My interview was just normal, I think I got all my questions correctly and surely I knew some more than the panel but was a bit proud (current affairs have been my strong point since primary school). I was comfortable with the technical aspects and mentioned a few names in DPR that we had correspondences with in my previous work place before I was dropped mid last year. I was into drilling and well planning, they knew the place I worked and I named wells for them (usually, DPR gets well plans, anti-collision analysis and other things before approving new wells to be drilled).

At the end, I hammered them 2 questions that they couldn't answer. first was on career development at DPR while the second was a direct attack question and indictment on them, that was motivated by the fuel scarcity which had started building up at the time of my interview. The 2nd question got the FCC man laugh out loudly.

So, that's all. I don't think there's anything special. I didn't go to please them. in fact, the 2nd question could get them rank me low or disqualify me outright. Their business.

You should have asked him to prove his affiliation with DPR, how strong/influential his help can be and to provide more details from your profile since he claimed he got access just to know whether the whole thing is genuine or just another scam. A scammer would have none of this and would end the call by him/herself. Although there are many scammers around, it is a well-known fact that some people actually get the chance to select someone and depending on who they are, they decide to make money out of it. I am not saying this is the case but it's possible.

One thing i know for sure is dat lng pays blood money to entry level uni gradz...and just a few mil lower for trainee operator "HND".
Infact to be precise, uni gradz takes home more than 17m p.a.
Before u say guy take am easy nah!!! I got privy on d offer letter for d recent intakes n rmbr i said it here dat i was waitlisted on the last graduate recruitment and as some1 also mentioned earlier, last nov we got a regret mail on validity being expired.
But al the same i trust God more than man cos the heart of a king belongs to God.....i bliv the dcision wil be turned arnd for our favour. Amen.

Huge emphasis is placed on your performance during the interview but other factors come into play after d interview e.g every zone must be well represented but priority is always given to d indigenous people of rivers n bonny kingdom

You sounded like some of my classmates that brag about "finishing" panel of supervisors during project defense. How could you outdo a professor in a field that you are a starter?

Pls be careful o. Might be a scam. People might have access to the attendance written on interview day and might wanna play a fast one. Just my observation though.

We were duly warned that DPR does not correspond with candidates using agents or consultants. They also stated on their disclaimer notice that all official communications to candidates would be done through their online portal or their website.
I endeavor us all to go through the disclaimer notice, if we haven't gone through it.

If you have being interviewed already, there is no need to update your profile... We need to be careful. Please call their customer care for more clarity...

Disclaimer ke, if you recieved a call kindly update your profile as soon as possible, the call came from DPR and all i can tell you is congratulations. Government agencies do call their succesful candidates to update and confirm their addresses before they dispatch your APL. Not everything is scam, and to those that didnt recieve any call didnt mean anything, it means their address is intact.

For real brov, I didn't even apply for this Job, let alone going for interview

Nope jan 8 is not. I know for a fact the selection process is barely started.. The interviews finished about 2weeks ago na (we know how controversial this recruitment is asper slot/merit dragging sessions couldn't hav been so quick)Work resumes 2nd right?
So even if we assume the impossible that they do the full selection on that same day and draw up the final list of candidates ON THE SAME DAY...so they will send to FCC and FCC will also take just a few days to approve? Before 8th? And letters will be typed and printed and candidates will be called too by 8th? All In 1 week? Pls feel free to draw your conclusions.. however, will it be really hard just to be patient just a few weeks more? We are close to the finish line people. It's not every conspiracy theory that actually requires a response..be anxious for nothing.

Thats true, some people think everythng is scam. Few weeks after interview of my present job i got a call from them to confirm my date of birth, automatically i knew i have been selected. They just want to clarify somethings thats all, congratulations to the guys that recieved the call. And also it shows that very soon they will start calling successful ones. Then jan 8 is feasible
