1. Lemme guess its extracellular edema. Extracellular edema means the fluid is leaving the cells to the ECF. Thus, the cells are dehydrated. This leads to secretion of aldosterone to try to stop the dehydration.
Good Sir, but can we look at num 1 in this perspective also, in edema, there is increased tissue fluid and blood volume reduces, there is kidney hypoperfusion and hence, renin is produced as tubuloglomerular feedback ensues, angiotensin 2 is produced via RAAS pathway, that act on the adrenal cortex to produce aldosterone. I Was asked this by prof fasanmade of Ui In Viva, was telling him hyperaldosteronism leadin 2 edema (apparently out of it) Until he asked abt the blood vol in edema (clue) and that triggered the Raas.
3. bitemporal hemianopia
4. also xylocaine, adrenalin a vasoconstrict the blood vessel for longer duratn lest it is completely absorbd.
how is Mb Prep? It Is test of Residual Knwledge and takes lot of effort to fail mb1.

A thread like this has existed for so long the years and I am just getting to know? I was flabergasted seeing (0)...(502)... My mouth was agape... Though I haven't gone through the pages word by word, I want to confess that the love, unity and togetherness I've found among medics and their fellow aspirants is second to none. Not even in the Pharmacy I'd earlier aspired to study... you give out your all's to see freshers through the hurdles... thumbs up guys! For this reason, since Uniuyo has refused admitting me to study Pharmacy with UTME score 251, I wish to go for Medsurge. But how can I make it without your guides? Please drop your catapultable tips here to help me see it to fruition... I want to make from 350 up this year... Help a junior aspirant... Thanks!

Nice one Bro... but you must first understand the concept and ask yourself these questions..what do you really want?? is it pharmacy or medsurg?? and what's my purpose of venturing into this course? not until you ar
e able to answer these questions; you won't be able to get fulfilment.. If pharmacy is really what you desire then go for it. why not push on! nothing should make you change direction if you know what you want.. The best motivation you can get is the motivation from within.. others are secondary., not even because of the reception from other colleagues in the field.. be yourself, be focus, and don't allow anything change your bearing.

First of all....its God all the way....
If you really want divine direction and grace then u have to be closer to God....
Read as if everything about you depends on reading....
What ever question that comes ur way crack it down...
If u fail it ....endeavour to search for the answer and note it....
Don't only practice past questions make sure
U use ur textbooks to confirm the answers for each question.....
Surround yourself around people who study a lot....
Limit ur access to social medias..
Read with motivation knowing fully well that u have a dream of being admitted......
Congrats in advance

Thanks a million, bro.!
I've hitherto often had this deep-flowing drive to be a medic. This was perhaps ignited by the ills I've had to battle in my own health, those of my family members, and most importantly the poor dying in my very before as a result of inability to afford medicare. The plan was to start with Pharmacy and later switch to Medicine, 'cos it seems cheaper to start from there. But now, it's medicine straight. Thanks bro.!

You've surely provided me with the surest broom-stick compasses, bro. Thanks many times! My rate of internet presence is fatally outrageous. It surely needs a slash and I'll do it.
As per the "me-and-God relationship", I'll strive to cordialise it even more.
Hoping to join the family next year.

Pls educate me, do dentistry students also sit for BDS professional exam in 300L in addition to MB1 they will be taking with MBBS students?

It varies for different schools.... Like in UI, you start all the dental courses/professional exams in 500 level after, you must have written final mbbs (medicine and Surgery), but in most other schools like Uniben and my school UNN, Dental students write most MBBS and BDS courses simultaneously.....

Like, aside from the normal physical and biological Sciences exams in first year which is taken as the first professional exam for both medicine and Dentistry, we write the 2nd BDS professional exams in Oral Biology (Oral anat, physio, and bch) in 2nd semester 2nd year, before writing the 2nd MBBS professional exams in General Anatomy, physio and biochemistry.....

U will try I get you a run-down of the academic regulations

I think the higher the CGPA, the higher your chance of getting admitted.. a lot of persons are competing for same course with a very high CGPA, some with a first class sef .You need a good CGPA to enable you shoot... Moreover never neglect the God-factor... but if u really want med surg I would advice you take jamb along side with it.. that will give you 90% edge over DE...
