Shut up this slum dweller. Get the current stats..Anambra is already in top 5 on IGR. The point is that Imo state is the least in the southern Nigeria.

Yes Imolites are trooping to Anambra for their livelihood. At least about 2million of them as at 2017.

emmysoftyou:
ok imo state is the least, I accept but what position is anambra state cos I can't see them at 5th or 10th position here.
I see no reason why at this age you are still comparing anambra and imo instead of comparing anambra and Lagos.
Anambra and imo is still at baby's development when compared to Abidjan and Accra. I traveled to these places and I can tell you, we have a long way to go. I laughed at ur comment when you said imo state guys trip into anambra for livelihood. I was like you smoke weed?

Oga wake up and travel to Lagos, Accra and Abidjan. I don't need to mention USA but take ur time to visit the place and see what they call development.
Stop all this child comparison.

Genuine Imolites should start asking questions. cheesy

BeijinDossier:
Ladies and gentlemen, Imo state is finished. Imolites need to start asking questions. Propaganda should have a limit. This is just the internal debt profile.

What did the limping mofo do with all these billions and billions? What about federal allocation? 13% derivation? LGA allocations? There's nothing on ground anywhere. Did he use the funds to build statues for criminals? Where's the cursed useless old man called abagworo..over to you. I dey laugh.

See where Imo state allocation is going. Do you still wonder why workers are owed months of unpaid salaries and no project on ground? Whopping 500million. cheesy

Imolites should be on the streets by now.

Chino aka BeijinDossier has done so much damage to Igbo image on Nairaland. Majority of the old ugly pictures posted today against Igbos by Afonjas originally came from him. I have never seen any self-destructive character online before.

My happiness is that overwhelming majority of Igbos don't think like him.

Nnamdi Kanu proved that no matter where he goes, Igbos are all one family.

From my understanding, Chino is Igala from Anambra State, he's not Igbo in the slightest.

It looks simple in architecture but is a welcome development because it could have been left undone like those before him from 1960. I dislike the colour of roof and walls too. Red colored roofs with brick colored walls would have given the buildings a little facelift.

Exactly. It's lazy, lack luster architecture. Why build things to outdated designs?
It just makes the place look stuck in time if they refuse to begin using modern and inspiring designs. It's different if you are replicating beautiful designs from the past.

Nigeria has moved waaaay beyond this type of building now.

Why can't this man do one project that is worthy to be celebrated? Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well. This is a university for God's sake, Just see the pictures below this are secondary schools in Osun state that receives the lowest allocation in Nigeria. I know is still ongoing project but just look at the building.

You have spoken well to enlightened that Mr proud but I thought imo is the 5th richest state in Nigeria. Is that true?
IMO is actually the second richest state in terms of GDP per capita and ffifth richest in terms of total size of the economy ie GDP (check out this link https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/1094196-top-20-richest-states-nigeria.html and wiki or google )
IMO is very rich in oil and gas and have multinationals like shell, sheveron, agip, etc
Hospitality industry is very big in IMO and its huge money spinal for the state. Don't be surprised that an average looking hotel can make much more money than a whole market put together can make in a day!

Question is

Is Rochas an Owerri man?

If the answer is negative, then blame Rochas and not Owerri people.

Rochas Okorocha did not start the phenomenon of "only Owerri must be a modern City in Imo state." He only increased/exacerbated the phenomenon.

The phenomenon is an unofficial policy of many people from Owerri CAPITAL CITY who constrain every new governor to maintain Owerri as only City that can emerge from Imo state.

In Imo state, State institutions are not developed because fierce arguments linger over the locations of the institutions.

IMSU OWERRI OF ABOUT 25 YEARS HAS NO BUILDING STRUCTURE BEFITTING A UNIVERSITY.

IMSUTH ORLU OF 15 YEARS HAS BETTER BUT HARDLY NO BUILDING STRUCTURE BEFITTING A UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL.

IMOPOLY UMUAGWO IS NOT DIFFERENT.

Clannish politics in Imo state spearheaded by Owerri is responsible for the stunted development of State institutions in Imo State;

because Owerri do everything in the books to make any government project to be in Owerri, and do everything in the books to stifle every State project not located in Owerri area.

For example, the year IMSU was born, rest of Imo state outside Owerri argued against location of IMSU in Owerri But Owerri-born former governor of Imo state, Evan Enwerem, defied all the arguments, located IMSU in Owerri despite the availability of a large university facility at the closed Alvan College Campus in Orlu, despite the existence of FUTO, ALVAN and POLYNEKEDE in Owerri before then.

With Lingering arguments over location in Imo, every state governor builds shanties for buildings, while neighbouring states build solid structures for their public institutions as they see everywhere in their state as part of their state.

But Owerri do not see outside Owerri as part of Imo state.

The difference between this and that is just colour and it's an ongoing project. If you can't celebrate anything he has done including roads, schools and hospitals then you are just hating because you do so without reason.

Must you always compare Imo state with others, no difference between you and chino, always stirring up silly debates when it's uncalled for. I only hope nobody from Abia takes this up and everyone should just let this fly.

ABSU is the most solid State University in the Southeast before now which necessitated the comparison. Unlike you AKA Chino I never intended to talk down Abia.

You bastard will always find a way to link everyone to chino just to divert attention.

Today IMSUTH is a poultry farm but it does not bother you.

Today, IMSU is a glorified village primary school but your propaganda will not let you say the truth.

I spit on your bald head.
