You have been so helpful with useful infos. Thank You.
As a requirement to be verified, i tried to get a letter of administration and was told it will take a while for collection. that got me upset of delays in Nigerian systems. Any useful tip sir?

Perhaps going through a lawyer might quicken the process.
However, hold on pretty well to the death certificate and the official paper evidence to confirm application for the letter.
But i advise you talk to a lawyer and if the fee is not outraging plus assurance of a quick process, you may let him handle it.

So sorry for Nitel disengaged who think ptad would pay any arrears or 20yrs lump sum. Sorry to dash your hopes but its not the train we've been waiting for. The fight is not worn yet and we have to be cautious.

Just started following this thread even though I read it once in a while. Little observation...I went to Federal Mortgage bank head office Abuja to check on a document I submitted as NOK earlier this year in Lagos, at the mention of the name Nitel the staff all started laughing and told me to forget any payment. This felt very weird and I decided to know why. They said there are a thousands of petitions against the payment. Can anyone verify if this is true

Am not suprised, because Ptad is playing a fast one by including the disengaged staff on pension payroll. The question is what then happens to the outstanding 20years lump sum? Nitel was privatised which qualifies its staff who were in service and subsequently disengaged as a result of the privatisation to a 25years terminal benefit(not monthly pension) this is an international practise and Nigeria is a signatory to the agreement. Now ptad wants to thus that by the side and do what they like, well its contempt of court. Let's just watch what happens at the end.

The question been asked here is not about 20yrs pension buyout but rather housing fund contributed while in service, im also affected cos I even used public complaints commission and all available means but to no avail.also, oluti has been turned down by ECOWAS court and that is y he has been silent of late.he was told he has no judgement compelling fed gov to pay 20yrs and that gov are already handling the issue

Thanks for your response. So basically I should forget about the housing fund payment for now. The way the Mortgage bank guys laughed at me was a little bit embarrassing

I'm a NOK. I started pursuing the mortgage fund since 2015. Early this year i got an alert from FMBN which represents only 35% of my expected payment. I have written and spoken with the director and zonal cordinator as regards the balance, all to no avail.

Please what evidence do you have to prove that the Ecowas court has turned the group down ?

Concerning the mortgage issue, is it not possible for those concerned to take FMBN to court ? Many are involved.
The motive was to provide a house for contributors. Failure to do that, they were supposed to pay refund with acrued interest which they did not. To make matters worse, they are trying to cheat some out of their sweats.

Those of us on Twitter can ask ptad on their handle when the locations will be published. It is just six days left. I will be quite disappointed if they postpone or shift date again. People are hoping seriously on this date already announced. May God touch them at ptad.
Re: Nitel Pensioners Should Come In by eddie7: 1:01pm On Jan 09, 2018
The NITEL verification exercise will start on the 15/01/18 with Lagos zone first, Enugu for south east and Port Harcourt for south south. Abuja and the rest of the north shall start on 04/02/18. The PTAD officials are expected to be in Lagos on the 15/01/18 to start on 15/01/18.

This is a good question. Because my uncle who was verified in October worked with Nigerian re insurance hasn't been paid till today. But I guess that is upto accountant general of the federations incompetence

Its trending on ptad official Facebook page now where some agrieved nitel pensioners are saying the ptad boss lied to them concerning the payment duration.about 5 different people testified that she said the payment will be effected 3days following verification during a meeting held in abuja last year and that was y PTAD was chosen over pencom.it was stated that both PTAD and PENCOM bosses were there present and tried to convince the pensioners on which to choose but nitel pensioners opted for PTAD cos pencom payment was installment.
