OPEN LETTER TO OLUWASEUN OSEWA (NAIRALAND)

Dear OLuwaseun Osewa,

It is disheartening and quite unfortunate that you have a biased attitude towards some of the stories been uploaded on your forum (Nairaland). You are going against some of your rules and policies, as well as showing favouritism and double standard to some group of people.

You delete some posts that speak truth and addresses some cogent issues in the country. To mention but few "Who is afraid of Igbos". An article written to x-ray the political history of Igbo relationship with entire nation was removed within few days while Ochereome Nnanna write up calling "Yorubas sophisticated morons" was allowed to trend for weeks before you decide to remove it. However, Ochereome Nnanna article reflects tribalism, ethnic jingoism and political insurgency.

Questions for you:
- Has Nairaland be bought over?
- Are you working for a political party or tribe?
- Is the credibility and integrity of Nairaland still intact?
- Has Nairaland been hijacked?

It is clear that some of the rules of this forum are just there for all to see and there is no adherence to the rules. There are different people with different opinions, as a professional blogger, you should not remove a post that doesn't suit your taste.

I implore you to urgently react to these issues and do the needful before Nairaland become a junk forum.

Signed:

Olufunke Awoyale

Attached to this letter are rule 2 and 7 factor

1. "Who is afraid of Igbos" is a justification of adhering strictly to the rules and regulations as stated and stipulated in rule 2 of Nairaland while Ochereome Nnanna write up calling Yorubas "sophisticated morons" is not.

2. You have breach and go against rule 7 which preach against parochialism, tribalism, nepotism and political insurgency. You are now the promoter of the aforementioned factors.

I hereby demand unreserved apology from you to address your unjustifiable and unfairness attitude towards Yoruba nation and every affected section of the Yoruba extraction

This man is a fake journalist,a journalist should not be bias in his doing but as for this man reverse is the case

Our problem in Nigeria is insincerity and I am smarter than u attitude. The Igbos supported other Nigerians to produce presidents ,Shagari 2nd republic president to Obasanjo to Goodluck even this present regime has some Igbo supporters, yet they accuse Igbos of not supporting other ethic groups in politics
An individual Will make a statement instead of attacking that individuals for his faulty statement they will resort to abusing the Igbo race.Fortunately no matter how hard they tried Igbos will suvive. They know as well as I do know that they are not smarter than Igbos ,when time comes water will find its level.

I cannot concur by the biased, prejudiced, partiality and sentimental of Nairaland owner/blogger... It is disheartening, unprofessional, unbecoming and inappropriate to be deleting some news that doesn't suit his taste. This platform is meant to address and attend to cogent and reasonable ongoing things in the country.

Ndi Igbo is the only pillar holding “contract Nigeria” to its foundation; the single hand carrying Nigeria. Did I hear your opinion differ? It’s all clear-even as every second ticks by. Biafra remains the biggest nightmare which torments the beds of every heart and hand which holds Nigerians together in modern slavery. Biafra is the Karma of evil doers in Nigeria, the repercussions of years of selfishness which breeds wickedness and callousness. Ask yourselves: “who dreads Biafra the most, who really feels more vulnerable at the sound of this great name?" Only in answering that shall you truthfully come to terms with the depths of your wickedness and the superficiality of this country called Nigeria; perhaps you could save what you have left of yourselves. Without Ndigbo, Nigeria would quickly decay like a corpse refrigerated for centuries. If your opinion, however, differs from this truth, and you believe that Nigeria will suddenly wake up from its dead bed once Biafra comes, then speak to your peoples; gather your leaders and speak with one voice, saying: “Nigeria will get well when the Igbos leave”. Let your convictions be heard just as mine is-all over the world. It doesn’t matter how many accusations have been labeled against Ndigbo, Ojukwu, or/and Biafra, it holds no sand if every accusing finger in Nigeria continually points towards South-East; Biafra remains both the dread of Nigerian leaders, and the hope of Nigerians. Biafra is the freedom that will break the Nigeria bondage and set Nigerians free. Ndigbo are now home to the many names anyone would conceive of calling us, these make us stronger. Igbos love money, Ok; Ndigbo claim to be the wisest, hmmm; Igbos are wicked, I see; their land is landlocked, really? They want Biafra yet they have nothing apart from trade, tell me something; everyone knows that Igbos do not go to school, I’m listening; Igbos cannot unite, really? In a fruitless attempt to shut out the blaring truth, every hand rises to answer the Igbo question; yet the obvious most important but unanswered question after all these still remains: why do Nigerians then dread the Biafran state? Why has the federal government of Nigeria done everything to oppose this, including killing innocent people and setting the guilty ones free? And why do people from a particular location cry out in protest when Biafra is mentioned, as if their mother is about to be taken away from them? Patriotism is ruled out. The obvious answer to this is simple: Biafra carries Nigeria, Ndigbo are the only single pillar keeping Nigeria in its place.....

Hausa fulani and yorubas are the ones afraid of igbos........

they have consistently and wickedly even viciously ensured that Igbos race are wiped out from the surface of the earth.......

Since 1945 uptill today.......approx over 6millions igbo lives have been lost.....and still counting....

The terrorist in aso rock with his allies has made it a point of duty to continue the killing for no just cause.......

We trusted them but they betrayed that trust....even uptill today.

....And this is the bane of Nigeria underdevelopment & extreme poverty. Nigeria no more matter in the international skim of things. Societal injustice is the same as institutional corruption. And this leads to institutional collapse, which again leads to dysfunctional and systemic failures in all levels. Under this condition, plus impunity and religious killings, the outcome is extreme poverty and underdevelopment. The yoruba man painted a picture of Igbos vs the rest of Nigeria. This is an age old manifestation of Yoruba hatred towards the Igbos(always looking for other tribes to copt into there hatred towards the Igbos). In today's Nigeria, is the killer fulani herdsmen and there Yoruba supporters vs the rest of Nigeria. And if you want to test if its the truth, the next civil war will not see middle belt, southern kaduna, northern Christians or Niger deltans fighting the Igbos again.

The hatred, tension, tribal sentients and bigotry that has shrunk the nation today was started by the igbos through the first coup and through avoidable war that was started by the Biafran soldiers.
But I believe if everyone can forget the past and look into the future, heal the wounds and forget our differences, Nigeria will be a stronger and better nation and be the pride of Africa and a true giant. Our diversity is indeed our strength......
WRONG.

The killings of igbos started even before the coup, so don't play the saint here cuz u are also filled with hate.

Nigeria is ours, we belongs to this country and we ought to be one irrespective of tribe, religion, sex and territory.
Igbo should respect other tribes and stop causing problems to the country...
God bless Nigeria

Are Yorubas really sophisticated m***ns?, or cannot apply critical reasoning in ther analysis of things?.

...like seriously between Igbos and fulani herdsmens/ their yoruba lackeys who elected them into power......., which group are causing trouble in Nigeria today?.

Yorubas, weather some of you like or not, you are in support of crime of genocide against humanity via Tinubu.

Odingo and the rest igbos here, if you are waiting for other tribes to suddenly "like" igbos and on account of that, dash you the Presidency, you are on a long thing. Because most other Nigerians dont just like you and they are justified for not liking igbos. So many reasons i wont bother going into.

Igbos should quickly do two things:

1} Develop igbo land aggressively, and 2} Inhabit Igboland—your brightest and best should stay in the east.

Failure to do these will ensure that other Nigerians will continue to view igbos with scorn and derision.

Igbo problem is very easy to solve but they prefer crying that others hate them.

And if all these fail, prepare "adequately" for war.
I'm well aware that your envious against the Igbo race will not do you good but keep on haunting.
