Hi everyone, please, please and please can I get a sample application letter format from anyone who has gotten a visa approval recently or even in the past. I really want to get it right the first time and I'm not too buoyant to use an agent. Thanks

Which route are you coming through? If it's school. Approach any of those agent. It's FREE!!!!! If they ask U to bring money. Swear for them. Lol ...
But it's free. Don't give any agency money. U just need to use the certified ones that most schools in Ireland use. You can Link in with Icasng. And ask.

But don't give any money please. They get their money from the school after everything is sorted for you. Thanks

Hey. Don't really know much about visiting visas, but I believe they have your application and maybe they have some backlog. You can keep chasing them like every two days
Soraco57:
Good afternoon, please I want to make an inquiry here, will be happy if someone can help me throw more light , please , I have applied for Irish Visa before in dec 2023 and I was granted though is a tourist visa but I could not go to Ireland due to flu and fever and the application takes 2 weeks as I have visited UK like 12 times last year when I applied for the Irish visa .

So comes 2024, I applied for the tourist visa again to spend my Easter break 2024 in Ireland as I explain in my new application reason why I do not use the first Irish visa granted as a result of fever and flu.

I have submitted since February 2024, and is now passed a month now and I have not heard from the embassy as my travel dates is less than 72 hours and until now I have not receive any decision as I have valid 2 years UK visa and I have visited Britain 2 times between January and February, 2024.

Imagine the travel dates pass, can still they issue the visa from experience, though am still expecting pick up message from them today or tomorrow if God wishes, please I need advice ,

Thanks

Hey. In regards to the above. For me. I will advice if U can pay your school fees in full before U start your program. Also, have you confirmed from the school if they can allow you pay part of your tuition fees and pay the rest when you start your program?
Vikkystar:
Hello house, I want to apply to University College Cork Ireland for an MSc in Clinical Measurement Physiology, it's a 2-year program with a tuition of £11,140 and an Application fee of £50, I would be specializing in cardiac physiology. This course is under the shortage occupational skill and I already have a BSc in Physiology with a 2:2 and a little experience from a hospital in this field during my internship and Nysc. I also have a diploma certificate in Caregiving from Alison with a 2-year experience in Caregiving from a children's care home here in Nigeria.
Will I be able to get a part-time job to work that would be enough to pay my tuition fee for the 2nd year?
I need honest reviews pls because I know I can get a good-paying job in the hospital after my MSc. but before then I want to know if I will be able to survive on my own.
Honest reviews pls as am approaching the deadline for application submission.

Just apply for schools in Ireland. And no, Ireland don't do all those dependants stuffs for students. Only for work permits.

Why not Also try apply for Jobs in Ireland and see if you get a job. While U are Also doing the school parole. Your field is critical skills

Hello everyone, please what is the current exchange rate visa officer use for Ireland visa app ,I am currently putting together my documents for my visa application,I got admission at DBS, data analytics higher diploma,my school fees is 10,050 euro,I have paid 6k to balance up the rest when I get there,I currently have a total of 17m in my account for pof,I will like to know if that is sufficient for my visa application.
Please I hope the Ireland visa guru’s are here
I really need to know if I am on the safe side.

hey. i dont think i have heard of exchange rate that visa officer use. they dont have any business with exchange rate. if u show them money in your account, anybody who is treating your app on that day will just have to convert it to the equivalent of euros for that. i think the required amount now for pof is 9k or 10k for one year just to show u can pay your rent and bills for one year. when i did mine in 2019, it was 7k.

for better succes. i will advice if u can transfer that money into the edubond ireland. just to show the vo that this money is yours. thats what i used anyway. although it doesnt matter. but i used it back then. if u want to finish the visa officer. put like 10k in the eurobond. that will be stuck in ireland till u get here and u will realeasd to u, also put some money in your naija euro account if u have and show them the statement. this will show u are serious and u will have a good chance for success.
let me know if u have any more questions

hey bro. not sure what you mean by after the 2 years PSV what next? the psv is to allow you look for jobs or company that will sponsor. recently, u dont even the company to sponsor u. so far u have a full time job and u earn the required salary. you can sponsor yourself. which is very good

Hello brother, greetings. please can you put me through on the necessary things i need to apply for universities in ireland? also, which of the universities are ok and cheap? can i come in with a dependant? because i will be coming in for masters program. please kindly help me with all this in your spare time. cheeers bro[/quote]

hey bro, applying to universities in ireland is pretty striaghtforward. if all the necessary requirement are met, u will be granted your visa.
talking of cheap, i am not sure about that, most schools in ireland require you to pay you school fee in full immediately you have been granted admission. that will be around 12k. after the schorlaship has been deducted. so it depends if that is cheap to uor not. for schools like ucd or trinity, u will be look at nothing less than 20k. so it depends.

and no, you cant come with a dependant.

thanks

@Segunagagu, after the UK, the Irish Republic is the next country with a significant population of Nigerians in Europe. Some remote counties like Louth and Donegal has also some nigerian presence. I do believe that some of these residents are on nairaland and it will keep this thread more alive and active if the thread is so titled that such people can relate to it and make contributions to the thread. Please if possible edit the title to make it more inclusive.

ohh really. thats nice!!!. i have actually never been to louth or donegal before. and as for me i dont really keep friends or have any.

as for the title. i was thinking of that too. i wont mind if u can suggest a nice title tbh. it will be good. so i will be waiting!!

I'm so glad seeing this. Thank you OP please are schools in Ireland cheap also, can one come with spouse and what is the best program for HND graduate willing to move through study route. Thank you

Schools are not cheap in ireland o. and also for HND, i think you will have to do a diploma first before you can do a masters. and thats like extra money seperately for a diploma. if u are doing a diploma maybe in a IT course and u are lucky enough to get a job that will sponsor u even before u finish the 1 year diploma, then u can leave masters.
i had collegues back then in school that got job before we finished our masters and company sponsored them and they forfeited the masters, because u will have to work full time, and u cant do that on a student visa.

and for the spouse matter, u cant come with spouse to ireland. if they do that one. ireland is going to like uk. hahahahha

How can one go about working or studying in Ireland
Hi Bro. from experience. as u have mentioned. those two ways are the best and legit way to live in ireland. the easiest one is through the study route. for work, this will depend on your skills, as i have few friends that came through that route. bro i am always tell them they are the luckiest, and i am jealous of them. loool. cos they dont have to do a masters and pay like 13k plus like most of us did.

With the work route, you wont believe there are company that will tell you document any money u spent from the day they started talking you, and they will refund everything to you when you get to ireland. some of my friends got like 12k cashback. u can just imagine that. But like i said, your skill!!!!!. my friends are in the finance, audit, tax industry.

But recently, i heard that the irish govt has open another work visa again for non skilled as well, for carpenters and all these labour jobs too. so its nice.

This is a nice thread and I've gotten vital information from it. Thanks for creating this thread @chiggsglover

I have a few questions. I dont know if you had talked about it earlier ..I may have missed the page (please refer me to the page if any)

I wanted to know what about the reputation of National college of ireland. What do you think about getting a job in finance field in Ireland after MSC finance at NCI (or Dublin City University) and 2 years work experience in financial services in Nigeria.

What can you say about racism generally as it relates to job seeking etc.

Thanks.

Also, what are the prospects of getting a pet time job while studying ...are there any finance related part time jobs?

Please anyone in Ireland can help paint more colour to this.

I school in NCI...BE ready to read oooo....as in read!!!!!!!! Cos u will work sooo hard for your marks...I think it because of the standard...

If u are doing MSc in finance and u Even have 2 years finance experience... You will be Grand. There are jobs for u...

While studying....u will get many part time jobs... plenty... Also depending on where you live. .am not sure of part-time finance jobs...but u have to start from somewhere bro.. . from the scratch...

Hope I tried...
