Thank you for submitting your application for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, it is now part of our review process. 

A University of Edinburgh Selection Committee will meet in February-March 2018 with an aim to interview shortlisted candidates in March 2018. 

If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable interview time. Interviews will take place either in person, one of us will be in your country, through Skype or phone. 

If you are not shortlisted for an interview, you will receive an email to inform you that your application has not been successful. 

The scholarship winners will be announced in March-April 2018. 

Please do not apply for admission to the University before the scholarship decisions are announced, unless you are applying for other scholarships in the University of Edinburgh. 

The successful Mastercard Foundation scholarship applicants will be supported by the MCF Team through the process of admission and will not need to pay any fees.

Since I'm a fresh graduate( haven't gone for NySC), I didn't apply with any documents such as transcript, English competency test results etc. I'm currently studying for Ielts but I keep getting discouraged that I might never be invited for an interview let alone be awarded the scholarship.. Results are not officially out but I should be around second class upper ( 4.xx). my WAEC isn't great either.. I need a confidence boost, please rate me.

Don't be discourage I had such hope last year, transcript hindered me too.
your IELTS will open doors to lots of scholarships.

yes I did the same.but am yet to hear from her. I mailed her and she told me decisions I'll be by mid January.
