Funny enough I don't even blame Rochas. The citizens and their love to block drainages are the cause.

As for the construction, it is an ongoing process so one shud expect issues like this to come up before the project is concluded. It will help the govt see what needs to be corrected.

"Ikiri Is better than Thief" "Ikiri ka Onyechi nma" meaning Ohakimi is better than Rochas. The only good place is Okige road round about. When the raining season starts, everything will collapse, Rochas roads don't last.

Owerri isn't flooded. The pictures are partly from last year while some were taken during rainfall. 10 minutes after the rain everywhere was already dry with zero water logs.

I can assure you I have traveled to all the eastern states and it's only Ebonyi state I have not stayed in for over 24 hours. But what would you know? Most areas that are flooded are reclaimed natural LAKE NWAEBERE water logs ponds areas of federal housing. aladimma, prefab ikenegbu hospital area to Diamond bank and works layout down to Amakohia by the comprehensive school.

These areas are were water logged ponds of LAKE Nwaebere in the 70s and back .

But these younger generation of Leaders dont know these. and you cant fight Nature so the best option is to clear these area for the Lake to be.
