De_Barrister: I would say this is really a tough one but trust me, dont give up just yet. The age difference is pretty reasonable so I guess she is only scared that you are older than her because she might feel you would maybe want to be bossy on her. If you really love her just try this. Stop calling her too often, rather try sending her some very caring text messages maybe every night b4 u go to bed. Sometime also try sending some good morning text messages that would brighten up her morning.
