I want to believe they are two different programs. The one you posted is powered by Google and for Android development . I also got the mail as i performed poor in the testing of which we have been invited to the slack team.
The other one which is the recent one we have been talking about is the front end Web Development program by Microsoft. That will be launched on Friday according to the mail I got.

I'm actually gonna pass on the Android custom program which some termed as the relegation zone. Waiting patiently for the launch of front end Web Development on Friday

It's like i said earlier above in my post. They are two different programs. Our own training starts with the launch on Friday. You got the message on Andela with Google for Android development custom program cos you applied and wasn't selected . I also got the same but im not interested in it. This front end Web Development program is the reason why we got a mail this evening, you'd notice that there is a meetup for those in the same region unlike the Android programme.

For those who were invited, please keep us updated on this thread as I'm really looking forward to joining this program next time it will be coming up again.

Registration is over and the course study materials are online. Physical presence is optional when the time comes for it in few weeks from now. The course will run till March 31st and self paced.
You just have to chill for the next version i. E alcwithmicrosift 2.0
