Yorubas will regret what they are doing to INNOSON.

Their anger is simply because he did not build that manufacturing plant in Lagos.

How many investments does the Yorubas have in nnewi, Enugu or elsewhere in Igboland?

Both groups (Yorubas and Igbos) have always been politically silly since colonial times. As exemplified by this moronic rant.

Igbos, yorubas are not your enemies; and Yorubas, Igbos are not your enemies.

The both of you are being played against each other.

Until both groups realize who their enemy is, they will continue fighting each other blindly.

You should speak for yourself. Yoruba man will not feed you. Igbo man will not feed you. Why raise the issue of superiority. Where is superiority in a country that needs help? Yoruba and Hausa have ruled Nigeria many years and this is the result of their superiority, telling on economies, security, education etc. Nigerians should be humble at this time and not claiming this and that everywhere.

Unto Innoson, you should have appeared to court orders. Fear of injustice, I know. Otherwise, hear them, try to know where your system wronged and see if you can negotiate your company freedom. business CEO should not be dragged to court. That is why companies registered their companies as cooperative bearing limited liabilities. Nigeria Justice system is full of injustice or lack or knowledge.

Ijaya123:

What has Yorubas got to do with Innoson travails? You should rather be greatful to the Yorubas because when he needed loans to do business, where were all the Igbo banks? Only a Yoruba bank came to his assistance. Yorubas deserve gratitude, not attitude from the Igbos.

They hold no grudges against him. He can set up his business anywhere he desires. Lagos is already overflowing with investments. Go to Ogun state and see the spillover effect.

Yorubas do not need to have investments in Nnewi, Enugu or anywhere in Igboland to Prove that they are superior to anybody. That's why they say "charity begins at home". They get things done and achieve result quietly without boasting or chest-beating.

Innoson is a legal entity and can be represented in court by it's team of lawyers. What do they need the presence of a major shareholder for if not to victimize and ridicule him?

Incorporated Companies can be sued and be represented by it's team of lawyers, it's only enterprise which is a one man business the individual will be sued.

Whatever the details, they're dealing with a corporate organisation,INNOSON and not individual Innocent Chukwuma.

You're not making any sense!

My point is, have they exhausted all possible avenues of arresting him before rushing to sensationally declare him wanted? The courts can declare him wanted only after going to effect arrest at his home or office and he is not found there!

So because of what happened last time when police went to his home to arrest him, it therefore means that he would be declared wanted in perpetuity, since the police are 'scared' of the reaction that would follow if they went to his home or office?

I dont think you looked up term or understood its relevance. They did sue the company but if court decides they can hold owners liable it's legal. There's already supreme court case on that gave precident.

The consequences of recognizing the separate personality of a company is to draw a veil of incorporation over the Company. One is therefore generally not entitled to go behind or lift this veil. However, since a statute will not be allowed to be used as an excuse to justify illegality or fraud it is a quest to avoid the normal consequences of the statute which may result in grave injustice that the Court as occasion de-mands have to look behind or pierce the corporate veil."

I never believed totally this until I listened this morning to a video/audio clip sent to my whatsapp where the speaker, a Yoruba, was busy stating that Igbos have made no positive contribution to economic growth in Yoruba land, especially Lagos as a case-study. He claimed to be replying the claims of the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo, who said that 40% of structures in Yoruba land especially Lagos are owned by the Igbos.

According to the Yoruba speaker, Igbos only brought negativities and crimes such as piracy, armed robbery, rape, kidnapping, and drugs to Yoruba land, and ultimately made Yoruba land a global dumping ground.

I will not go into details stating all that the speaker talk about. However, I will not fail to state that the hatred in his speech is indescribable. He went forward to call on Yoruba youths for action, stressing that they are out and ready to send Igbos out of Yoruba land no matter the cost. According to him, they will not, like their parents did, condone such again.

All these made me wonder if Nigeria will ever be one. I really wonder the essence of topics such as "National integration" that I was taught in JSS1.

Marrying these events with the ordeal of my present coursemate in the hand of his Yoruba friend and lecturers during his studies in Ilorin made me conclude to avoid Yorubas from today, except those who prove beyond reasonable doubt to be friendly.

I just pity Igbos who have become too blind to read the handwriting on the wall.
you can't use the opinion of one person to conclude for an entire race. I hate this ethnic discussion because a poor man in enugu is same as poor man in osun because poverty doesn't recognize ethnic or religious peeps....

Mech'unu there. There they go again.
For your information, my department has a very large contingent of Anambra students, and not once ever has their tribe bbeen brought up. I am not denying that tribalism exists (don't get me started about my experience in Enugu!) but too many Igbos would rather blame tribalism than face the consequences of their actions!

If you understood my post well, I never meant your highlighted part of my text make me conclude.

My conclusion was drawn from various incidents, not one. Therefore, I don't see any reason highlighting that particular part.

Moreover, I believe as an educated fellow or one going through the process, you could have passed your message without insults - my belief though.
