Music/Radio / Re: 'Move Your Body' And 'Do Me' Videos: Which Do You Prefer? by suze(f): 9:39am On Dec 18, 2007
The issue is that most people prefer do me as a song. It obviously sounds better than move your body.

AS for me, i assesss the 2 vidos as follows:

more exciting to watch: Do me(with all the dancing and all)

More colouful video: Do me, move your body is rather 2 dark and dull

More creative video: Move your body

I prefer do me. Its more exciting to watch 4 me.

TV/Movies / Re: Celebrity Takes Two: New Dance Reality Show (Sponsor: Skyebank) by suze(f): 10:25am On Dec 12, 2007
It would have been better if the audience was to vote a celebrity out instead of voting for the celebrity we want to stay.

cOS AS it is, its either you vote for the best dancer who i think its sound sultan or i vote for my fan or friend.

I cant vote for 2 or 3 people so i have to make a choice between voting for the best dancer or voting for my fan.

Brian is good but is not the best dancer &Its obvious omotola has more fans than brian thats why shes still there.Pasuma has fans too. I wont be surprised if pasuma and omotola end up in the top three.

If the audience was voting out the worst dancer instead of voting for the best dancer it would have been easier and brian would definitely not be out

Such is life. I own my world

@Tope_dear

I'm not lying, you didnt read my post well. Yes, he put his sim in a real N72 phone and it worked, but while he was bringing out his money and was not looking, he exchanged it with the fufu phone and since he had tried it before, he didnt bother checking till he wanted to put his sim in it when he got home and discovered it was packed with fufu

Fashion / Pls Does Anyone Know Of A Very Good Salon On The Island by suze(f): 10:18am On Dec 10, 2007
Pls does any one know of any nice salon on the island.

Though Most times i end up fixing my weaveon myself on my own head and even when I do it myself people say its nice and even better than the one I spent money to fix in the salon but it can be quite time consuming and stressful cos I really take my time to look at the shape as i fix each layer of weaveon.

PLs does anyone know of any good salon on the island with very good and professional stylists?
TV/Movies / Re: Celebrity Takes Two: New Dance Reality Show (Sponsor: Skyebank) by suze(f): 10:07am On Dec 10, 2007
How can Brian the mr nigeria guy is out. I couldnt believe it. Hes one of the best and deserves to be among the top 3. Sound sultan, omowunmi akinifesi and brian are the best.

Honestly it was a shock to me when they announced his name.

I actualy thought omotola or funmi aofiyebi or pasuma would go out but definitely not brian.

Anyway thats one thing that always happens in all these reality shows. An unexpected person must go out unexpectedly
Phones / Re: Beware Of 'Fufu' Phones At The Computer Village! by suze(f): 9:56am On Dec 10, 2007
Yes someone told me it happened to him too.

Someone offered to sell him an N72 phone, and he said he had only 4000 to buy it and the seller asked him to bring the 4k that he was in need of money thats why he was selling it at that price.

He actually tried the phone as in he put his sim card inside after it worked, he removed it. I think when the guy was about to bring out his money and count, he exchanged it with the fufu phone. As in it was allthose dummy plastic phone cases packed with fufu to make it have weight.

It was when he got home and he was about to put his sim inside that he realised that it was a dummy plastic phone packed with fufu!
Phones / Your First Gsm Handset And All The Handsets You've Ever Used by suze(f): 10:06am On Dec 06, 2007
Hey everyone, what was d first gsm handset u had? Which handsets have you used in d oast

I got my first GSM handset in 2002. Good old 3310. Then i got my sim card for 8500 and I got the phone for like 18k or so.

After a while in 2003, i changed to the silver samsung flip phone A300 blue eye, feeling like a big girl then when samsung and all the eyes were reigning. Blue eye, true eye and free eye.

I used this ble eye till end of 2004 when I got nokia 7600, that phone that looks like meat pie. After this i changed to 6260 in may of the same year.

I used the 6260 for a long time till I changed to N73 thhis year.

I still have all my past phones except for the 7600 meatpie phone which i sold.U wont believe my blue eye is still working fine though there was once it had hearing problem and my good old 3310 just had battery problem, its still working fine.
My 6260 2 tried, i stil have a sim card in it
Phones / Re: N70,n72 And N73 by suze(f): 9:43am On Dec 06, 2007
I use N73 the original edition, the music edition is black while the original  edition is silver. I bought mine in April for about 41k.  I wanted the music edition in silver but they didnt have it silver and i really loved the look of the silver one.

D difference between the music edition and original edition is that the music edition has a 2GB memory card. So i bought the silver original edition and bought memory card.It was a lot cheaper when i did it like that instead of buying the music edition which was about 47k then

N70 usually has control panel problem after a while the screen will just go blank. I know a couple of people it happened to

Music/Radio / Re: Yahooze Didn't Live Up To Its Expectation by suze(f): 11:27am On Nov 30, 2007
Maybe my expectations were too high for the video because I was kind of disappointed

1.The video was not creative enough.

2. The part he said"one million dollars", they just showed a bail of money in his pocket. It was as if they were afraid of letting the money fly or something. At least maybe they should have allowed the dollars to fly about and be allover on the floor and everywhere with nice looking and expensively dressed girls dancing yahoozee or something. How can they say one million dollars and olu just kept on holding on tight to a bail of 1 dollar notes. At least he should have thrown the money in the air or something

3. They didnt really dance in the video except for those 3 children, i think thats the part i like best. They should have allowed us to see more of that matrix yahoozee style which they only danced at d end of the video.

4. The girls they used didnt dress well at all. There was one poorly dressed albino with roughly woven hair sitting down in an opened roofed car with olu. All the other girls didnt dress well too.

If to say na dbanj sing that song ehn, the video would have been much better. The girls d-banj uses in is video make sense abeg

Travel / Re: Working Girls (Women) Avoiding Clubs and Parties? by suze(f): 11:01am On Nov 29, 2007
I dont see anything wrong in a working class girl going to clubs,

I am working class and i attend clubs. And i see alot of my working class people there both males and females.I love dancing a lot and I like to unwind on some fridays after work. But I'm choosy about the clubs i go too though. And it depends on the way u carry yourself and the kinda clubs one goes to before a girl can be thot of as a prostitute.
There are some clubs i would never go to. I dont want to mention names

But when i go to clubs, its either i'm with a guy or a group of friends. I never go alone. If you go to soul lounge on a wednesday, its mostly working class people that are there. Both males and females.

Soul lounge, slicks bar, jazz ville, coconut groove, saipan, bacchus, swe bar are all o.k to me.

If i go to bacchus, i go to the lounge upstairs
Travel / Re: Can You Drive With A Nigerian Licence Outside Nigeria? by suze(f): 10:34am On Nov 29, 2007
If you have get an international drivers licence from nigeria, you can use it in the u.s. and you can use it to get theis u.s drivers licence .

My sister was driving before she left nigeria. But when she got to the u.s and she went for their test driving so she could get a drivers licence, she kept failing the test, shes used to the nigerian way of driving, lol.

So she just sent for the international licence from nigeria. Its even cheaper than the regular nigerian drivers licence. I think we paid about 400 or 500 for it. Then sent it to her. And kapish, she got her american drivers licence
