Therock5555 has tried to sell the books for lower price, let's hear his opinion on how it went sha. I saw when he was trying to do something like that

Ahhh so y‘all finally dragged me back to this section, anyway, the sooner that you realise that writing should be taken as just a hobby and not a marketable venture and that hustling pays, you would remain broke forever.

Ever since i stopped wasting my time here typing all day and night for nothing, my life has become very productive.

I repeat again, until we writers start getting paid for every chapter we post here, then i would drop a story here again.

Everybody wanna read for free, if you like sell your book for ten naira, people would still want free copies.

Those of y‘all still writing here, i hail ooo

Lol funny but true. If you want to make money from writing don't post stories for free here and don't expect to blow from the first. Consistency and patience pays.

Madam i wasted over 3 years of my life writing here and i can assure you that the money i got was not up to 20k

Whether your story sweet pass sugar cane, them no go buy

If you have too much free time, you could write here but if i ever write here again, i might be posting just once a week, anybody that don‘t like it should go and rest.

OK. But even the people that don't post their stories here for free still are not making money. So, I think I would still go with the name recognition I get from posting my stories here, than the peanuts people make from selling on okadabooks or any other platform they sell their books on.

Lol! This got me laughing hard. I wanna ask though, which platform were you selling your books on back then, and how much were you selling them for? Thanks.

Hey guys, on a lighter note, let's talk about how our writing process goes. Do you take anything for ginger/inspiration? wink You know, sometimes when you have writers block and you just have to write, do you take anything or do anything to get your creative juices flowing.

I believe at least 80% of us here are adults, so let's not be shy. smiley. I know some writers listen to music, some take alcohol, some smoke something (you know that thing), some have sex or think about sex, some draw energy from memories of a breakup or a sad event in their lives, some get driven by the thought of money and fame at the end of the line, some watch movies in the genre they write in, etc.. What is your own source of inspiration for writing?

So, let me go first. I have noticed that for me, when I write while sipping a bottle of Legend Stout, I write FASTER and I am more creative. Ideas just keep flowing in and I never get blocked. Hey, this is me o! We are all different and live different lives. So, it might not be the same for you. And please don't judge me if you don't drink alcohol.

The second thing I do is watch lots of American Romance comedies. I get lots of ideas for stories from watching those movies, and I also get this strong urge to write.

So, guys, let's hear from you...what is your writing process like? Do you take or do anything to enhance your writing.

I'm interested in helping and I am sure a lot of people here will also help you. But first, tell me why you want to be a writer.

Good one @kayo80. For some reason the same method doesn't work for me twice so it's kind of a struggle finding a new muse for each story, but I learn to cope.
