If the almajiri chooses to do so, that's his cuppa tea. We stand with our Igwe.

That "almajiri" is abroad trained, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.. I don't think you understand what that means.

What achievements does your igwe have? Most likely a school cert fail or highest university/ poly dropout who just sits his irrelevant ass down in his palace all year round.

What if she is Igbo?

Must she follow your biased politicians blindly in the path of destruction? NO

So shut up. It's a democracy, you can't choose or force anything on her.

In order to cover up the mess Mr.Presido did in Anambra when he refuse to pay courtesy visit to Obi of Onitsha but rather expected him to come and see him.We Igbo's condemned Mr.Presidents act and cited that he never did such to Sultan of sokoto,Emir of Kano,Oni of Ife,Oba of lagos etc.
Now PMB realized his mistake and that Igbo's are not happy for him not to respect Obi of Onitsha,he has yo go and arrange and told Emir of Kano to please come to airport and welcome him so that the mess he did in Anambra can be covered up as many Nigerians will now see it that "Emir of Kano went to airport to welcome PMB,.....so what's the big deal about it that...Obi of Onitsha did not".. Bla bla bla. When did Emir of Kano started going to airport and welcome president?.PMB is trying to be smart but we are smarter, so forget about all these politicking.

On point

Why Did The Emir Of Kano Go To The Airport To Welcome The President?

Sometime ago, we were regaled on how it wasn't a custom for a King to leave his palace to welcome any visiting Head of State...

Obi of Onitsha literally disrespected the office of president, when he came calling in Anambra State last month...some people justified it and claimed An emir is not expected to leave his palace for a visiting president, then why should an Obi do that..

Anyway this picture says otherwise...

Silly Lauretta Onochie and mischief.

Please show us where Emir of Kano received Jonathan at the airport. Abi Jonathan was not a President? Silly propagandist !

In any case, Buhari came to Kano which has an airport and Emir lives a few meters away. The airport and Emir's palace are connected by good roads built by FG.

Now Buhari landed in Enugu state and the Obi of Onitsha lives in Anambra state. The normally 2 hours journey from Onitsha to Enugu on a good road now takes 9 hours on the horrible road. You would want the Obi to endure such ordeal without considering his health. Why didnt Buhari drive on Enugu-Onitsha expressroad as other previous Presidents did when visiting Anambra instead of flying a helicopter as he did to Anambra?

BUHARI himself knows only those who dont love their life will be mad enough to drive on Enugu -Onitsha expressway just to shake hands with a President on his way to Ebonyi state. Even worse is to do that for a president who considers his people as enemy and takes special joy in frustrating federal projects in the zone

Obi no go airport. Go and beat him. That is how we set rubbish precedents and later claim whites are our problems. Nigeria ought to be a federation, at least so we call it, people don't have to behave the same if not all this sycophancy, which is not leading us anywhere.

Emirates and first class chiefs or Obas are appointed by the king makers but ratified by the governor. If a governor can go welcome the president, why can't the Emir or obas do the same? angry na yeye de worry dem

All these insults APC are heaping on Igbo traditional rulers and leaders will end in 2019.

In fact, i know in 2018 the same Buhari will suddenly "respect" the Obi of Onitsha and visit him in his palace just to deceive the naive and silly into voting for him. After which they are labeled 5% and dumped again.

If they fail to learn, na dem sabi.

You keep jumping from thread to thread just to mastur.bate on Igbo threads yet you hardly makes sense. So Sudan where Sanusi studied islamic affairs is now abroad? No Emir or Oba is as educated or enligntened like the Obi of Onitsha who seats on the board of several companies including MNC's. We dont give our royal stools to agberos like you have in Lagos and elsewhere.

Obi of Onitsha was standing up in your pix because he is taller than the other kings sitting down. Assuming he sat down those kings sitting down will not appear on the picture.
