It would be repugnant of d governor if he is aware of all the bull shiit being meted out in his state n communities by the Irrational , ill disciplined and uncivilized character of the all draconian notorious wing of most police unit in his state and is doing notting about it or planning to listening to d plight of d people whom which their community they invade. N worse of all wld be stewpid of him if he is d pepertrator of the whole chaos with out cause, or reasons behind watever , but first get those women released back to their kids. They are more logical way of handling women... N with dat last arrest of the women, d police cld entirely or possible be having whole families in a cell...Nigerian police?.. Is draconian way always d immediate answer...? Na for community women dem go get power quick..unless dey started destroying or exhibiting danger... Wey shekau?

buhari isn't close to the people as I thought he would before 2015 election

he's far to the people cries and pain. wonder why he do say Nigerians aren't patient even when people are committing suicide, this heartless man still buttress on patient with me. why should a single man hold more than 170million on Ransome or is true that majority of Fulani's are sadist?

if buhari can't pretend to play politics atleast to show he cares in his first tenure then I can imagine what his second tenure would look like

can Florida, las Vegas, Michigan face a threat from a federal body security personnel and the president would not respond? thought Nigeria Democratic system requires interference of president in state matters

You are right about the right to protest.

However, there's recent history of arrest of illegal miners in His.

FAQ--- Why were they arrested?

Answer---- They didn't seek NPF approval before staging the protest.

"The issue of protest and the role of the police are already a settled matter in Nigeria despite the fact that the police continue to flout the law. In ANPP V IGP (2004) the Federal High Court declared police permit (for rallies and meetings) illegal and unconstitutional. In IGP V ANPP (2008) 12 WRN 65 the Court of Appeal affirmed the judgment and held that rallies and demonstrations are part of the fundamental right to freedom of expression which cannot be curtailed by the police. In view of the settled state of the law the FCT High Court did not hesitate to annul the ban on rallies convened by the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) in 2014."

You do not need any approval from the Police before embarking on protests. It is a fundamental right, the courts have made pronouncements to that effect.

I understand how you're pained that SE hates brown roof on their soil. But before your BP goes gaga, this is a village near Abakaliki. You'd see beautiful mansions encroaching to take over, which is part of their protest----that urbanization/mineral exploitation is enveloping their natural habitat. Afonjas and Igbos are entirely not the same people, despite being black even though you guys are very dark grin grin
