Let go back to the very beginning of Christianity. Look at that small group of people faced with annihilation; the most powerful empire threatening to put an end to them. Even there own people, fellow Jews, despised them and wanted to put them to death. Yet we see that community striving until the most hunted religion in the Roman empire becomes the most famous religion.

Soon everybody wanted to be associated with Christianity, they forgot how it started, how many gave their lives for it. But what did the early Christians saw that drove them so mad?...

I have read people who go about talking about what the early Christians saw and try to speak about them by giving their own interpretations of what the Bible says.

have you ever taken your time to read up what those persecuted Christians believed and taught, what their faith was made up of, what practiced?

have you ever seek out how they understood scriptures OR do you rather interpret scriptures according to your own ideas forgetting it was addressed to people?

sorry to add this conclusion but the testimony of the early Christians makes no meaning to the Protestants of today because they have decided instead to use scriptures as though it is a 16th century document belonging to Martin Luther and co.

I honesty doubt that you aren't one of those people I have described above.

I'm sorry Google rules, you cannot have the the same content in two different websites. It affects the legitimacy of your work, discredit your authorship. You understand

For your information I have read countless of history books on the early Christians. I have examined and studied ancient documents of early Christianity. I have watched countless of documentaries about early Christianity, I have even written books with contents about early Christianity. I'm not a novice in this area, when I talk about early Christianity I know what I'm saying.

I am not asking about the history books you have read, nor the documentaries made yesterday or the stuff you may or may not have written.

I am asking how many of the Early Christians themselves have you read, how do you teach and practice the faith in the light of how it was always taught and practiced from the beginning .

This shows you don't read history books of Christianity because if you do you would know that some of this books contain enough details about these early Christians themselves.

I actually read history books and I have seen some historians interpreting the early Christians the way they like, that is why I asked you have you read the early Christians themselves? not just some historian telling you what you want to hear.

have you read the early Christians?

I have read the New Testament, Paul, Ignatius, Polycarp, Eusebius and others. Are these not early Christians, although Eusebius is much later but he gave one of the most early and detailed history of early Christianity.

The early christians believed in Jesus Christ only as the way the truth and the life...

They did not miss Jesus Christ with tradition.

Happily they died preaching "Jesus Christ" only as the way to the heart of God...

Of course no, they are not heretic. But let not forget the fact that no man is perfect.

The issue is not perfection, the issue is truth.

the early Christians were those taught by the apostles and their closest disciples, they weren't insincere people but Christians in the truest sense of the word. They transmitted the Christian faith as clearly as they received it and they (many times unanimously) teach the truth as clearly as they had received it.... I think it is a pity that the modern day Protestant thinks that faith which the early Christians bear witness to as apostolic and which was believed everywhere is now considered heresy in Protestantism.

if for 1500years the entire Christian Church was all wrong, then it makes me wonder if the Protestant believe that the holy spirit started working in the 16th century.

if the Spirit has always been at work in the Church then, it is the modern Protestant who has perverted the word of God with his own personal interpretation.

no man is perfect but did the entire Christian Church immediately and in everywhere fall into heresy? did Jesus fail in his promise to be with his Church or did the Holy spirit fail.

I can understand individuals failing, but to agree with the current Protestant teachings you have to believe the whole Church, everyone, for 1500 years were heretics.

Its just one main driving force and I wonder why people are not discussing it.

1. They believed that Jesus the Christ was returning most likely in their Generation. And they want to be a Faithfully witness of Christ.

2. They believed that death is transient. They will wake up into an eternity with Christ and a reward for their faithfulness.

3. They Believed that they are Pilgrims and strangers in this world. The material world and the things they contained, yes deserable were not the Paramount things they are temporal
