I haven't done that before, which Studienkolleg did you get their acceptance? I got Leibniz Universitat Hannover

Hi ibnkokumo, were you able to cancel and re-book successfully?

Jigba do you know if one can use a studienkolleg entrance-test letter to apply for a visa?

Sure

When did you book the appointment?
I'm asking cause you are supposed to cancel the appointment at least till two days before the date. After that, you can't book appointment until after a few months

I actually book an appointment for January because there was no appointment available for December as at that time...after checking again, I saw that appointment is available for December, so I want to cancel the January and book for December.
How long will I be able to rebook..I don't want to loose at both ends... But I will be glad if I can reschedule for December

You can cancel this minute and rebook the next minute. I've done it. Just make sure your desired date of appointment is available before cancelling

You can cancel and rebook whenever, as long as there's available date.

The only condition is that you must cancel at least 1 week before your booked date, if not you will face temporary suspension.

So if your date is January you're good.
Go ahead, cancel and rebook.

I'm not sure I get what you mean, but are you asking what the documents (@bolded) mean?
If that's the case, I don't typically like to direct people to read the previous threads because it's rather bulky, but in your case you should. These are the most basic information you can find with hardly 30 minutes of research. Heck, 5 minutes of google search can clarify some.
At the very least, I expect everyone to know what CV and motivation letter are.

Then again I might have misunderstood you.

Which school is that?
It depends in how strict their admission process is
And generally, manipulation of documents generally renders a document invalid.

I'll only advice you to use the documents if you've other schhols that you're sure of, but if you dont, it's not advisable especially if the course is a soughtafter one and the school a top school. You're application will just be tossed aside.

My 2 pence- book another appointment for certification. It will cost you nothing.

I will not be manipulating the documents, that's why I will not ne detaching the "wrong" application form myself. I will submit it like that and include the actual application form.
It is not the only school I am applying to though.
About booking another appointment, I think i will have to pay for it this time, I have already done the 3 certification that is free.
Or, if i book another appointment, will they certify another set of 3 documents for free for me again?

It's a little flexible if certification is done for Uni-assist.I needed to certify my documents way back before application portals opens for the schools . I printed out an application form for one Uni-assist school whose application portal was opened and then delete the applications form online . I used it to certify my documents . This documents including the application form were stapled together and the certification stamp touches all. My brother I removed the application form in such a way that the stamp area is untouched. The back of the documents still had the name of the school written and stamped by the consulate. I didn't bother myself about it. The documents were received and uni-assist have finished evaluating my documents and have forwarded electronically to my first school.

Yea, I think its more flexible with Uni-assst.
But i think schools would accept it too. They just need to be certain that the copies u r submitting has been certified by a competent authority. Even if the name written at the back is for a different school, I don't think it will mean anything, since everything is certified in same way.

Its an embassy certification, they respect it more and I believe they will accept it even if it was not originally done for the particular school.

Good evening my bosses. I made a research on schools that offer M.A international relations, I came up with Hertie school of governance which offers M.A international affairs. I checked the requirements and it is stated that except the candidate is a native speaker of English or was entirely taught in English for his degree, he would need to present a test of English language. Also, it is stated that there are scholarships opportunity for those that applied on or before Feb 1. My questions are these
1. is Hertie school of governance a good school?
2. Presenting a test of English language isn't compulsory since I was taught in English for my degree. Do u think this would be a Barrier for getting scholarship?
nobody is attending to my questions

I think it will be free in as much as it's not up to four documents at a time. Just try.

Your number one question, most of us here are applicants in Nigeria. We probably don't have idea about the school. ( you should google research yourself)

Your number two question, since test of English is not compulsory, that shouldn't be an issue.

Please every school in Germany is better than Nigeria and Africa schools.
You need to get a letter of English proficiency from your last School. It will attest that all your former study is in English language.
Scholarship depends on the qualification of other applicants who may need the scholarship.

No, once you certify 3 sets or documents, you will have to pay a naira equivalent of €10. I think #3600 for each set of documents you certify.

Please I need various opinions and example if possible.
Is it necessary for newly weds without kids to fill married in visa application. We both got admission and want to leave same time with student visa. Note that I am still using my maiden name in my passport n all docs, We don't want anything to hinder our visa approval.
1. Is marriage a disadvantage for student visa?
2. Is it wise to say "my spouse will join me soon on student visa"?
3. Is it better to say my spouse will be in Nigeria for now.

Pls who can relate or understands my worry, what do u think?
am sure u wont be asked any question based on marriage so i will advice solo run make all man answer him papa name

1. it depends on what you want in the future if you want your spouse to join you in future and if you are truly married then yes state that you are married remember don't lie because of future it can affect your status later like tax of married student is more higher than single student single student are on tax 1 and married or tax 3 or 4..
2. Nop you don't need to say anything about that just tell them she is working and she as a business bla bla bla it give you upper chance as they will see you will truly come back to meet your family.

just my advice

Scholarships are close to impossible especially when you have not started the program in Germany because the tuition is already free and give most grants to Ph.D. students. but am sure TOEFL gives you upper chance in getting admission I can remember I wrote the English text then and applied to 8 schools and 10 courses (don't mind me I was desperate and got 7 admissions in 6 schools.
