IT masters or what should he/she do as i have learnt Ireland is different from Canada. thanks

Can't remember if your question has been answered. But definitely yes you can

Its worthwhile to note that your SOP to get an admission offer is slightly different from the one you're required to submit for visa application.

Emphasis should be on why you've choosen Ireland , skills you stand to gain or acquire and of what positive impact it will contribute to your home country upon completion of your program..don't forget to express that you'll be returning to Nigeria.

thank you...would look into and hopefully send to you for cross checking.

For those asking about English Test Exams...
Please note that it's not all schools that requires English Test. ...but it's now compulsory for Visa application...
For PTE.....minimum score is 36... I don't know for others....
this info is from their embassy cos I met with Griffith Representative from Ireland in Sheraton Hotel Lagos. So keep it in mind for interested candidates

However, from the look for things a few Universities are taking exemption.

PTE- 60 Overall and no less than 59 in each exam band preferably.
IELTS @ 6.5 for postgraduate degrees and 6.0 for each band preferably.

Its a very tricky one. My org was in a seminar earlier this year where a rep from the consular stated IELTS was a standard requirement.
However, from the look for things a few Universities are taking exemption.

Its a risk that won't be worth taking in 2018. As other universities have stated writing the Irish embassy in Nigeria to reinforce this.

I always advise my clients to try and fulfill all righteousness.

I'm referring to Visa Application not School application...
as a matter of fact...I scored 56... did the exam following week of registration for PTE cos I needed it for visa application. ... well it's gud to be on a safer side sha

Hello,

Nurses are really in high demand especially in Ireland, UK, US, Canada and Australia.

You can actually apply directly to Canada or Australia for PR or the UK for work permit or Ireland for 1 year Masters and thereafter your work permit.

All these involves funds , so its left to you to decide how much you can afford to pursue either of the options available. Getting a well paid job or work permit in Ireland is not difficult.

Cheers
