Hi all what is the best advise for me please as regards choice of programme that will fly for visa and PR purpose.
First degree in chemistry and work experience in this field.
As an advise by seniors, one can do PDG in teaching which is one year but after all search and contacts to all applicable Universities, the PGD teaching is now converted to Masters in Teaching, which makes it 2 years.

Is it advisable I go for a masters in teaching or chemistry programme?

A thousand apologies.
These are the accreditated programs that will allow you register as listed by the registration body for teachers in Western Australia(for example) . They are all valid for registration (but check accreditation expiry date of the course sha) and EDUCATION PGDs are very much acceptable too, however, only apply from the ones listed here. Your agent doesn't know what he/she is saying and you yourself don't understand what I said.
1. Apply for accredited PGD in teaching/education which is a 12month course
2. As you are graduating from this PGD, apply for any masters you really always wanted in the first place extending your stay in Australia. At the same time apply for your PR with the teaching/education PGD
3. While enrolled in this 2nd Msc, wait for PR to be approved/granted
4. Continue with or drop out of Msc, the choice is yours

House, please render your friendly, brotherly, candid and realistic advice to me. I have two previous visa refusals from UK and US. They are both visiting visa issue. The UK was based on finance while the US was the general blue paper they give.
The question now is, How do I address these issues so as to clear the doubts of the VO.
Note : I have travelled to one of the South African countries last year.

Most times we know the answers ourselves, we just need reinforcement. If you have had any visa refusal before, you should say it as it was. The reason you were refused. Please don't even lie about it, because when e burst nobody here go even answer you as to how you will go about. Just say the truth and leave the rest to God. Provided the reasons are not for crime or any serious offense. The one on finance is not an issue, that blue paper stuff, I don't know what it is. But which ever way, don't even think about lying, they always run their checks.
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by meelife: 7:58pm On Apr 23, 2018
As advised ,complete and put in all information of your previous refusals and give the reasons which the refusing country gave as they will verify.I know someone who did not mention UK visa refusal..the VO wrote him and asked ,later he provided information and was granted his study visa.
So previous refusals from other country is not a reason to deny visa when it's not a criminal case.
Since you know what the UK reason is,for US just state or summarise the sentence provided in the blue form.Probably among the info in the form they may have ticked a reason among a set of options.
Remember to provide all the vital info from it.

Now to clear the doubts of the VO,ensure you address the reasons UK and US gave.
E.g for your application ensure you meet Australia financial requirements etc.

Hello, I heard from an agent that treasury bills dont count as SOA, how true is this assertion?
Treasury bills is an asset if you can convince the VO that the gain from it will be use for your maintenance in Australia and also to pay school fees also you went for Treasury bills because it yield more faster and more profitable than having cash in Bank

hello house, I have been a silent observer on this thread. I will love to have your opinion on this issue

I studied comp engr in a private uni and graduated with 2.1. I have no experience on this field. I will like to specialize in network security or data analysis/science. I want to know which of them have good prospects as regards seeking job after school and getting a PR after studies. Also getting admission into schools, I read somewhere that some schools don't accept peeps from private uni.

with my profile should I go ahead to seek for admission or I should look somewhere else? what are my prospects and what attentives should I consider(other countries to look at for)?

Good Day please help advice. i have 5 years experience as a valuer and i studied urban and regional planning in my ND and Estate Management in my HND, i want to assess as a valuer please advice what i have to do. if i have to assess just with my HND. stkings1@yahoo.com
I think valuer is skill level 1 occupation ( please check it up). If that's it, then HND wouldn't work, even universities that run it as 4 years course wouldn't fly too. However, if it's skill level 2, you're good to go. You may need go to Oz PR site on nairaland to get better input. Shikenan

You should only answer when you are sure. Don't dash people's hopes with uninformed answers.
