Family / Re: "If My Mom Slaps You & You Slap Back, I Will Beat You Blue & Black " - Man by somegirl1: 2:08am On Sep 19, 2018
olatunyemi:
ideally, it's wrong for my mom to slap you and I know her, she won't. Assuming it now happened and you slapped back, then be ready to be beaten and leave my house. you can't slap your mum, can you?

Earthbound:
Simple and short.

I will only beat her because I cannot come and go and return her mother the slap. With some of the kind of women this generation is breeding, I'm sure many of them would slap their mother in laws when the opportunity arises

Take this as a case study;

Would your children be justified for beating you up if you hit their mother?
See how this can become a vicious circle?

Not good to beat a woman.

I pray for every man reading this, may you never be in a situation where a woman will test your patience.

E no easy, it takes so much grace to turn your back and walk away from a determined woman.
It's actually not as difficult to walk away as some men claim.

You would not consider beating up a female boss/employer or a fellow man whom you know you don't match up to in physical strength. Even if the thought crosses your mind, you'll caution yourself.
Why is self-restraint not exercised when it comes to easy prey?
Unless a woman causes physical harm to a man, he has no right to hit her, regardless of what she says.

Understandably so, you might want to gloss over your being too half smart for self relief, but without assuming as you claimed, I have never underestimated your inadequacies.

kiss the truth!

You'll need to translate the emboldened to English as what you've written is incomprehensible.
I won't even go into my inadequacies which you claim to have accurately judged (paraphrasing), as you clearly are looking to impress with words, and failing rather woefully at it, rather than to communicate.

Yoruba people share more in common with Fongbes, Ewes and Ajahs. Fogbe men and women dress like Yoruba. We don't share anything in common with Ibos and Hausas. Igbos look like central Africans e.g Congolese, while Hausa and Fulanis look Black North Africans e.g Malians. We should not be in the same country.
May Eledumare continue to bless Yoruba race.

I concur. Central African features are generally easier on the eyes smiley

Career / Re: Racism: How I Lost India Client On Fiverr Because I'm A Nigerian - Photos by somegirl1: 12:48pm On Aug 09, 2018
Youngadvocate:
This is the first time I would ever see this.

I just got a message on Fiverr this morning from a potential client from Bangladesh, India.

I replied and he told me he needed a Graphics Designer. Unfortunately, I'm not one. I'm just a Copywriter and Digital Marketer.

But, I offered to help him get a professional that can give him a "topnotch design." He gladly and instantly accepted.

However, there was a sharp twist of discussion when he asked me "where are you from?" and I told him I'm from Nigeria, which my Fiverr profile clearly shows. (Perhaps, he didn't see it).

As soon as I told him, he said he was busy to chat with me and bade me good bye.

But I wouldn't let him. And we had some exchange of words which I want to share with you guys.

Your conduct was very unprofessional. If in fact he is racist, which is likely, you can't bully him out of being racist.
Going by the desperation you displayed, it would be very easy for a potential client to mistake you for a scammer.

I've never stated anywhere that Igbos are more educated. Can you find any of my historical posts that even suggests this?
I have also never stated that Igbos are the largest ethnic group, that's unlikely.
I draw my conclusions from data not emotions.
So how do I contradict myself?

Patrioticooduan:

Calculate with your eyes fltino.

If you were educated, you would know that percentages, not volumes, matter. You're probably one of those who would fail if asked which was greater between 50/100 and 1/2.
If 5,000 out of 100,000 Yorubas are university graduates and 4,000 out of 70,000 Igbos are university graduates, do the math and determine which group is more educated.

Your tables do not provide the following vital information :-
1. Population of each state
2. Population of each state by ethnic group
3. No. Of applicants in each state by ethnic group
4. No. Of admitted applicants in each state by ethnic group
5. No. Of admitted applicants who complete their degree in each state by ethnic group.

As you can see the data you provided is of little use in determining which group is more educated as
1. We can't assume that states are homogeneous, consisting of one ethnic group
2. We can't assume that the population of Igbos and Yorubas are the same
3. We can't assume that all admitted applicants actually graduate from university

It would be shameful, if this is what has always been used to support the theory yorubas are more educated.

Does it matter? Take a look at those pictures again and tell me you don't see elderly women in the group photographs.

If men are callous and all they want is sex with a young girl, how about those grannies in the pictures.

From the pictures it looks like its a normal thing in that area. No one looks shocked or surprised.

Would it be news-worthy if it weren't abnormal? How often do you hear of paedophilic marriages in the North, except for when the poor girl poisons family members?
