Apart from Epie-Atissa, there are several indigenous Urhobo-Isoko communities/ villages [e.g. Ofoni, Canaan, Anibeze, etc] located in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State. Even the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Works Mr Eghrujakpor, and former Commissioner for Education and who was also former Member representing Sagbama State Constituency in the State House of Assembly Mr Osusu, are from Urhobo-Isoko axis of Bayelsa State.

Ogbia is entirely different language from Ijaw. Both are not even related. In language classification' Ogbia is not even classified as Ijoid language, rather it's classified as Central Delta group of languages which also include the Abua, Odual, Kugbo, etc. The Central Delta group are placed under Cross River language category. What this means is that Ogbia as a language is more related to Efik-Ibibio and Ogoni languages than Ijaw language. In the same way Epie-Atissa are classified as an Edoid languages, and are more closely related to Bini, Ishan and Urhobo-Isoko languages than to Ijaw languages. It might also interest you to know that today, the umbrella name "Ijaw" is more a socio-political and geographical grouping than a language grouping. That is why in many Ijaw organisations meetings English is popularly used as medium of conversation because of language differences among themselves. Ijaw today can be regarded as people of different languages united by the same environment and culture, and agreed to work together for common destiny and goals. However there is a language called Ijaw and it's mostly spoken in parts of Delta State and Bayelsa State.

One question, what is this for?
you stupid hater of Niger Delta. when Gov Ambode commissions a project, do u usually question the purpose of such projects? some of you are just in your homes to celebrate when sometin bad hit the Ijaws or d Niger Deltans. stupid haters...before ur hatred for thr niger delta beclouds of your senses, let me highlight the usefulness of this facility.
it is more like an advanced college, built to enable the ijaw child worldwide to have access to modern education(which is a criteria for productivity)previously denied by the fraudulent Nigeria govt(almost all states in the federation has 3 federal colleges. one can't say same for bayelsa.
it is built to enable(educate)every niger deltan(it is not only for d ijaws) to devise better means of agitating when oppressed by ur likes instead of picking arms to which results to violence.

It will help you reactivate your dilapidated brain since you don't know that Nigeria politicians are created ghost projects and making it an avenue to loot us dry. I am a Niger Deltan FYI and in whatever way I can advise or contribute to make leaders in my region know that they are not helpiing is us, I will. Don't quote me if you don't have what to say

u should keep quiet. u r one of the likes who only celebrate military operations in the region.. shame on u if u r indeed a Niger Deltan.
as a solid Niger Deltan. i don't hate projects executed to benefits any components of niger delta. be it Urhobo. isoko.. ibibibio. ukwani. efik. bini. ijaws. eket. ikwereans. e.t.c. becux they r Niger Delta..Niger Delta is bigger dan any tribe or ur hates... if I were u. i will burry my head in shame..
