I paid only 2200 CAD $, as part of the Tuition Deposit requested by the school before sending original admission letter for visa application,

I applied with my personal statement of Account (GTBANK) of about N80million cash inflow and outflow for six months and closing balance of N5m plus
I also applied with another personal account (Zenith Bank) of about N70million cash inflow and outflow for 4months and closing balance of N2m plus

I also used my personal USD dollar account with Diamond bank of about 300k dollars inflow and outflow for about 4months and a closing balance of 14kdollars

and also submitted my company registration documents..

Hello

Good eveenig all;

I recently moved to Germany on a student study visa. I am studying another bsc course despite I have a bsc already from Nigeria.

I would love to apply for an Msc course in Canada though I can still get an Msc course here in Germany.

My question is will my application pull through since I'm already on a student study visa in Germany. What other challenges can I encounter?

Thanks

Just to point out, those reapplying for TRV, take the time to address not only previous reason for refusal, but every reason there can be further be for refusal. For example, I have lately been seeing CIC after denying people previously on financial grounds, on a second try by these applicants after the financial grounds that was the only reason of denial are addressed, I have seen CIC bring up new reasons for denials like purpose of visit or ties. CIC is so unpredictable. So the warning is if you are reapplying, take time to address not only previous reasons for denial, but every other potential ground that can be for refusal. Best wishes to those refiring.
pls how long does it take to have application approved n visa stamped after someone's passport gets to Accra if application is done online.thanx

some percentage of this TRV refusals are flimsy excuses by the CIC, this is why I would hardly bother myself deliberating on visa refusal on this page. I was once on this thread, applied to Canada and got refused after putting up a fantastic application. After being beneficial to some many who appreciated me here and to the saboteurs who criticised me that I am being blunt with the truth. I made an exit and deleted my old account. Some people on this thread can be or act some how. Regardless, I operated on a silent mode on German thread and active on its group and worked towards securing Masters admission in Germany which is as tedious and competitive like Canada. I got admitted to study Medical Systems Engineering (completely taught in English) in one of the tuition free universities in Germany with just paying 95€ every semester only which covers my transportation cost too.

I now have my study visa and will be travelling to Germany soon.

Wow, that is great and I am very happy for you!! Mighty Congrats you mighty man of varlor. Winners definitely don't quit! Only yesterday, a moniker I met here and I were talking . He said I am confusing you for someone. He told me that there are actually two sacrificial lambs here on this forum. The one that I thought you were the one after you announced your return as the 'sacrificial lamb,'was the guy who applied from UK for a Canadian student permit. He was rejected and had to come back home and reapply in Nigeria. He did that to test whether one can apply for TRV in another country if on a visiting visa. He called himself the sacrificial lamb so I thought you were him when you came back announcing yourself as the sacrificial lamb. It was not to my knowledge that you were also called the sacrificial lamb because you helped many people obtain TRV--that you were also nicknamed the TRV Doctor. The moniker I talked to revealed all that to me, that you actually tried 3 times yourself for Canada TRV but didn't get it. He said that is the origin of the reference to you as the sacrificial lamb--because you helped many but you yourself couldn't get it. The moniker mentioned noticing you active on the German student visa thread, but that you had also deleted all your entry there and left.

At any length, I am glad to make your acquaintance. Go and do us proud!!! Best wishes with your studies.

Yes I agree with you 100 percent that some of the denials by CIC is flimsy and just because they can. In fact some of their denials doesn't make any sense. How else do you explain someone denied first time strictly on financial and when that is addressed on a second application, they bring ties and assets against him? Sorry with your experience with the critics here on NL who can't handle blunt truth. They always want people who will lie to them and give them false hopes is their nature.

Hello Frank,
Thanks for your assistance,

I temporarily put my application on hold to clarify something.
A friend advised that I most likely will be refused visa for the program which I have a admission for; 2 yrs diploma in project management (co-op) at Canadian college Vancouver. She says that the V.O will think that I am a migrant since I have a 2nd class upper in chemical engineering with 2 yrs experience applying to a college instead of a university

Please I need your input as I intend to convince the V.O using my SOP that I intend to return and manage my dad's construction projects using the knowledge and co-op experience .

cindelinc,

Your friend is perfectly correct Sir/Ma. You have a good CGPA 2.1 that can yield you a masters program. A visa officer will be wondering why you decided to go for a diploma program in project management that is no way related to your previous studies/job role, why not masters degree to show progression in studies/career, why not university instead of college.

My best advise is to stick for a masters degree that will be relevant to your previous studies in chemical engineering and to your 2 years working experience in the chemical field. Also go for university instead of a college. With this, you will have more chances of getting approval and save yourself the stress of cracking your brain to convince a Visa officer.

Reasons behind this, is because, the rate at which these visa officers denies applicants of their visas now a days is tremendously alarming and I don't advise any applicant to put their application at risk, all in the name of "LET ME TRY MY LUCK". Moreover, I don't think a visa officer will believe your motivation to study and explanation of coming back to your father's company after your studies, is something that can compel your return back home, in as much as there are so many applicants out there with the same aspirations like yours. So, most visa officers are use to this phrase...... "I'm coming back home to join/work for my father's/mother/uncle/aunty company or continue my job blah blah blah... These are normal phrases people use on their SOP, try establish strong reasons for coming back not just this. Discuss more on how your acquisition of a masters degree in this program will be of paramount benefit to your home country and your career prospects in Nigeria.

Finally, please do yourself good by going for a masters program that will be beneficial to you as a person and to your prospects back in Nigeria.

All the best!

You shouldn't have any issue, just package your app well and you will get it. The scrutiny and processing time should be lesser compared to you applying from Nigeria

Well noted Frank!!

But i believe we actually submitted enough file/facts to the VO for the first application.
Please can what else do you think can be add up for the second submission,as the agent is still with most of the copies of the documents.Do you think the VO will not want to know why one application was rejected and if they have sort it out.
Now the issue that the VO raised for rejection, can one sight it in the current SOP/Sponsors letter as what has been treated/resolved with proof or we should be silent about it.Does it really matter?

Expecting your response.
Biakwa,

Of course yes! Any visa officer that will be responsible in reviewing applicant next Visa application will definitely go through their GCMS Data files to find out the factual reasons behind the refusal of the applicant previous application and check if applicant have shown concerns to their previous refusal grounds. This is the essence of ordering applicant file before reapplication.

As I said earlier, after tackling insufficient funds raised in the previous application, make sure you tackle other vital clauses like home ties, personal assets, current employment situation etc.. As a new visa officer might raise this refusal grounds after tackling insufficient funds, so while re-applying don't just face the refusal ground in which you were denied, try as much as possible to tackle the rest of the reasons that can lead to visa refusal. Cross all T's and dot every i's.

Yes! It very important to have a separate letter where you can address the concerns of the visa officer regarding the previous refused application, you should list out the things you have done to show that you have meet the requirements for a study permit. This letter can be titled LETTER OF EXPLANATION, it should be written by the applicant and not the sponsor.

Please find the attachment, I believe this will go a long way in constructing your letter of explanation to the visa officer regarding the previous refused application. Make sure you order for your GCMS note. Beware of plagiarism and don't copy verbatim. Thank you!

All the best!

There is no perfect application. Every application could stand to be improved. A second or third VO could look at things from a different perspective than the first and decide to side with you. Maybe the first VO got up on the wrong side of the bed and in the nature of discretion, just wasn't having a nice day and decided to deny many applicants. Chances are that a second or third try, a VO might not have woken up on the wrong side of the bed is improved. That is why people reapply--to improve their chances and improve on a previous application, presenting a stronger one given what they learnt from previous refusal. I have seen people who were not successful on a first try become successful on a second or third try. At any length, all is well that ends well. Germany is equally a fantastic choice and has the same opportunities and even better in some realms (engineering and automotive technology) than Canada! Congratulations!!

The only challenges I can think of is you started a bsc already. With your most current study transcript, schools would be extremely hesitant to accept you into a masters program. Except if you want to finish the BSC and apply. If a school in CAnada actually admits you, I don't foresee any visa troubles in Germany. You are eligible to apply with your student status in Germany without coming back to Nigeria. Most of the visa problems are in Nigeria. It's gets progressively earsier the further you are away from Nigeria.

Evening house, am sure we all had a great day.please I wanna ask two quick questions cos am planning of re-firing .
1. For PGD applications, apart from someone having 2:2, what other reasons can one use to convince the VO why he is choosing PGD instead of Masters. (Please for those of you that have gotten ur TRV with PGD, please ur contribution will be appreciated ).
2. I learnt the police report isn't an important document when applying and also Can one use a police certificate done in September last year for an application by March ending cos I spent 25k for the one I did in September last year, ND I don't think I have that much now for police certificate. Please I will appreciate ur contributions. Regards

Police Character Certificate is between 4k and 10k.

Depends on how good your negotiation skills are.

Stop paying 25k, Biko

Best wishes

Lol! I, Frankrobbn1 advertising 3rd party services?. I want to believe that you must be referring to the label on the image.
The fellow needed assistance and for real I never knew I was indirectly advertising a prohibited service. I only pasted the image so that the applicant in question and people of the same situation like this can learn from it and have a clear picture on how to address the concerns of the visa officer regarding their previous refused application and NOTHING ELSE. I never had any ulterior motive and I can't do anything to deter the image of this great forum.

Hi fam,

Thank you for your great work here. Pls I have another question o.

After looking for different schools where I can continue as a graduate student (Master's), all effort has been abortive. Since my GPA is not strong (3.28 or 5).

I told my uncles living in Australia and they told me to go for a diploma or certificate program instead. I have made my research about different schools and I have seen some colleges and universities I can apply to for a diploma degree in GIS.

Please, how visible is this journey I am about to embark on. I want to start applying next week for September resumption.

Also, I want to know about the fees. If the tution fee is $9k is it the exact amount I need to have inside my account or I need to have additional amount of money?

Can I use a cooperative organization I am running as my sponsor?

I will appreciate answers from you all.

Thanks

Hi

First off, I might be wrong be it's almost too late to start applying for September 2018 admission.

Also you're applying for a pgd. Considering your cgpa is a 2:1 (not sure) , you may have difficulty convincing the VO why you chose a diploma instead of a masters. Also the diploma course you're going for, if it's not very similar to your first degree or work experience (if any), you'll have such a hard time convincing the VO and you're inviting refusal based on purpose of visit.

Also if your proposed course is a one year program, that will raise another red flag. You're better off applying for 2 year diploma programs in universities (not colleges)

Then as regards money, you have to show proof of funds for your one year tuition plus a minimum of $10k for living expenses in the first year. If your program is longer than one year, you have to drop evidence of an income source which can sustain your future costs.

Also you're advised to use personal accounts and not cooperative or business accounts. The only way non personal accounts can fly is if your sponsor is the sole signatory of the account. Also if you're stating that the cooperative is your sponsor then you'll have to really convince the VO why they are sponsoring you and what they stand to gain from it.

Hope this helps

Good afternoon sir and ma,

Pls kindly give a comprehensive information about landed property.

How to transfer of ownership from brother to brother or father to son or father in-laws to son in-laws etc.

If I have a land of my own, what documents should I pursue that would be useful for Canada traveling.

Any surveyor or experience person should give a valid details.

Like me I have a landed property in Ekiti,
I have a land in ogun state
My father has a house in Ekiti
My elder brother has a house in ekiti
My brother has a house in ONDO state

How do you advise to me to make use of this for landed property for travelling, but no documents on them for now

I need your advise or it only landed property in the city that is being used for Canadian travelling.

We need comprehensive lecturers on this, elders in the house, experienced people, surveyor, etc

Hello Everyone,

I have been a silent reader here for some time now but haven't asked any question because I haven't started processing my TRV. I got admission to the University of Regina for a PhD degree. My supervisors have confirmed this as well as the admissions coordinator but I haven't received my admission letter yet and heard anything about funding. Although as at last two weeks I was told that I would receive the admission information in the coming days, I haven't heard from them until now. Any advise on what to do or how long it takes to hear from UofR and if they provide funding for PhD students.
