How much did you pay for the WOFBI course?

I don't actually see any deception here Sir

[quoteI]I told him I have little money with me since am no longer working and that I will need welfare to support myself if I should join the program. He asked when I joined the church and I told him. So he said I should go on and join the program, and also meet my homecell leader concerning the welfare.[/quote]

It is deceit when I was ignored and abandoned after spending the little I have while attending the program.

The pastor did not deceive you, his expectations on getting welfare for may not go as expected thats why he could help. Yourself say that he had being transferred to another church. Amd this might make it difficult for him to assist.

His action not to contact you maybe as a result of feeling guilty of not being able to help.

Am sorry to hear condition, God will help you out

The resident pastor is still in the church and he is the one I did most of the discussion with.

I don't have the heart to ignored anyone assuming am the cause of their or might have misled them. I will certainly call the person even if I don't have the money to assist.

Some christians would rather defend the pastors, continue blaming me for nothing than help me.

How do you think God will help me out?

First of all, God calls us to repentance leading to salvation. After we have answered that call, He calls us to discipleship. He then calls us into the ministry. It is not another person that will tell you that you are called. It is the Caller Himself. Have you answered the first call to escape from the wrath to come?

Bro we didn't go to WOFBI to shew gum. I don't need to quote what Paul told us to do for brothers in need. I need help can you help me?

Christ did not ask unbelievers that kind of question you are asking me before he helped them not to talk of his own person. Learn to live like christ that is why we are called christians, it is not by lip service irritation name calling abi answering.

Bro I did WOFBI on scholarship. I never had any plan to join WOFBI. It was my story that took me to church on tuesday and I started WOFBI on wednesday.

The money I spent during WOFBI is what I could have used to find something doing. After WOFBI, I cannot transport myself to church again and feeding became difficult. That was when they abandoned me.

Please read with understanding first before you comment. Did you not see where I told him that I will need welfare before joining WOFBI and he agreed?
There is an arrogant spirit even in your writing.
And your motive for joining WOFBI was wrong and never a display of faith.
Is WOFBI now the reason for your predicament?
I pray God heals you but the way you are responding to people even God will be persuaded to do so.

My friend, you need faith when you need anything from God. There's no faith, you went for WOFBI program just to please the Pastors so they will help you. Like someone stated, you needed help from man and you got man's help.

If you actually need help from God, you need to humble yourself, trust Him with all your heart. Your trust on man won't help you and you actually came on this platform to complain not because you want to really condemn the church but because you still believe someone will help you on this forum. You think you will draw sympathy from people (Probably Freeze followers) by condeming the church. You either trust God or trust man.

I pray you get healed, but I still think you need Jesus in your life. Give your life to Christ bro. You can't intimidate God for Him to do things your way. It's either God's way or you continue waiting for a God hater on Nairaland that will tell you to send your account info after casting the church with you. I also don't think being rude will help you either. Jesus loves you.

I don't understand, did living faith suppose to take care of your living and health?

By saying this I got to know that you did not understand. WOFBI itself is the not my problem. What cause my problem is the agreement I had with the pastor which he failed to fulfil. I wrote this in the op but it seems people do not want to see it.

God knows about me very well. There was a time those that want to do me anyhow see anyhow. Those that knew of it will never trouble me. Wasn't going to church then for God was all I have. I gave even when I don't have enough as far as am better than the person. Now I said let me not forsake the gathering of the brethren and they pushed me away with this. It broke my heart because I cannot do such a thing to any man even if the person is not a christian. Maybe that was why I had heart attack.

Even if all the christians here did not help me...I will live on. I won't die. My response to some people is because I no longer understand how christians behave these day. If christ should tell them that he had heart issues and they did not help him. They start asking 'when?'

Bro it is not arrogance. I confidently know that most people here are wrong with their approach. Some of them are just here to defend 'winners chapel.' whatever happens to the needy(the body of christ) they don't care. They are all wrong. I will live to do that great good that has been eluding me all these while for the least of his brothers. It is already settled in heaven.

So people go to WOFBI to please pastors? Will the pastors smile for them or give them food? Are you saying that it is only Daddy freeze's followers that can help people while pastors followers cannot? I see.

Keep your prayers to yourself bro. You need it more so that you can read and understand. It will also help you to stop imagining things out of context when you read.

the only mistake u made was not asking the pastor what going to WOFBI got to do with the help you need.

you to understand that WOFBI is not a bible school but an indoctrinating school. that is why a pastor in redeemed can not automatically become a pastor in winners without been sent to WOFBI for indoctrination before he or she can qualify to be a pastor in winners. vice vicer

Bro I made no mistake. I understand what WOFBI was suppose to do. The agreement that made me spend all I have without getting welfare is where they wrong me.

If he had told me there won't be any welfare to support myself I could have postponed WOFBI and do it some other time.

Is it not wickedness for you to allow somebody spend all he has and later tell him you are not giving him anything while you had agreement with him?
Re: How I Was Deceived At Winners Chapel And Had A Heart Attack by Emmanystone: 11:35pm On Feb 23, 2018
Boomark:
I decided to join winner chapel around June 2017 after staying away from church for so long. And in the month of july I resigned from work due to some issues I had there. There was a day I attended a crusade in my area, and a woman called me aside and asked me what I do for a living. I told her I don't have any job. She said ok, that she got a message that am to become an evangelist. One of the female ministers from the crusade also told me the same thing that night, that I have a call. I began to wonder why God have not reveal anything to me if it is true. Some years ago, someone from the catholic church told me that am to become a reverend father and I rejected that. I believe that all Christians are 'called' by God.

I went to winners chapel Osisioma, the Aba headquarter and met the then assistant resident pastor for him to guide me on what to do concerning the message I received during the crusade. I told him everything and some of my personal life experience. He encouraged to join WOFBI(word of faith bible institute), a 2 week bible study program and to also speak to the resident pastor. I met the resident pastor and told him my story. He urged me to join WOFBI first. I told him I have little money with me since am no longer working and that I will need welfare to support myself if I should join the program. He asked when I joined the church and I told him. So he said I should go on and join the program, and also meet my homecell leader concerning the welfare.

The heart attack
At the end of the program, I went to the resident pastor and told him that I have not received any divine direction. He told me to continue praying and also meet the homecell leader again concerning the welfare. I met the cell leader and he assured he is working on it. Days amount to weeks and I became frustrated. He kept on telling me that he will do something about it. My neighbours were the ones helping me sometimes with food. I could not believe what happened to me. I sent message to the then resident pastor(he was transferred to another church at the end of the program in August 2017) whom I first met and narrated what am passing through and my poor health condition, he never replied me nor called me. A pastor told me later that I must be paying my tithe and have been a member for upto 6 months to benefit from the welfare program. If they had told me this in the beginning I wouldn't have joined the WOFBI program. I would have known how to manage myself with the little I had then. So while I was still wondering what happened to me I had a heart attack. I prayed that God should not let the heart problem to kill me. Since then till now I still feel pressure in my heart area and have not been able to go to hospital because I don't have the money.

I was hoping that one day I will get money to treat myself. I never wanted to bring this here but I notice some sharp pain in my heart that woke me up early this morning while lying on my stomach. Out of fear I had to write this here. My brothers and sisters please I need help to treat myself.
Did you pay any money for the Wofbi? because Wofbi is totally free for New Comers.

It's obvious you went to church to survive yourself.

Pls why did you resigned from your job? You are so insincere in your write up.

All that happened here is not what I never expected. The lies, the twisting, turning blind eye, speaking out of context, name calling were all expected.

Argument with people here have end o. Gave myself yesterday to talk as I want.

Bro I tried to reach them but was ignored, maybe because I don't have money. The cell leader has never called me since then to at least know how am doing since he knew my condition. We are just very few for him to forget me. This is more than 5 months since then and am not expecting anything from them.

I have stopped going to church and this is the second time after Assemblies of God. I told God in my prayers that I will not go. I don't want to be thinking of any pastor this way during sermon..."this man can deceive or can be heartless when someone is in need." I gave them enough time to be sure am not making a mistake and that it was actually a deceit.
But that is exactly what many of your so-called Pastors/ preachers/ prophets/ GOs/ Bishops/ Deacons/ Priests really are. The false prophets Jesus Christ warned against.
If you read the book of Matthew, you will see that in almost every chapter where the words of Jesus Christ are found are warnings against people falling for the deception that is there fellow man. He talked of the devil but 90% of the warnings uttered by Jesus Christ were against falling for the lies and deception of men who claim to come in the name of God.

Jesus Christ never said you had to attend church to fellowship with Him or the Spirit of God, nor did he say you needed to mingle with other believers in order to do His will. If Jesus Christ is who you want, you find Him by following His truth in your own life. You have heard of Him. Obey His commandments to you which you can find in the Gospels.

Thanks a lot bro. I went back after this posting this topic to see if I can make things right but another round of dribbling started. From May 2018 to late 2019, we were planning to write a letter of application that was never written. The coordinator in charge rejected the one I wrote and said she would write a more presentable one by herself. She started come today come tomorrow and I was patiently coming today and going tomorrow to avoid being blamed for not coming. Until ending of 2019 it dawned on me that I was in the midst of wicked and heartless beings that go to church. Their Pastors inclusive.

A pastor that will ignore you the more if you ask him "would he ignore you if you are Lazarus seeking his help" is more heartless than the rich man. He even blocked me when I told that I don't know why they did what they did to me.

I now understand better and those supporting them here who knew nothing about what happened are just willing tools in the hands of the devil.

I don't think you need to speak ill of any person at all even if they deny you of your needed help. If you have sincerely directed all the energies exerted on making your life better, focussing on God, you would have been here to give testimony and not complaining of being neglected after several appeal.

Did you join them purposely to have your needs met?

Was God not there when Lazarus was suffering and died? Was he not praying to God for him to be taken to be with the Lord? When you answer correctly I will know if my prayers are waste of time or if there are things he expects of humans to for the least of his brothers.

I developed the issue after joining them and after doing WOFBI. if the pastor had told me there won't be any welfare when I told him I had little to sustain me through WOFBI, I won't bother joining in the first place or come here to say anything.

This just like telling someone to come from come from Port Harcourt to Sokoto that you will give him transport fare. And when the person got to Sokoto, you made him believe you will do as you said. But when he exhausted the little he has left, you left him stranded. This is an illustration of what caused everything.

Thank God you are not Lazarus and l don't think your case is as terrible as his was.

My only advice for you here is that you seek the face of God for his help, and stop looking unto man for help. Man is limited, but God is not.

Oftentimes, when our eyes are fixated on getting a window opened for us, we may be denying ourselves of God's wide open door of blessings cos we aren't looking in that direction.

Take time to read the scriptures quoted below,
they will be of help to you.

Peace.

Psalm 108:12
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Bro I never said I was trusting any man. The topic is clear and it is about how Winners Chapel pastor lied and deceived me which resulted to my heart issue.

Your advice should be on telling winners pastors and members to stop lying and deceiving people who came to church to seek to know God.

"Thank God you are not Lazarus" sounds like what Jesus taught there is just useless to every other person except for a certain Lazarus and that particular rich man. Thank God I am not a Sameritan, so everything Jesus said about the good Samaritan has nothing to do with me. Thank God I don't rear animals, so everything Jesus said about the good shepherd has nothing to do with me. Thank God Jesus' brothers died long ago, so the least of his brothers are dead and buried long time ago, i have not seen them, etc.

James 2:15-17
New International Version
15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

The rich man must have read something similar to this and said, thank God Lazarus is not my brother. He should go and focus more on God and stop looking unto man for help. He is not prayerful that is why he is still like that. He must be doing something wrong that is why God is not reasoning him.

You have not answered my question about Lazarus. thank God you are not the answer.

Another one.

Why didn't God come down from heaven to help Lazarus since he knew Lazarus had a need but chose to punish the rich man?

We are pastors and church members that go to church every day but does not know what it means to be Christ-like. Christianity is not equal to prayer. Muslims and other people pray.

How many times has God come down from heaven to help you and those that you know?

How many times has God come down from heaven to help you and those that you know?

I will be honest with you here. These churches are businesses and are not really set up in such as way as to help those in need. so you are probably better off Finding God Himself than continuing to seek the help of these people in the way you have stated. Find God so He can help resolve your situation. Leave these world-churches to God as God is not blind to all that is done in His name.

What business do you think I have with Muslims, or you don't you understand what I wrote?

You have failed already by not knowing the right things to say.

Are you saying God is the one punishing me when I didn't do him any wrong? That he is the one that sent lying and deceitful spirit into the pastor and church leaders deceive me when I went to them for spiritual development? Was the purpose for him to send me away from the midst of wolves or to bring me closer to him? Does he take delight in punishing those who accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour over something they knew nothing about?

Thanks a lot bro. It has always been God and I. It is just that whenever one wants to join them in gathering (of brethren) they become willing tools in the hands of the devil.
