The bomb blast which happened earlier today at a mosque in Mubi, Adamawa State - has left scores dead and many injured. A businessman identified as Umar Jibiril was among those killed in the explosion.

The blast occurred this afternoon while worshippers were holding Zuhr (Afternoon) prayer.

The explosion was reportedly caused by a teenage boy who set off his suicide vest.

May the souls of the dead rest in peace.
