Thanks for these. But 2 quick ones it the offer only to Houston and how do I book online or their office

I saw the deal on travelstart, also checked wakanow and it was the same thing, so I booked via wakanow. I am going to Houston, so am not sure about other states.

You guys should keep your eyes on emirates, they might start their own soon.

For 2 adult and 1 infant, I got it for 550k.

I hope one will be able to add baby to this promo ticket when coming back?

I confirmed before paying and was told it won't be an issue. My last trip I booked via wakanow and when it was time to add my baby, called the airline and it was done without any hassle. By God's grace it will be smooth sailing again this time.

Nobody09 please buy your ticket to El -Paso before you travel. Its safer for your POE.
Don't wait till you get to New York to buy it. Simple Advice and have evidence of your accommodation in New York and El-Paso

Maybe because - Hers was 2 adult and an infant, infant's fee is just a fraction while yours should be higher if your children are older than 2years. They have same entitlements like adults_ 2pcs of 23kg, a seat and stuffs.

quote author=Adedoyin2108 post=62924573]Hello ladies

Thought to share my POE experience. I travelled on Tuesday at 35 weeks using Lufthansa airline. Chose Lufthansa cos the layover in Frankfurt was bearable, about 3 hours. 24 hours before the flight, I chose a middle aisle seat on their website for maximum comfort. U shd have a copy of your fit to fly doc, the airline requested a copy of mine.
Flight to Frankfurt was smooth, didn’t like the food though. At Frankfurt, I requested for assistance getting to the gate for the flight to Houston. It was a good decision, Frankfurt airport is really massive, the waka alone is enough to induce labour. Lol! One of the immigration officers at Frankfurt asked me a lot of questions but after providing several docs to answer his questions, he tire and let me go.
Frankfurt to Houston was 10hrs 20mins. I didn’t eat the food also but I had crackers sha. At Houston, I requested for a wheelchair. Good decision also, cos the wheelchair queue was much shorter than the regular queue.
I got to the counter
Cbp: what are you coming to the US for?
Me: To give birth
Cbp: what do you do? What does your husband do?
Me: Banking
Cbp: There must be a million bankers in Nigeria.
Me: smiles) not up to a million
Cbp: where’s your husband
Me: he’s coming to join me in 2 weeks
Cbp: how much do you have?
Me: 9k cash
Cbp: do I have any account statements showing the 9k was pulled from your account? You could have borrowed the money
Me: I took that along for my interview in Nigeria but I don’t have it here
Sends me to secondary inspection
After the usual questions
Cbp: how much is your bill and how much do U have
Me: about 5k and I have 9k
Cbp: do you have any other money
Me: yes, my husband does. Told him the figure and he does the conversion
Cbp: do you have any food
Me: yes. Egusi, ogbono n co
Cbp: ok. make sure you pay all your bills and obtain receipts. Take those receipts with u whenever you travel. Do not accept any aid, u don’t qualify for it. When do u plan to leave?
Me: end of January max
Cbp: stamps my passport for 6 months. You are cleared to go.
Didn’t go to Agric. I filled the form given on the plane but they didn’t request for it.
Since I wasn’t familiar with the airport, I didn’t use Uber. I booked on Supershuttle.com from Nigeria. So I went to their stand, confirmed my reservation and waited for the bus. Ride was ok and it was way cheaper than Uber. Since I’m using Dr Xydas, I stayed at InTown suites. But they don’t provide pots, plates etc for cooking. Had to buy.

Was a great experience in all sha.[/quote]

To whom it may concern

LA Passport Agency no longer accepts ds3053 not notarized in the embassy. This is causing a major shake-up to my travel plans.

Pls who has used visa on arrival recently? How long did it take to get approval letter? Cos I've read some posts here recently of people who were complaining that they haven't received any response and their travel dates were close.

who can help me fast track the voa? pls pls...with all the public holidays packed around Christmas, I don't even know how many days we'd be left with after getting the pasport

In the spirit of giving back (Don't you just love that line)

DW (& MIL) flew Qatar @ 33 weeks + 4 days with Medif (Submitted via their email 5 days before and approval confirmed on phone), Port Health & Doctor's Report.

The Flight was smooth all through but no hotel accommodation was given MIL for the 9 hour stopover in Doha...so both DW & MIL paid 50 USD each to get access into the lounge to eat, rest and shower there.

Fast forward to the Atlanta
POE experience....(Visa was B1/B2 that DW obtained for a vacation last year which DW & I went for...she wasn't pregnant at the time, and this was clearly stated at her visa interview)

DW - Hello...Good afternoon (handed over her passport as well as her mum's)

CBP - How are you today? Travelling together with your sister?

DW - No, she's my mum...

CBP - Really? She doesn't look old enough to be your mum...

DW - (chuckling) She's over 60...

CBP - what do you have there? (he noticed she was carrying a clear file)

DW - I'm actually here for childbirth so I brought along my correspondence with my doctor, the hospital and the US embassy as well as payment receipt(we had paid the hospital bill online)

CBP - Let me have them... (she handed them over to him and he started perusing them and got to the point where he saw that the actual hospital bill was $14400 but that she was entitled to a 75% discount if we paid at once bringing my bill down to $3600...)
So how much exactly are you paying?

DW: $3600...since I made the payment at once, I got the discount...

CBP - is there any other payment yet to be made?

DW- yes, my doctors fee which is to be made at my first appointment is well as the payment for the labs and paediatrician...

CBP - How do you plan to pay those bills?

DW - I have cash with me as well as my cards

CBP - How much do you have with you?

DW - $ 9350

CBP - Got that right there with you?

DW - Yes (she immediately started making moves to bring out the cash from her handbag but he said she shouldn’t bother)

CBP- Where would you be staying?

DW - With my husband's uncle and his family...

CBP - So when is your due date?

DW - Dec. 20

CBP - Oh really?! My son was also due on Dec. 20 but came on the 15th...

DW - Wow... I won't mind that as well (she also desires 15th actually)

CBP - So how long are you staying?

DW - 3 months.. To return January ending

CBP - Really?! If I were you, I would stay much longer... (Trick Question? Who knows)

DW - I have to get back to work and my airline allows babies that young fly...

CBP - For me, it doesn't matter what the doctor, the airline or work says... I would stay as long as I want....
So I'm giving you till May just in case you want to stay longer (so he stamped her passport and gave her the usual 6months permit...he stamped same for her mum).

DW - Thank you so much though I won't be staying that long...

CBP - Do have a good day...

DW - You too... Thank you so much

Off to Agric
Her beans were put in some kind of sieve only for one miserable dead weevil to show up o...hence it was seized.
Kolanuts for a relation were allowed but every nut was cracked open o.
All others were allowed (Egusi, Dry Fish, Elubo etc lol - all labelled and in separate nylon packs)

DW & MIL are now chilling and counting down.

Praise God! ...and immeasurable thanks to all who have contributed to this platform, making it what it is.

Long post alert
In Spirit of giving back,I have been following this thread for some time now and want to thank everyone that has contributed to this thread. God bless you all. now to the business,I have been going to the US since 2010 but My DW and first child, got thier first visa in september 2015 for visiting but she used it give birth to our 2nd child in november 2015, we never knew she can declare child birth until we found this thread. We used dr F, paid all bills and got zero balance. we used same visa for vacation in april 2017.
she and my first child did dropbox in october but was called for followup interview which they attended on 16th october 2017 but was denied on ground that she used her visiting visa to give birth in 2015. below is her transcript:

VO: Good morning,passport pls
DW: Good morning and hands over the passport
VO: how many kids do u have
DW: 2
VO: why are u not applying with ur second child
DW: because i had him in the usa
(guess he wanted to know if she will lie that she didnt give birth in the us)
VO: so u got ur visa in septmber 2015 for visiting and used it to give birth in november 2015?
DW: yes.
VO: so it means u lied during your last interview?
DW: she answered that she told them she was pregnant but was undecided if she was going to give birth in the Us
VO: did you pay all your bills and do u have proof
DW: Yes and she handed over all her payment reciept and zero balance from dr f and other service providers
VO: after going through the reciept, he said i can see you paid all your fees and its not a crime to give birth in america provided you can afford it. but u have to let us know ur intention during your interview
VO: so are u pregnant now
DW: she answered yes that she will be due in may 2018,
VO: so are you using this visa for birthing
DW: she answered that she has not decided on that yet, that the visa was for xmas holiday first
VO: but thats exactly what you told my colleague 2 years ago. after typing for some seconds, he then handed her over the blue paper and said i cant approve your visa this time.

So that was how DW came back rejected and dejected. I started researching and found this lovely thread and read all the info. we were determined to make things right so we decided to reapply but this time for medical visa. even though my visa expires in June 2018, i decided to also join in the application, and also included my mum. so its was the four of us(MYSELF,MY WIFE,MY MUM AND MY FIRST CHILD) applied this time. We first contacted Dr f and he sent in his correspondent, filled a new form and went for another interview on Thursday December 7th, by 10.30am.
we where directed to one black america lady and below is our transcript.

VO: Good morning, Passport Please
Me: Good morning and I gave him the 4 passport
VO: where and why are u going to the us?
Me: we are going for vacation but my wife and my mum will stay back to have our baby.
VO: checked my passport and saw that i still have a valid visa till june next year.
VO: u still have a valid visa u can still use the visa and apply through dropbox when it expires
Me: i know abt that, but am applying now cos after my 2 weeks vacation in march 2018, I will be going back in june 2018 to help bring back my litle one home, so i want the visa aspect to be sorted out on time.
VO: ok, i get it and excused her self to consult a superior officer on what to do with my valid visa.
VO: she returned and said i will be canceling your valid visa before we proceed with this interview,
Me: ok, no problem
VO: does your wife, child and mother also have a valid visa like yours?
Me: no, my wife and child US visa expired in september 2017 while my mum only has uk visa
VO: so why do u choose to birth in Usa and not other countries you have been to
Me: I replied because US offer daul nationality which others dnt offer and also the medical care in the US is very good
VO: so have u contacted a doctor?
Me: Yes,and handed over dr F correspondence
VO: went through it and asked if we have made any payment
Me: i replied that the doctor doesnt accept pre payment but i have the receipt of our previous delivery and handed it over to her
VO: she took it, went inside to consult another colleaugue, came back and ask if i have a budget sheet for the delivery?
Me: sure, i handed over my budget sheet.
then at this point she was going through my dr correspondence and budget sheet, my son started disturbing that he wants to wee wee.
VO: pls, take him to the toilet, i will be taking some time to document all this on ur profile so that u dnt have any problem at the Point of Entry'
(immediately I heard her talk of POE before even giving us the white pickup form, i became calm cos i knew she has made her decision.)
VO: sir, how long did u say u will spend on the trip and ur second trip, i want to be sure i have it correct on ur profile
Me: 2 weeks on this trip and 2 weeks on the next trip but my wife and mum will stay for 12 weeks.
after typing and updating for abt 7 minutes
VO: Your Visa has been approved, pls make sure u travel with ur previous delivery reciept and pls avoid staying unecessary long period in the US, i know its 6 months they grant at the POE but such long duration flags off alert on our system and he gave me the white paper.
Me. Thank u madam and do have a blessed day.
didnt even ask my wife or my mum anything, not even thier names. I know its just God that did. so second missionary journey Loading. next is ticketing, God bless all that contributed and pls dnt mind my long post
