Wow. Nice project.. More souls gonna get blessed if dat building is completed...

If you want to bless more souls with 50billion naira, then it shouldn't be expended on a building But on the other hand there will be more seeds, offering and Tithes,...... No one, organisation or even the church can spend so much without some cost benefit analysis. At the end of the day souls are secondary,....... that's all I'm trying to say

Education is the major problem of this part of the world. I will be very happy if some part of the money will b channel to free and good education especially from prep classes to secondary school.

Church church church.

You know, the West developed modern medicine, sewers, electricity, airplanes, and many other things when they stopped pouring all their resources into churches... around 1500s, they started rethinking and experiencing their Renaissance. You know what Renaissance means? Rebirth; as in the old ways of superstition, imaginary celestial beings, the power of the church were seriously questioned, and humans started being rational again.

If we spent 1/4 of the seeds, tithes, offerings, etc. on productive pursuits - industry, education, healthcare, we can leapfrog into the league of developed countries within 25 years.

For the record, I pray such a theatre isn't built until we have a world class facility that employs thousands of youth in Info Tech and factories making as basic every day things as socks and underwear.

The Faith theatre 100,000 Stadium-like Auditorium which was designed by Students/Graduates of Covenant University has now been TEMPORARILY put on Hold as the Church waits for clear Divine Instructions on the matter. According to Bishop Oyedepo, God hasn't given a "go ahead" for the Construction to begin.

About 1,000 Hectares of Land had been initially reserved for the project at Canaancity and the Project reportedly ought to have run for Three years maximum and commissioned in 2019.

Right now, according to Leke Beecroft, the Church would now focus on expanding Faith Tabernacle(50,000) to accommodate hundreds of thousands of Worshippers. According to 2015 statistics Canaanland currently hosts about 400,000 people per Sunday over several Services-hence it is imperative to either build a new structure or expand the Faith Tabernacle.

Nigeria!

Big churches and mosques, little and weak industries.

Substituting work with faith,

... Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. James 2:18...

The church can pave the way for massive industrialisation if it wants to. N50 billion will do a lot in Nigeria's economy.

Talk to your politicians who have refused to do such. Nothing concerns churches with economy. Members voted people in too.

The Fulani herdsmen issue predates this government:

Personally, I have grown from strength to strength since Buhari came into office.

I can see with my own eyes the improvement in the power and agricultural sectors.

I see the youth whose mind's have been poisoned to always hate being employed in Npower. No previous government gave a hoot about them.

Let Oyedepo wait for god's directions no more. It is clearly written in the Bible that god is against temples.

However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. - Acts 7:48

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands -
Acts 17:24

Has so called freeze succeeded in hindering or convincing people not to go to church or paying offering and tithe?

If he has not, then, he is a colossal failure spewing nonsense yet his life is no better.

Tell him to spend his time on something meaningful and continue to earn his stipend instead of castigating men of God to gain cheap popularity. He is not to judge, let God judge.

Which kind divine instruction is this, they only hear money.

Not one single pastor or Daddy N1 billion can hear about the Fulani Herdsmen.

Surely all these prophecies are all FAKE.

As God considers the death of a saint.

Psa 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

So how all these Pastorneurs and Daddy N1 Billion can never hear about the killings of Christians only money matters.

Showing they are all FAKE!

In all fairness, Oyedepo was one of the first people to speak out against the Fulani killings.

There were poor people in existense when Solomon spent possibly billions on building the Temple. God did not leave heaven to start living inside the temple. However God himself commended Solomon for the project. Anything that bears the name of God must be splendid! and by the way it is not a yearly project. It is a once in a life time project so it should be done well enough. For a Church building a 500 Billion Naira city for themselves-50 billion is surely a small amount to appropriate for their city.

If nothing concerns the church with the economy, why then are they building universities all over? Why not leave education in the hands of the government?

Go and reach the origins of these big schools in the UK and US and see who laid their foundations.

The religious bodies can turn the economy of this country around. Believe me.
The government control the wealth of this country ,trillion of naira are under their care , first is their sole responsibility to manage the country economy.the religion centres only serve as support
So forward your to the government
