pls which of this universities is it advisable to study Medicine and Surgery.

OAU.
UNIMED.

Pls I need an urgent answer before filling Jamb form
OAU is better.
OAU has been there for long. UNIMED has not even graduated the first set of students that is was admitted.( They started in 2015). So without any doubt OAU is pretty much better.

I'm a 30yrs old Bsc (Animal science) and Msc(Animal breeding and genetics) holder.
It's been a childhood dream of mine to study medicine and surgery and I have not been able to do so due to some circumstances of which finance is one of them.
Having built up a small business I believe can help me sponsor the program am contemplating starting this year.
I simply have one question, am I too old for this journey?

pls doctors in the house help. about 1 month ago, I was feeding my 2 months old puppy and I discovered that my right leg was bleeding although I didn't feel any pain. I told my parents a week later and was asked to go to the hospital,I met a doctor who asked me why I didn't come earlier. the doctor said since it was almost ten days I should wait to seeif the dog should die although I took an anti rabies vaccine the next day. the dog is still alive and well till today. in between I have typhoid fever and malaria which I'm currently treating, I'm having serious muscle pains especially in my right leg where I saw blood. is it possible that I have rabies? pls reply. the dog is still alive

Pls I need advice,I'm a delsu medical aspirant,I've registered for 2018 jamb,I've been reading like mad since on the 14th of November and I've indeed seen great improvement while answering my past questions and I'm very positive I'll be admitted this year. The problem is as the day of the exams draws near,it is expected that that's when the reading gets at its peak buts that's not my own story instead my brain has refused to pick anything I read at this point, don't misunderstand me please the interest in reading is still perfectlythere,I want to read but my brain is not just picking,I'm reading and is as if I'm blabbing. What do you advice I do as am an avid reader, some said I should leave my books for few days but I don't know if that's a good idea, pls what do you advice I do thank you

Its never too late to achieve one's dream and live a fulfilled life.
Friends and families will discourage you but you shouldn't be bulged.
It's your life to live and not theirs.
It's not everyone that will get MBBS on a platter of Gold.
Some have to be consistent, remain resolute and preserve.
You know deep down yourself what you want go for it.
And the days you struggled to get hold of your dream will pass away.
Winners never quit, losers do and settle for the less.
It's yours decision to make.

You don't have to read to for lengthy hours If you're discomfited in the process.
I know you want to get what you want at all cost but you should be take easy with yourself.
Your health and well being is more important.
You could also eliminate any form of distractions while reading.
Our brains also need rest.
You could rest at intervals and start again..
You don't have to read for straight 12 hours;Your brain needs energy to function well.
8-10 hours a day might be enough but be consistent.
Atimes, you may need soft drinks to revitalise yourself.

consider the fact that OAU is a federal university while UNIMED is a state university.

if you are considering ease of admission, well, you might go for UNIMED.

i have not been to the teaching hospitals of both schools, so i can't attest to state of equipment.
maybe other bosses can contribute to this sha.

you can apply for direct entry to Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry. I'm very sure of that. I don't know if other schools will accept, but FUTA will accept your OND in SLT
.You can't apply for MLS direct entry with OND in SLT.

This is the kind of question i like answering...
Sir, i believe it was coz of passion that made u even after having Bsc and Msc yet still wants medicine..
Sir, please fufilment first before age.
I finished sec school at the age of 17, got admission at the age of 19 into thesame program u had a Bsc on (animal nutrition to be precise).. I changed course to Bsc chem after 100level..yet, i still had passion for a medical career..at 300level i dropped out from school.. Applied Abu got anatomy, bounced it.. Went to Nnamdi Azikiwe for prescience program.. After the whole story..am now a student of UNN department of Dentistry and dental sudgery at 22. Bro, in this game, age dosnt count..fufilment does. Good luck sir.
