Lai muhammed thinks he's so important in the party that has brought so much pain to The life of so many Nigerians.

APC will be so disgraced in 2023.

Which party will disgraced APC in 2023? Is it PDP that's daily losing its members to the same APC. Emotions don't win elections, APC will retain the presidency in 2023 as things stand.

As for Lai, he should start making other plans as he's no longer relevant in the APC

lol, omo Yebo u and who are the we, lol.

meanwhile Yoruba negotiated for it. they aren't demanding it, Igbo say they dont negotiate ,

so let's wait and see who get it between one who demands and one who negotiates.

I'm not sure you know where Yewa is, omo Yoruba

Omo igbo it's not selfishness, it's politics and if you're really a Yoruba you should know that Obasanjo wasn't really a Yoruba presidency..our man was falae. And it was supposedly a reward for the MKO saga. Socially, politically and geographically the igbos really don't deserve the presidency, and it can't be gotten on a platter of gold.

Anyways whoever gets it doesn't affect my portfolio so am largely indifferent.

I guess Obasanjo is from Zamfara since he wasn't a Yoruba presidency. We had only Yoruba candidates in 1999, what more could we have asked for. Fair is fair, it's the turn of the Igbos to rule this country if they play their game right.

For your info, I'm from Yewa North if you know where that is.

Zulum wants to use the easterners head to break coconut.....most northerners won't vote an Igbo man for president...lol, it's most likely that the presidency will come to the SW come 2023, however with low oil prices and Nigeria in deep debt, insecurity and a comatose economy at this point we're all fvcked either the presidency goes to a westerner or easterner. Who ever will become president will spend the first years cleaning up the shit buhari left behind, would inherit a boko haram crisis, would spend time trying to please the northern cabal and fighting off criticism and opposition burn out of envy from other regions, plus I can tell you that such president wouldn't be able to do much for his region like buhari did as he wouldn't want to seem nepotistic plus consider that we're already broke and sinking in debt. It's not popular opinion but am less concerned if an Igbo man happens to become president cus the outcome would must likely be the same:- nothing tangible for his people or a similar repeat of 1966. Yoruba leaders may need to take a break from Abuja and look inwards, we need to put our house in order. One needs to ask if a Yoruba president will be profitable to the region cus the optics seem negative.

We Yoruba would be selfish to demand for the presidency in 2023. What more can we ask for after being President and VP for 16 years in 24 years

With the joint statement made by South East political leaders some days back, they were demanding for the ticket from all political parties be zoned to South East.

Apart from 1999, I don't think there was anytime any major political party had zoned the presidency to any region of the country in the real sense of it. So I don't think the SE leaders can get their wish but I still think we should support them(SE region) in 2023 in the spirit of fairness.

South East getting the tickets and Support of SW and SS will be hard, considering both will be presenting candidates too.

Well that depends on how much canvassing and negotiations they can do in the two major parties. One thing is certain, they cannot railroad anybody into giving them the presidency.

hmm!

dead on arrival! Yoruba can never get any support from South East and South South because they never deserved it. They should get their support from only Southwest.

So far as 2023 Presidential Election is concerned, Yoruba is on his own because 2023 belongs to Igbo or North can continue ruling the country.

Any Yoruba man that comes out for 2023 President is an Enemy of Igbo, and should be dealt with at the polls. South East and South South are out to deal with any Yoruba Politician that messes up with Igbo.

One Nigeria!!!

You don't threaten people to get their support. That's not how politics works. We all know that in fairness, it's the turn of the South East to rule the country. But politics sometimes is not fair. The best part for the South East to the presidency is APC and I think it's time for them to start embracing the APC. They should leave all the hate in the past and start canvassing the support of all regions, even the South West they hate so much

But we only did 1 term

Yes I know but allowing the 2nd term in 2023 might get us into more problem and agitation in 2027. The person(a South Southerner) there might want a 2nd term while the North would be agitating that power returns to their region. The fairest thing all of us can do now is support a South Easterner presidency.

If we want to be fair, it's the turn of the South East to rule this country. The South West should bury the thought of ruling the country for now after ruling for 8 years and being VP for another 8. As a tribe we are known for fairness and it shouldn't be different in this scenario. It's time to forget whatsoever might have happened in the past and support a South East presidency

When you support people, don't support them blindly. I've been a supporter of Buhari since 2011 but a time will come when you have to tell the people you love(or support) the bitter truth. Everything shouldn't be about politics

Never trust any politician
Politics / Leaked Video: Obaseki Praises Tinubu To High Heaven by shosky1794: 1:26pm On Sep 16, 2020
A video has surfaced that shows that Edo governor Godwin Obaseki is a man of contradictions when it comes to his relationship with APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Just a few years ago, Obaseki was the toastmaster at a birthday colloquium for Bola Tinubu, where he spoke like a bootlicker, in his fawning address at the occasion.

Tinubu, he said has been an inspiration to him. He was the person, who inspired him to join politics.

Tinubu is his leader, he also said.

And he told the gathering as well that Tinubu is one of the most strategic politicians who has defined the progressive politics in the country.

Obaseki also described Tinubu as a visionary.

Contrast this with Obaseki’s position today, when he spoke by proxy to savage the same Tinubu, who called on Edo people to reject his second coming:

“Tinubu knows clearly that come September 19, when godfatherism would have been dismantled in Edo State, the people of Lagos may just have found the recipe and formula for removing the chokehold placed on their collective destinies for decades by Tinubu, hence the inciting television broadcast”.

Watch Obaseki then:

The speaker said no member of the house is supporting Iyamu and at the same campaign ground, the deputy gov is saying the HOA members supporting Iyamu collected money to do so. Obaseki's camp speaking from both sides of their mouths.

"So, one now collects money to remain in his own party". Apt response from the Deputy Speaker
