Cause of death: Stabbed and betrayed by his Brothers in Black

Probably the most jaw breaking death of the series. It kept viewers on their toes and lots of questions were passed around but came season six and he rose from the dead. We call him the Christ of the series.

Roose Bolton died quietly after he was stabbed through the heart by his own flesh and blood. His death was quite poetic because of his infamous act of stabbing Robb Stark through the heart at the Red Wedding.

Hodor, who had vowed to “Hold the door” his entire life, sacrificed himself so that Bran and Meera could safely escape the White Walkers. Probably one of the most devastating death of the series.

Her killing spree was short-lived by Arya. We definitely do not know how Arya did it, but who cares? Her Severed and bloodied face was seen hanging up inside the Hose of Black and White and that’s all the visual that we need.

It’s a chilling day in Dorne, and surprisingly the bad guys are losing. The Bastard of Bolton, Ramsay was ripped to death by his own dogs. In the history of the series, Never has the phrase “good dog” been more appropriate.

Though much was not known about her. We got the full story in Season Six. She is Jon Snow mother and Jon’s father is Rhaegar Targaryen, which makes Daenerys’ Jons aunt. She died at childbirth.

Cause of death: Explodes after being stabbed with a magic knife


This kill was the gamechanger in the series. It showed that everyone and even snow-zombie has a weakness. with his kill we were able to know that White Walkers could be killed with magic knives.
