Wow, what an amazing collection amassed.

Are these private artifacts, or can be found in the museum?
Art, Graphics & Video / Re: These Apocalyptic Paintings Show The Terrifying Near Future Of Our Lagos City by SAFO(m): 9:21pm On Sep 05, 2014
It's good to see that there are some who can think outside the box and not accept the norms of society as they've been taught to us since birth. What's really terrifying once you understand the game that's being played, is that their solution to this is going to be a global culling of the population. Once the veil has been pulled, then you start to see the true meaning behind wars, famine, oppression, abortion rights and contraceptive measures.
Education / Re: Intelligence Over Creativity. by SAFO(m): 8:47pm On Sep 05, 2014
frankben: Creativity is a natural instinct but intelligence can be developed... One who is creative can build on intelligence but one who is intelligent might lack creativity and can't develop it... I think creativity gets the nod here.. smiley

You're almost on to it. Creativity comes from our intuitive knowing, it is formed in the right side of our brain. Almost everyone is a prisoner of the left side of the brain, this is where logic, language, structure and our general perception of everyday events form. What we refer to as intelligence or cleverness all comes from the left side of the brain. While those of us who are creative or artistic and act on our intuitive knowing, have more use of the right hemisphere. In other words, we can think outside the box. Notice people who are close minded or against any sort of change can never really be creative because they have essentially shut out the right side of their brain. Likewise, they could be some of the most intelligent people on the planet.

Man this dude is a playmaker, he caught his biggest catch today, a game winning TD against that stout Kansas City defense. I also remember a few years back when he torched the Texans for nearly 120 - yards receiving and 2 TDs

Teams better start worrying about him, he's the real deal.

swtcharissa: My dear it is lack of calcium not potassium,am talking from experience

My dear, low levels of both calcium and potassium can cause muscle cramps ... oh and magnesium as well

It's best to take a complete vitamin pill that includes all the supplements your body needs at the right dosage ... daily

nikkyshyne: Wow! This is creepy. I do believe my body system is on point undecided

Good but always drink lots of water, that's one of nature's best cures.
Car Talk / Re: How Do I Prevent Leg Cramps While Driving? by SAFO(m): 8:52pm On Nov 24, 2013
Increase your potassium intake i.e Bananas, tomatoes, potatoes etc. Also drink a lot of water so your kidneys can do their job and clean the impurities out of your blood.

Continuous muscle cramps lead to tearing down of the muscles and releasing substances from inside the muscle cells that can leak into your blood stream. High levels of these substances can cause issues like rhabdomyolysis which can cause kidney damage and be deadly if it goes unchecked. If your urine is red or brownish in color, there's a good chance that you might have rhabdo and your kidneys aren't functioning properly.

I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night grin

Science/Technology / Re: Technology, A Blessing Or A Curse? by SAFO(m): 6:09pm On Nov 06, 2013
One way it can be viewed as a curse is because it makes mankind weaker. Just like we're weaker than our father's generation, our children will be weaker than us and so on and so forth.

Anyone remember the movie WALL-E?
Science/Technology / Re: 9 Reasons To Be Scared Of Google by SAFO(m): 5:54pm On Nov 06, 2013
Good write up bros. Another one you could add is Play services apk on Android. This is basically like a master app on Android that you have entirely no control over. It can load, update itself and grant itself whatever permissions it needs to function without even your knowledge. If you try to uninistall it, it will literally break every core app and cause them not to function.

The premise of play services apk is good natured as it is intended to battle the fragmentation between devices, it keeps all android versions from as far back as gingerbread up to date with the latest core apps ie. Play Store, Gmail, Maps etc. So it's actually a good thing but with all that control, you tend to wonder, who really owns your device? You or Google?

Something is not adding up. The severity of his "alleged" crime does not coincide with your attempt to hack his Facebook account.

How do we know you're not some disgruntled boyfriend who wants to hack their girlfriend's account, or vice versa?
Nairaland / General / Damn 419ers Make Me Sick by SAFO(m): 11:08am On Nov 01, 2013
Why are our people so deceitful? I listed my samsung galaxy s4 on Craigslist, because I recently switched over to Verizon and purchased a Galaxy Note 3.

I've already had 4 callers contact me with outrageous sums of money, more than what I'm asking for, trying to get me to either give out my personal information or ship the phone off to somebody's pastor's cousin's wife's nephew in Nigeria. WTF? Even the last guy had the audacity to cuss me out, when I called him out for making our people look bad.

Memo to scammers, it's nearly 2014. It might be time to try & reinvent your game because that lame s*** is not working anymore.

Okay I'm done, I just felt like venting for a minute. grin

Family / Re: Wives: What will you do If you Discover Your Hubby Is Secretly Building A House by SAFO(m): 5:28pm On Oct 25, 2013
Oya, let's put the cold hearted truth out there that the wife may not want to hear. The fact is that, they're his siblings and will always be his siblings. You on the other hand may not always be his wife.

These are his brothers and sisters he grew up with through thick and thin since birth, he has a moral duty assuming he is the eldest to take care of them.. Yes, he's supposed to take care of you as well but ask yourself, is your marriage rock solid? As bad as it may seem you cant blame a man for handling his responsibilities. If i was in his shoes, I might do the same thing as well even if I catch wahala from my wife.

Business / Re: Sanusi: It's Illegal To Collect Dollar For Services Rendered In Nigeria by SAFO(m): 2:48am On Oct 24, 2013
With the way Obama and Co is running the country, the dollar is becoming valueless anyway. Ha Ha, who's going to want it then?

BTW, I don't see how anyone is going to enforce this in a rouge country. This is just all talk.

Let the process play out in the courts. Obviously he was convicted by a jury of his peers and whose to say that both the daughter and mother aren't lying now. There could be some monetary benefit if he was to be released.

An hour later.....still lmao at 42% out of 12% total population.

Who said you have to be smart as a comedian? grin

You still arguing with ol wanksta. Lemme kill what little bit of wind he has left.

Fact - Today there are approximately 600,000 more black men in college than in jail

Fact - The enrollment of black males increased from 693,044 in 2001 to 1,445,194 in 2011

Fact - For the last 10 years white America has falsely reported that the prison system accounts for more blacks incarcerated than in college.

And please don't bother responding with those regurgitated 09' numbers

50calibre:

What exactly are you driving at, is that what I said was wrong, or the figures are not that high?

When I say 80%, it's clearly a hyperbole and not concrete fact, it's more like a way to indicate a very high rate of something, e.g "that guy is like a million years old". I don't know if you get my point.

Notwithstanding, most people still understand the point I'm trying to make. You can take a look at the US DoJ statistics of incarcerations among African American men if you like and then judge for yourself.

AAs (male + female) make up about 13% of the American population, but AA guys make up approx 42% of all male inmates in the US. Match that with how many chose to go to college.

Still just a bunch of random numbers being thrown around. I still don't know how you surmise that a high exorbitant number of AA males such as your 80% lacks ambition or is below the evolutionary scale. Or is there some other evidence you want to cling to other than random dept of Justice statistics.

Probably best for you not to generalize much since you're really not any good at it.

Haha! funny boy, you amuse me. You have to understand i dont exchange barbs or banter with everyone, water finds its level so why not find your level son.

Look for someone else to exchange juvenile curses with, you aren't yet worth my stress. Come back with a sensible point, and then we can get into stats and numbers.

Bait taken

Okay why don't you start by explaining where you got your "80%" figure from since you like to dwell in stats & such.

Romance / Re: Is It Wrong For A Lady To Protect Herself In A Union by SAFO(m): 7:53pm On May 13, 2013
Monicasque: Now let me put it like this. So many times man seem to control everything. They even seem to control everyone's health. People we are living in dangerous times where there is HAI / AIDS and we all know that men are and will always be dogs ( anyone who thinks my statement is wrong WAKE UP). Now my question is, knowing what we know now about sicknesses and us wanting to show faith in our loved ones. you know how a guy can get if you show him that you do not trust him. Is it wrong for your wife or stable girl friend / fiance to suggest condom use? would you think she is cheating, crazy bla bla or would you think she is actually caring, wise etc. How would a lady suggest this to her boo without offending him. Please do not get me wrong. fellows we do love you but WE do not trust you. Any lady who trusts a man with her health has a suicide mission in her head bcoz a man will always and i mean always be a dog. Sisters are you scared of suggesting condom use in your marriage or stable relationship? I know marriage is supposed to be full of trust but lets face it, men are getting dirtier by the day and most married ladies die of aids? where are they getting it? from their loved one. who they trust with their hearts. Now peopel tell me, is wrong? is it too much to ask me a lady to ask him to protect both of them?

You know Monica in the rest of the sane world people actually do plan pregnancies and use condoms on a daily basis even though they're in relationships ..... just sayin

This should be normal practice anyway
