Pls segzy are u sure cos ptad madam never said anything and still maintain dat after d conclusion of dsc verification for nitel would be announced so let wait or confirm want u said frm her twitter account so as 2 be sure
that's the true position.nitel is already scheduled for January. I think she initially thought it will be possible before end of the year but not anymore bearing in my mind DSC verification ends by 28nov and they need a week interval before the last phase of core civil servant verification which hold btw 11 & 16 dec and also they will be having Xmas &new yr break. Anyway,u may still do ur finding cos anything is possible but Jan 15 is on their timetable for nitel/mtel

@brosiye: gudafternun pls what happens to the disengaged?
Re: Nitel Pensioners Should Come In by brosiye99(m): 1:41pm On Nov 29, 2017
@obindomanya: I believe the disengaged will also be paid some outstanding benefits from the 2006 disengagement in which some payments have not been done by BPE and OAGF e.g. insurance etc.. However, i know that disengaged staff that were not pensionable (10 years service) will not be entitled to the monthly pension but those that had spent at least 10 years and above will be entitled to monthly pension. The sure thing is that it is only PTAD that will inform everyone at the point of verification of their status and what their entitlements an outstanding are. Everyone that submitted documents to the portal a few months back should just show up for verification.

this message was copied from a chat group....

Sequel to this quagmire about eligibility, etc I just called a member (NAME WITHELD) of the data collection and collation team for clarifications, concerns etc .
These are the responses.
1. Another publication will be out soon
2. All Ex-Nitel/Mtel staff is expected to have documents on Serial number 1-3
3. If retirement letter (sn 4) is to be used then ONLY RETIREES are ELIGIBLE.
4. He said disengagement letter shall be treated in lieu of retirement letter.
5. Arrange all documents or letters serially from letter of employment/Gazette,realignment, confirmation, promotion and disengagement.
6. You can not have letter of disengagement and retirement at the same time. Just like birth certificate and sworn affidavit. Either of these is acceptable.
7. He said let all go when it time. Then we will all know the Sharp of things
8. He said there is still meeting to smoothen the process, logistics etc

If we all observe, we would have discovered that same requirements published for DSC is what we have here.

PTAD presumed all requirements are same without exception. Not knowing some were disengaged.

Truly there will be another publication which will bears the venue and dates attached.
