My take on indicators is do what works for you, something that can make you money. If it's indicator fine, if it's naked chart, fine too.

I use 1 or 2 indicators sometimes, BUT they don't tell me when to buy or sell, PRICE itself tell me when to buy or not. I like to look at price in 3D/ 360 0 not in 2D.

That's why I don't say I have a System, I have a Strategy/Methodology, pretty robust, so I can trade when it's trending or when it's ranging. A lot of different ways to skin the cat.

AUDUSD at a possible reversal area on the daily, but the weekly has a strong sell wick. This suggests it might still go down before a possible reversal. However I will wait for at least 2 4hrs candle close to either buy.

manually closed one position (usdchf), the other hasnt hit my stops at 0.99153

So far this week, have taken a good buy on NU. Might take another buy for a possible fill of the previous day wick at 0.69130 because momentum is still bullish on the weekly. As always, higher time frames prevails over lower time frames.

It gave a buy signal on 30 - minutes chart at 2:30 am (0.7542)

Price might rise until 0.7621 where the next re -assessment will take place.

Thanks bro for the comment. I just hope and pray we all should be doing this, sharing thoughts and insights about the market rather than bickering about who trades bigger account or trades a demo or live. In the end, what makes anyone a good trader in the number of pips made (whether demo or live), not even the money.

So far, my gratitude goes to everyone here meshpips (Iv known you here from way back), redsox11, currentprice, Feshizzy, wamiikechukwu, Tunderr (she gave me a funny name, i hope she takes it back wink smiley cheesy tongue) nennin, wickyyolo, bigbasho and many more I didnt mention. Thanks for the insights so far, I hope you/we all bring in more here. I pray those that left here do come back, lets all learn together.

At meshpips, I saw the signal you mentioned but I would like to see a good rejection candles like the one in this 4hrs chart (see the highlighted with yellow in that 4hrs chart), before I am convinced its an actual reversal. Either way, we are both right with our decisions.

I stumbled on this EA, I already got it though not yet working as promised but they have agreed to set it up for a fee the result is crazy ( not yet on my account, but I will update my own account soon).

Dont get me wrong, I love easy trading and I am also getting mine ready but this caught my attention.

I am hoping this works : No indicators, uses IQ feeds to initiate trades. Looks a little like latency arbitrage but I am not sure it is exactly

I employ a very similar strategy but using higher timeframes to judge trends. Fish for buys around support in an uptrend and fish for sells around resistance in a downtrend. I get fewer trade entries but higher quality.

People are chasing this forex thing by fire by force because they have little capital and need to make huge money. That EA is just a gambling EA. Take what it gives and keep withdrawing. If it crashes, fund again and start afresh.

However, I wonder why people have to through that stress. Go to many of the top ranked PAMM, MAM and similar services and you will find that the most backed traders make between 5-15% a month. Some of them don't make more than 50% a year yet they are controlling millions of dollars.

Instead of taking high profile risks and blowing lots of small to medium sized accounts in the process, wouldn't you rather focus on getting a consistently profitable strategy with small drawdowns, then sell your intellectual property on these platforms and get backed by lots of people looking for where to put money? When you know that making 7% profit in a month can put a lot of money in your account in terms of profit sharing, won't you be more relaxed about trading?

Below is a trader that is backed by investors. Take note of how many investors and amount he has been backed with, and then see his own capital. Then take a look at his monthly returns and think.

You're damn right Buddy.

A system that takes every signal of buy and sell is a failed system. Whether you are using indicators or pure price action with naked charts, a buy within a downtrend market will quickly reverse. And a sell within an uptrend market will quickly reverse at a blink of an eye.

Even trading within a trend, a false signal will occur during the exhaustion phase.

i once had an EA which i build using various ideas, it gives like 10-20% monthly depending on the market for that month and losses acquired.

I felt if i could add more logic i can increase its performance. I did and ruined everything too bad i couldn't return it back to its initial stage because i did so many changes to its source code that i forgot how it was before.

That was how i learnt that if it's not broken don't fix it.

Few months later i read that the great George soro makes approximately 29% annually for its hedge fund.

Can't blame you because normally you'd want to make a living out of your 3 to 5 digit accounts as fast as possible. If you can recreate that strategy somehow and show net profits for 3-6 months, you could be handling excellent 6 figures in 18 months.

Isn't it funny how people are making 100% in a week but still not anywhere near George Soros? Lmao.
