Miracles Don't Exist. Faith Healing And Prayer Are False. by Martinez19(m): 8:42am On Feb 06, 2018
One great thing about our universe is that it has laws that are never suspended. The idea that the laws of nature will be suspended for your sake if only believe, have faith and mutter words to yahweh or any deity is complete nonsense.

During miracle crusade, the "miracles" observed are nothing more than fake and staged miracles. People are also coerced to proclaim a healing of a malady they never suffered from eg. People who could walk are asked to sit on wheelchair and pretend they got their healing which enabled them to walk etc. Some of the miracles are exaggeration eg. Someone who was partially blind is presented as completely blind and the little he demonstrates to see to the audience is taken as TOTAL healing from God. Even the testimonies and healings on church flyers are fake.

Why is it that the people healed are relatively unidentified and unreachable persons? Why not Yinka Ayefele, Cobham Asuquo and the likes that are well known. To show you that healings and miracles are faked, why don't we see amputees and severed head restored? That's because these miracles are impossible to fake. The miracles that "happen" are those that can be faked - - - think about it.

Why is it that testimony time is full of nonsense like, "I thank God for adding another year to my life," "I thank God for keeping me and my family alive from January to December, " " I thank God for seeing me through my malaria, " " I thank God for giving me my job," "I thank God for giving me admission into the University" etc. You won't hear anything astonishing. grin

In as much as i am not a religious fanatic as i believe everyone is entitled to choose his/her own faith. I'd like to say - not only have i seen miracles happen, i have also experienced it personally.

Faith works and miracles are real!!!

NB: Not denying d fact that some churches stage play miracles but that does not nullify the existence of real miracles.

You see when you want to write anything and want to sound convincing try not to be self contradictory. You said here that the universe has laws right? Pray tell how these laws came about and how it happened to be that these laws work for us. Is it by chance? If yes, how then is it possible something without purpose to produce laws? If not by chance then it means something or someone with purpose instituted those laws. Not just for the miraculous but also for the fine tuning of the universe so it would enable us to definitely have a direction in development and knowledge. Care to share?

So much non sequitur. Until you deal with the first you cannot conclude on the miraculous being staged.

I guess famous people like Chris Tucker, Mase, Montell Jordan, August Jones, Kirk Cameron, Michelle Williams, Pebbles, Donna Summer, Sherri Shepherd, Manny Paquiao, Vanity, Dwayne the rock Johnson, etc all faked their miracles and were probably staged too. grin

You won't hear anything astonishing. grin

A man is crying that he has no shoes until he sees someone with no legs.

Someone is crying that he has malaria and is very uncomfortable until he sees someone with stage 4 cancer

Someone is angry at his parents that he only eats twice a day and would rather eat thrice and also have dessert until he sees a family who struggle to even feed once a day.

Life is all about ones personal experiences. Pain is personal. They say it is he who wears the shoe that knows where it pinches. Until you walk a mile in their shoes you have no right to condemn anyone whose testimony you regard as "nonsense".

Finally, I thought you swore never to have a conversation with me. How is it that you always put my moniker on your list of responses? That must be another miracle grin

my op was about nature's laws never being suspended and the falsehood of healing and miracles. As usual, you ignored these main points and started talking about who created these laws as if it is what I am talking about.

And my comment was on the laws itself which you mentioned. Let me post it again because I can see your lack of an answer is making you livid.

Let's find out if these laws are actually caused by nature which it did not begin itself and was not intelligent to start with. Or if these laws which guide us as you clearly stated in your OP can actually guide without direction and yet be called laws.

If a higher purpose did not give us these so called natural laws which now guide man SO WELL then how did they emerge on their own by chance yet are able to inevitably occur so well and guide us so well and help us have direction in the area of development and life as humans.

If these laws where by chance then miracles are fake but if those laws were purposefully set (as is evident today in our purpose driven world) then that means that whatever purposefully set them can also suspend them.

Do you get it now?

Now cut to the chase and answer my first comment.

pray tell how these laws came about? Higher purpose giving us the laws? How did the laws emerge? Why do these law come about? These are not the issues of my op. The only thing you can argue is if the laws of nature can be suspended or not. Either you agree or disagree with facts and cases. Good day.

Well since you had to deliberately mention them in your OP and I saw them as self contradictory to your OP it is an issue for me.

You are the one to tell me how these laws of nature emerged and if nature has control of itself and how it is that these laws work SO SO WELL and are considered INEVITABLE.

how did nature achieve this? By chance? If by chance how then did it intelligently do this with purpose if nobody was in control of nature all along?

Why is it called laws of nature if it has no purpose?

If it was by a higher authority then can this authority who began these laws not be able to suspend them too?

I am being factual. YOU ARE NOT!

It is impossible to heal anybody suffering from any serious disease or sickness like a terminal illness in the name of any God alone. Prayers remain totally USELESS and can not be differentiated from pure chance or luck. Clear cut miracles do NOT and can NEVER happen.
