Politics / Nigeria Is A Country Of Hypocrites And This Electioneering Proves It (opinion) by speedyGonzales: 10:18am On Feb 24, 2023 |
I have watched this election circle with keen interest as Nigerian's faced with tremendous hardship of the past 8 years and levels of poverty never before experienced our history, play around with their future, with politics of tribalism and insensitivity to the diversity of Nigeria. I have to say, that I am deeply disappointed in Nigeria and Nigerians. The best candidate amongst the poll is clear, when analyzed objectively to both Nigerians and the international communities. Nigeria appears to be a nation of hypocrites, complaining about the state of the country, praying endlessly, but never choosing to look themselves in the mirror and stand up to do the right think that can move the country forward. Non of these politicians is a saint, but I will vote the right candidate, even if I am the only one that votes him, because I want a country that works well and not languish this pitiful and disgraceful failure 62 years after independence. Objectively, Peter Obi is the best candidate on the ballot and if he wins, will begin a trend of positive participation of honest Nigerians in politics, with focus on measurable progress and consequences for failure to deliver dividends to the electorate. 4 Likes |

Politics / Re: Is There A Conspiracy Between APC And The media To Conceal Boko Haram Attacks? by speedyGonzales: 9:34am On Nov 24, 2018 |
Mace0lane: I don't care about your stupid igbo vs yoruba politics. I have lost two people to boko haram. I pray you also lose people close to you too in similar violent manner! And buhari doesn't care, just like every other president before him, they all only care about themselves and their, immediate relatives. All politics and all a game to them. |

noturbusiness: yes, he would be in a sane society. he had a 10 yrs old daughter, very smart, I use to help her with her assignments and a 1 yr old son. the mother has since decided to move back with her family in a different state. the burial day the child is asking why the dad is in a box. memories like that stick to people through life. well life in Nigeria is not for sane people. |

Mace0lane: I am not igbo, but you people have to made everything political and tribalism, because you don't care about other people. Do you thing that only Igbo's and Yoruba's exist on the internet? My cousin laid down his life to protect all Nigerians but you are here disrespecting that sacrifice. He has an 11 yrs old daughter that and a 1 yrs old son. Do you thing I am making up tragedy for my family? People like you are just sick, human beings. All, I am saying here is government should honor the sacrifices of this people and transparent with their families that have to survive after they are gone. The mother, who is in her late sixties, do you know how distraught, she was? only son?. It a very shameful thing, you have written here. Perhaps, because you have not experienced this pain and lost, it is easy for you to write something like this. |

noturbusiness: well, his dad was in the army, he just enjoyed helping and protecting others. Besides, If everyone is running from fighting the terrors that attack us, then who will fight for you when Boko Haram show up to your house or village. The Army is important for any Nation, to keep the terrors at bay. But government should play their role with transparency to the army and honorably because these people are prepared to pay the ultimate sacrifice so that the rest of us get to enjoy a peacefully existence. 1 Like |

I would say, yes! my cousin who has been fighting Boko Haram for 5 years, driving armored vehicles, recently lost his life to an IED, he was taken to the hospital alive but with shrapnel in his skull, he was not treated very well at the military hospital, no doctor to care, when he need the help and he passed on. Nothing have been said by government to honor his sacrifice. It is a shameful country, we live in. And he was the only son to his mother, it is just sad. 57 Likes 5 Shares |
Politics / Re: Low Average IQ Reason Atiku And Buhari Leading Contenders In 2019 Election by speedyGonzales: 2:05pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
IQ is a shiit test that is skewed towards people that have formal education, in others words, it is not an objective measure of intelligence. But I agree with you to the notion that poor access to education and information in general is responsible for making two of the least qualified candidates to lead the nation, to becoming the default top two choices for Nigerians. I also feel you cannot discount the reality that rigging, may also be a factor which nudges people, to choose the two people most capable of rigging themselves in to office. |

why is APC, destroying democracy in Nigeria... This take over of a whole arm of government is very dangerous thing o! Why not battle things out in court like previous governments? This Akpabio murdered a lot of people during his tenure, now he has started again, it maybe high time he gets a test of his own medicine. |
