Just like you too had voted for Yaradua an equally bigoted Fulani man against fellow Southerners in 2007 and were ready to repeat it in 2011if not for his death

SW also voted for Yaradua, so if in fact he was a bigot, all southern regions were responsible for his election. All Southerners share the blame for his installation.

Sorry for being hard on you I now understand the reason for your confusion. It's a foundational problem. The only ethnic group with multiple origin. Igbo na wa o!

Igbos generally don't have myths as their origin, reason why it would seem confusing to people who place firm belief in fairy tales of people dropping from the sky and the likes.
Writing is the only way to maintain the integrity of historical accounts. Oral accounts can't be trusted as they can and have been twisted.
Subsaharan Africa hasn't had proper written history for long so most of our accounts of our origin are laced with a vast number of inaccuracies. Sad, but no in group Subsaharan Africa truly is in a position to categorically state their origin.

PDP's strategy was expected if they want to stand a chance at winning. Lamido is a safe choice for a presidential candidate.
They must now choose a VP candidate of SE/SS extraction to improve their chances.
Let's play Nigerian politics.

You have to understand that nairaland members are mostly secondary school students.
You should not argue with them.

That's actually even more scary to contemplate than that they are much older.
There's no hope for Nigeria if its young people are as dense as the ones represented on this site.

"Kid" sister, not "little" sister.
Younger sister not Kid; Nigerians use this kid expression a whole lot and it's improper. In fact little sister and baby sister are more appropriate idioms than kid.

Travel / Re: Why Bringing A Spouse Abroad Goes Wrong by somegirl1: 10:14pm On Jan 08, 2021

A lot of Nigerian men import wives from Nigeria for the wrong reasons.
They pick home-based women over Nigerian women already abroad, foreign black and white women with the mindset that they're easier to manipulate, subdue and control.
Truth is, the only difference between home-based women and Nigerian women abroad is exposure and availability of options, it's only a matter of time before the home-based lady adjusts to her environment.
Rather than bring a poor girl from Nigeria abroad to dictate to her what she's to study and expect her salary as recompense for putting her through school, how about these men invest in themselves, study nursing, medicine etc and make the money themselves.
I would never hand over my earnings to anyone if I had a choice, no one will wholeheartedly.
The moral lesson from these horror stories is for Nigerian men to stop attempting to use home-based women as investments and to stop being delusional about these women remaining subdued in a liberal society.

By the way, Nigerian women abroad also fall prey to home-based men who mistreat them once they leave Nigeria. It's not just the men that have sorrowful tales to tell.

I just hope the characters spoke Igbo and didn't murder the pronunciations.

Let's even say you were lucky to finally meet the doppelganger of your crush, that doesn't mean you should be too much in a hurry or impulsive, as not to check if he/she is worthy version or an extremely low-budget version.
Adut Akech no doubt looks like Lupita Nyong, but then, at least we all know Lupita still has this sexy looks and curvy body frame. As for Akech, where is her selling point?
White women have good skin and hair, but not the body. Black women have the good body but may not have the skin and hair. Each race with it's selling points.

Surgical face-masks used to cost about N13 before Coronavirus. It would cost less than N260m to make enough face-masks for every Lagosian.

Igbos should simply leave out politicians not from the SE.

Why should Igbos start harassing politicians not from the SE?

Prior to APC's victory in 2015, Amaechi categorically instructed Nigerians, regardless of ethnicity, to "stone" leaders that perform poorly. He blamed the state of the country on Nigerians not being able to hold leaders accountable. So Ipob simply followed his instruction. They should be able to demand good leadership from all Nigerian leaders as long as Igbos remain a part of Nigeria.

If anyone wants to point fingers, let's start with the Western world that brought terrorism to our doorsteps on the pretext of democracy. It would have been hard for Boko Haram to be this strong without Niger and Libya.

If Nigeria is so weak that it's security is at the mercy of the Western world, we should seriously consider inviting Britain to recolonise the country as Nigerians have proven themselves to be incapable of governance.

Your case weak me sef. No be small.

Please, answer the question and quit this indirect answer , what's is it all about or it is about then? grin

Lololo.,.. larger force or whatever are what make up the integral of igr , doorh grin infact , igr , is the compilation and mother of all of the above. Olodo

I apologise, my arguments might be a tad difficult for the obtuse to follow.
I will break it down one last time.
1. This thread was instigated by a different one on IGR by region, which was started with the intention of making mischief because of the recently declared stance of SE governors on Ruga settlements
2. The data incorrectly referred to total revenue as IGR and showed SE's "IGR" to be the lowest
3. I used that specific data to demonstrate that SE was in fact not the least productive region despite having the lowest "IGR"
4. You argued that the population data I used was incorrect and later on presented a different data set which appears to be more accurate, assuming data from Nigerian agencies are reliable. Having looked at your data, it's become clear why sarrki mischievously chose to present total revenue instead of IGR.
5. I, again, used your data set to show that SE was still not the least productive
6. I have implied and stated that productivity is key in analysing revenue E.g. if 8 salesmen generate £2000 and 5 salesmen generate £1500, the latter group is clearly the more productive group
7. You somehow inferred that "productivity isn't about igr", I'm yet to understand from which of my posts you came to that understanding. I can't defend what I neither said nor implied so you're going to have to look for clarity on what you understood elsewhere.
8. I have also stated that the disproportionately high revenue from Lagos is primarily because of its position as the commercial capital of Nigeria. This cannot be disputed. Even though Ogun state's IGR is quite high, which is commendable, it is nowhere close to Lagos's.

Mehnnn. !!!
I knew you won't get my point and while I chose mock your converse with me. Let me explain, my attention was base on what this thread is all about not what sarrki pasted.
Now, let's assume is all about that sarrki thread. Pray, tell us , If productivity isn't all about igr , then what? grin

You confuse yourself.
Productivity is Not "all about igr", rather productivity is to be considered in IGR analysis. If IGR of two regions are identical but one region has a larger workforce than the other, which would you say is more productive?
