Shut up. It took me only few months. All these death happened under Jonathan too but some of you want to make it look like these killings only started on the day Buhari became president. In fact more herdsmen killing happened in Nasaraea, Benue, Ekiti, Osun, Adamaea, and Plateau under your Lord and savior ineffectual Buffon.

We supported and voted Buhari to change rubbish going on under ineffectual Buffon but Buhari hasn't done what we voted him to do. That's why we are now against him unlike you TANOIDS who wouldn't admit Jonathan was ever wrong about anything.

Oga, should I show you facts?

According to the Global Terrorism Index, Fulani militants were the fourth deadliest terrorist group in 2014, using machine guns and attacks on villages to assault and intimidate farmers. After killing around 80 people in total from 2010 to 2013, they killed 1,229 in 2014. Most deaths occurred in the Nigerian Middle Belt, in particular in the states of Benue, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau and Taraba, which recorded 847 deaths.

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herder%E2%80%93farmer_conflicts_in_Nigeria

If GEJ says his mind about the Fulani killings, you guys would call him insensitive. The killings have been going on for long, but they were minute, scattered clashes. In most years, the numbers were very low, and they were not targeted. In fact, more people died from snake bites than from the attacks .

But after that statement that "Nigeria would be made ungovernable for GEJ," everything amped up. From BH to the herdsmen killings. That's when the attacks became coordinated, and the militia developed an MO.

Even then between 2010 and 2013, only 80 people were killed. That's an average of 20 people per year. Robbers kill more than 20 people in most cities in Nigeria annually. Yet there was a military response in Plateau in 2011.

Then for some f*cked up reason, in 2014, the number ballooned from 20 to 1,229 people. In the same year that Buhari made his "dog and baboon" statement. And in 2016, they doubled it to over 2500 people.

Now, please answer why that was the case? How did a bunch of skirmishes that resulted in less than 2 deaths per month rise to 1,229 people in one year?

And you helped install the people who were responsible for that increase. Now you're angry that those same people are looking to exploit their creation. In the same way they've exploited Boko Haram into a perennial cash cow. They loot money meant to fight the war, and also loot money meant to rebuild the North East. It's a win-win for the Northern elite.

Personally, I'm not even angry at Buhari. He is a bigot, a mass murderer, and a hardcore Islamist. I'm not surprised at his silence one bit. He played his card well, and rode on the shoulders of simpl*tons like you.

I'm angry at that Af*nja m*dget who calls himself a pastor. For crying out loud, a pastor is the VP of Nigeria and he has said absolutely nothing about the killings of Christians. Just look at the list. I'm not a Christian, but I'm p*ssed beyond words.

I'm not saying he can do much, but can't he say anything. Can't he break character like Ortom did? Ortom was licking a** until he said enough is enough. Why can't Osinbajo? Seriously, what's his excuse?

Tomorrow he'd pick a mic in church and start making political statements, but he can't pick the same mic to condemn these killings. It's like he's not existing.

Go and play with sand.

And what would you have discussed with me?

That your hands are stained with blood like the President you helped install?

Or that Osinbajo has a reason to keep mute?

Here's the newsflash, Buhari does not need your help to retain power. And I'd ins*lt any id*ot who plays politics with human lives and m*rons like you who even now fail to look up facts that are freely available.

You keep defending your decision in 2015, when it is indefensible and when it is like 3 years ago.

So yeah, sleep on that. You helped install an Islamist who was partly responsible for the rise in killings from 20 people a year in 2013 to 2500 people a year in 2016. Even when you were warned and facts were brought up, you brushed it aside. And you still in fact remain adamant today that you made a wrong choice in 2015.

Buhari just made me dislike him. When the anti open grazing bill was passed into law, Gov Ortom kept on pleading with Federal govt for support in terms of security yet Mr president ignore him. Mr president prepare your bags for Daura.

All Tiv's.

And with this list, I have officially broken up my long political love relationship with Buhari.

President Buhari you are not only weak, but you are also a very big disappointment.

These are all Nigerians listed here.

I will not be a party to,or even support a President that is tough on other tribes, but very weak on being tough with his own tribesmen.

The list of the dead has just confirmed that there is an organized conspiracy to wipe out the Tiv's from Earth,by the Fulani Herdsmen and a very weak President is sitting Akimbo doing nothing.

I do not support violence in anyway, but you do not fold your hands and watch somebody come into your house and molest and kill your wife and Children.

You DEFEND yourself and household with everything.

I am disappointed in the President. I am Disappointed with the Governor. I am disappointed in all the security agencies in Benue State.

But most importantly, I am disappointed in everybody that comes from Tiv land in Benue State. If the Government refuses to protect you, then you protect yourselves.

I respect you and sarrki for this. Real men always stand up and speak the truth when the situations warrants it. We are not going the right way under this administration. We need a focused leadership and we should all ensure we achieve this come 2019. Enough of living in the dark ages

See why I don’t believe your face value change of opinion? You are only doing this now because you would look foolish if you kept up your ‘sai baba ‘ chant. That’s all. I doubt you have any sympathy for the victims or actual ill feelings towards the man who’s empowering the marauders .

Not all Nomadic Fulani are killers, and these messages and unguarded comments promotes violence towards an entire race.

@ seun is that the legacy you really want for yourself and your conscience?

We must all find a solution,a way forward, inciting violence isnt the answer, neither is a one sided approach to the story or expression of grief, access to justice is important for both the Fulanis as it is important for the TIVs

While we all condole with the TIV people,I implore us all to be careful in our comments moving forward, National peace and stability should be foremost on our minds,as patriots, leaders, religious persons and Statesmen, this is our duty

The train was East bound. It moved with anticipation just like the passengers which were overcrowded in its various carriages. The faces of most of the passengers were gloomy. Some were expressionless and some grateful for being alive. Women straddled children some who were crying and some fast asleep. Most of the passengers were standing as the seats were exhausted and they formed the greater number of passengers thrice the number of the ones seated. All looked forward for a better life at home since the announcement of the secession. Although some had lost almost all they had, others were still contented to have their limbs intact and others grateful that they had their close family members by their side.

Suddenly, the carriages in the train began to shake vigorously. Some of the passengers standing almost toppled over those seated as the the train grinded to a halt. There were mumblings as to why the train suddenly stopped... Heads peered out of the windows to get a clearer view of what was going on and where they were... Questions were asked...no answer. The sleeping children and some adults were already awake. Minutes later, the carriage doors were opened and some of the passengers started coming out...some to stretch their tired backs from the effect of the long journey, others to relieve themselves and others to know the reason for the sudden break of their journey...

There they saw it...just in front of the train, huge chinks of wood from chopped trees littered the rail lines. On closer look, stones and tyres too. The train captain was confused...he passed this line on his way to pick these passengers. There were arguments as to why the wood were blocking the rail lines. Some said it could have been the effect of a storm from the previous night, others argued otherwise...

Some able-bodied men were called out to help remove the biggest impediment which was a large stem of a Melina tree. It was puzzling as to how other obstacles in the railtrack got there...objects like old tyres, wheels, and big stones..."Could it have been a blockade done intentionally?", someone asked...many others doused the question with the wave of the hand...it couldn't be an obstacle as they were now on safer territory quite far from the North where the mayhem had its origin and major foothold...

From the bushes by the railtracks, some people were seen crawling out. Some with machetes, some iron bars, some sticks and all other objects which the smallest were the size of an adult's hand...

There was a suspicious look in their faces as they came closer in dozens towards the train..."Who are these people", someone whispered..."Maybe they are here to help us", another opined...

The train captain stretched out his hand to offer a greeting to the man who was in front and was about to introduce himself when the unimaginable happened...The man dealt a blow with a huge stick he was holding to the train captain's head...he gasped and fell and another man finished him off with swift slashes from a sharp machete he brandished...that was when it dawned on the passengers that it was an ambush...they tried to run back to the train but from all angles, the mob descended on the passengers...shrieks and cries from every side, children grabbed from their mothers and their heads smashed on the iron railings, women pinned down and suffocated to death, men dealt blows from machetes and sticks...they were defenseless, the ones in the train were dragged out and given the same treatment...it lasted for about an hour...and in the end, over 800 of the were killed in cold blood. Women and children inclusive...

It was on a midday afternoon in June 1966...

It was in BENUE...

The passengers on the train were IGBOS escaping the carnage in North after Gen. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu had announce Biafra as a sovereign state and asked Igbos to head back home...

The mob who laid the Ambush were Tivs.

History can never be forgotten and KARMA IS A B*TCH!
I agree that a lot of terrible things happened during that period. But then, we mustn't confuse people with half truths.

Ojukwu hasn't declared Biafra in June 1966. As a matter of fact, JTA Ironsi was still the commander in Chief in June 1966.

Conclusively, the killings must stop. This is 2018. Such senseless killings have no place in the modern and civilized world.

While we all condole with the TIV people,I implore us all to be careful in our comments moving forward, National peace and stability should be foremost on our minds,as patriots, leaders, religious persons and Statesmen, this is our duty

Shut up. I repeat shut up!

I respect you and sarrki for this. Real men always stand up and speak the truth when the situations warrants it. We are not going the right way under this administration. We need a focused leadership and we should all ensure we achieve this come 2019. Enough of living in the dark ages

On the contrary, real men are supposed to be wise and proactive rather than reactionary. The signs were clearly there for all to see that their Baba was soaked on nepotism and a confirmed blood-thirsty bigot! What was the basis of their support? Change? Ngwanu him din change am for dem so they have no moral right to bleat about disappointment.

Real men speak the truth when the situation warrants it? The situation was warranted the moment it became clear that Buhari was a candidate. They chose to ignore the truth and lie to themselves and others! There were other alternatives beyond GEJ and GMB!

How can now they be disappointed in someone that swore to continue to show his commitment to sharia until it's implemented across the entire country? Someone that led lorry loads of his fulani kin to confront the then serving governor of Oyo state? Someone that said dogs n baboons will be soaked in blood if he's not voted? A person that never developed himself and has no public-oriented service to his credit?

What was his selling point? Integrity and fighting corruption? Someone that can overthrow a civilian government, imprison a vice president because he's Igbo and then pamper the president because he's his brother, can such a person fight corruption? A person that can order the killing of people by firing squad through the retroactive implementation of a law, will that one fight corruption or respect the rule of law? Or is it the recession he heralded during his stint as military head of state?

All this information was in the public domain, yet these idiots proudly supported the scrawny bastard then after obvious ethnic cleansing of alarming dimensions they are suddenly disappointed! For what?

Real men do not invite the devil and turn around to be disappointed that the devil acted true to his nature. There are some actions that do nt afford the luxury of repentance and supporting/voting on Buhari is one of such. Unless nature intervenes, u can be sure that 2019 elections will be one of the bloodiest and most rigged in Nigerian history. He is not Jonathan and is no gentleman. He and his goons will ensure the absolute subjugation of Nigerians by every means available; such is the nature of the fulani fiefdom! It should never have been allowed to take hold of presidential power.
