Islam for Muslims / Re: American Pastor Joins Muslims In Ramadan Fast by steaming(f): 2:05pm On Aug 10, 2012
“I feel very happy and fortunate now,” Magruder wrote, who has succeeded in fasting from sunrise till sunset.

In his blog, Magruder invited all people of the Christian faith to try the fasting experience even for one day".

Does it mean that, as an American Christian Pastor, he and the Church he pastors have not been fasting and praying?? Don't they operate by the Bible? There are lots of instances of praying with fasts Sir. he sounds like fasting is one foreign issue to the body of Christ. Fasting is personal as well as corporate but with personal gains when adherred to.

Ozonna:

Well if what u're saying from ur definition of public servants is true, then no wahala. However, will the white paper of the commitee be implemented when released ?

For clarity sake, civil servants are people in main stream....Ministries eg Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Ministry of Agric, Office of the secretary to the Govt of the Federaion etc. Here, , they are recuited through the federal civil service commission as earlier mentioned.

Public Servants are those in parastatals or government owned companies eg NAMA, NESREA, NIGCOMSAT etc. They can also be employed on permanent basis. their's is also pensionable. however, recruitment and sack is not done throuh the Fed Civil service Commission.

Lets join hands togeda and pray to God to help us stop dis dreadful killings.Islam is a religion of peace and will continue to be no matter how some people sees it.It is easy to be brain-washed with lies if things are not going as expected.I belief d level of poverty in the country and d mismanagement by d Govt could make some frustrated beings to turn against d Govt, if offer a good package by d group. It's high tym our Govt start doing d right thing or else i fear for what to come next after BH. God bless Nigeria and protect Us

You guys don't need to keep shoving it down our throats that islam is a religion of peace when the exact opposite is what we keep seeing. if it were, you don't need to keep announcing, we will say it ourselves! That said, is it only in the north that there is poverty? Can you please stop heaping blames on government already? the family is the main unit of raising people---train a child in the way he should go and when he grows, he would not depart from it. northerners should learn to raise their children in LOVE and TOLERANCE of other peoples' beliefs. they should teach them how not to keep relying on others for means of livelihood. they should give birth to only children they can cater for---and not send them off to almajiri to turn them to beggers. surely, you dont need government to do this for you!!! please go enlighten your people.

Run from FLP dear. the people that made money are the people that started it initially.

all the people you hear earning 800k-1m are spneding close to that to buy products every month, prodcuts that you end up, not being able to sell.

they may come in d name of customer club------where they help you grow, RUN dear-------------they do nuffin of d sort-----------at most they help u sign up 1 person and that is if they do---------------and u nid to sign up 25 people to make upto 300k and above and dats in addition to buying goods of 4 case credits worth a 100k every month.

sis, go invest your money elsewhere----------sumwhere worthwhile. ve seen people regretin and regretin signin up.

they wud neva tell u d truth, cos they spent moni signin up and by gettin u in, dey make sum moni no mata how smal, all trying to recover their own moni.

for the customer club, its 142k to sign up, how many people have that cash.

Fashion / Re: Dark Spotss On Face by steaming(f): 11:48am On Jul 22, 2010
having been thru all kinda stuff for spots removal, i have finallly discovered the best stuff!

and it is black soap! yes o, ncha awusa or nkota, dudu osun.

i used it a long time ago, felt it was too harsh on my face and stopped. Almost a year later, in my quest to use nature-based products, i got back to it.

now, i add water, olive oil, honey and lemon to it. my face glows and the spots on my face are fast fast disappearing, the pores are clearly minimised.

i use no cleansers whatsoever anymore. i simply massage my face with my soap, wash off, apply ori at night and dat's it.

i tell you i wud have saved GOOD money if i discovered this a long time ago cos i have spent fortunes trying to give me face d texture and look i wanted. but fank God, i discovered this.

trust mi, this works----stop packin them chemicals on ur face.

if you need more info, mail mi: moni4moi@yahoo.com

trust me, this works like magic!
Religion / Re: Is Rccg And Pastor Adeboye Obliged To Return Akingbola Looted Offering? by steaming(f): 8:58am On Jul 22, 2010
@ Poster, is it just in church they spent money? why dont you got their children's schools, madam's salon, charity organisations they wud have been donating to, clubs etc and ask them to remit the money?

how much is the church supposed to give back if they were to remit the money? who do they remit the money to? EFCC? what has the government done with all the supposed recovered loots?

abegi, make i hear word!

@ yvy, this is really so touching and like others have suggested----do a true deep soul searching, you may not have all d answers, you wud have ur doubts but let God guide u and ur decisions.

your husband must be a good man and i pray he remains so and even better.

you say medically, nothing can be done---just wondering what the problem is.

but like you rightly said, u believe Gods word. it may not be easy but sincerely my heart goes out to you, may he give u and hubby the grace to keep on, he knows everything.

Gods grace and strength. You would smile some day soon, ur desires will b granted u!

How come"your excellency" wasn't typed? Looks like they forgot and didn't want to go through the stress of re-typing;hence the quick inclusion of "your excellency" with a red pen grin grin
Looks out of place to me though!

its a common way of addressing letter in the FG. especially to big shots, dat and the signature under are like the peronal touch to the letter
